GRINDCORE. This is ABADDON's second release following a 7" split released by Severed Head and Halo of Flies. It's a heavy, huge, thrashy, fast, shredding Grind influenced kind of Metal that draws from some serious crusty Hardcore sound. It's definitely for people that like it fast and thrashy, but don't want any cookie cutter Metal/Thrash. It's a dynamic mix of epic build-ups and fast as fuck Thrash with dirty vocals that cannot be understood without the lyric sheet. CONSEILLERS TECHNIQUES, LES - E.P.S. LP 11.90 EUR

PUNK. Everyone's been doing the WARSAW/CRISIS thing recently and from today's point of view these roots of gothic/cold wave sound surprisingly timeless. Bands like FRUSTRATION or NOTHING PEOPLE are heavily influenced by it but it wasn't considered so cool in the mid '90s when the spot was on '60s Garage and probably some obscure '77 Punkrock that was starting to be re-discovered. Back in 1995 some members of The GORGONS recorded this album of their favourite Punk classics, all done in very rough mono Toe Rag style, but among the usual BUZZCOCKS, UNDERTONES & SHAM 69 stuff there are killer versions of two WARSAW classics plus CRISIS' "Holocaust". The album wasn't a success back then, so of the 500 copies pressed Teenage Kicks probably destroyed up to 300 when they closed down. A handful of copies were found recently & here they are. PUNK. Brooklyn’s EX HUMANS are gonna rip it up! This is brand new, down and dirty, NYC Punkrock. The EX HUMANS are Josh Martin, Todd Martin, and Jesse Martinez. They come from other killer bands: CARBONAS, BEAT BEAT BEAT, and The STAR SPANGLES. The EX HUMANS play fast and their songs are undeniably raw and catchy. This is the band’s first 7” single, and it features 2 songs you can drunkenly smash up your apartment to. The A-side brings us “Chicane”, a song about broken hearts and resentment. FLYBOYS - Crayon world / Square city 7''col 3.50 EUR

POP-PUNK. THE FLYBOYS were formed in 1977 by John Curry (Jon Boy) guitar/vocals, David Wilson (David Way) bass/vocals and Dennis Walsh (Denny Drummond) on drums in Arcadia, California. Scott Lasken (Scott Towels) joined on bass soon thereafter and Dennis Walsh left to join THE CROWD. THE FLYBOYS were one of the first day-gloPop-Punk bands from Los Angeles, often called male GO-GO'S though they started the trend. The Jon Boy/Scott Towels line-up started to play Hollywood clubs in 1977 and was devastated by Wilson's death in an auto accident in 1978 shortly after a show sponsored by Brendan Mullen of The Masque at Baces Hall supporting the GO-GO'S and THE AVENGERS. Their ridiculously rare 1979 debut single "Crayon world / Square city" reissued by Frontier Records. The fold-up picture sleeve is the same (minus Fly Guy's catalogue number) but this time the songs really rock as both tracks were digitally remastered by Paul du Gr. JAPANISCHE KAMPFHÖRSPIELE - Luxusvernichtung 10''/CD 9.90/8.90 EUR

GRINDCORE. After more than 10 years these German Grinders decided to release their albums on their own label. "Luxusvernichtung" is a record that consists of 54 short poems that are over before you know it. In nearly 20 minutes this Grindcore act screams and rages the stories through the speakers. JAPANISCHE KAMPFHÖRSPIELE has taken the same concept as AGORAPHOBIC NOSEBLEED has done with "Altered states of America" although there are also differences. Actually nothing changed, they only recorded very short songs this time, the typically German vocals snarl, the guitars shred and of course the back to basic drums rage. PUNK. Out of all the Rock‘n’Roll sleaze bands in Hollywood during the 1980s, The JONESES are recognized as coming first and being the toughest and most honest of them all. This no-nonsense group of Trash-rockers, led by the charismatic Jeff Drake, were a hot-blooded mix of the NEW YORK DOLLS, JOHNNY THUNDERS, and EDDIE COCHRANE, too Glam for Punk and too Punk for Rock. If the term “trashy Rock‘n’Roll” could only apply to one band, The JONESES would take the label in spades. Their music was raw and powerful, their style a mix of their predecessors. They lived the sleazy Rock‘n’Roll life like they invented it, with clever songs about their tales of pills, booze, chicks, and decadence. The JONESES brought their own definition of cool to the table, youthful yet timeless, fierce yet endearing, and drugged up and drunk the whole time. Their music was pure Punk fueled Rock‘n’Roll aggression, sung with ‘50s style melody but coming hard with ‘80s Los Angeles aggression. PUNK. Hailing from Atlanta, the POISON ARROWS are no strangers to the Punkrock world. Featuring former members of The HEART ATTACKS, this new band plays furious Power-Pop Punk with Glam roots that is catchy and anthemic as all hell and raging with attitude. Power-Pop with attitude? Definitely! These aren’t crying-in-your-beer-over-a-girl love songs. This is the band Tuk, Portwood, Josh, and Joey were meant to play in. The A side “Sticky Situations”, about the trouble we all love to somehow get into, will be that foot-tapping, hot jam stuck in your head and stuck on your turntable. POWERSOLO / REAL MONEYMAKERS - Split 7'' 4.90 EUR

PUNK. This splitt is fantastic.. 2 songs from both bands all recorded and mixed in one day. The POWERSOLO started in 1998. Their style is a mix of Country, Surf and Punkrock with a tribute to ALAN VEGA. POWERSOLO has been rockin' all over, performing with artists such as Soul legend ANDRE "Mr Rhythm" WILLIAMS, T-MODEL FORD, BOB LOG III, The HIVES, NEW BOMB TURKS and BILLY CHILDISH. The REAL MONEYMAKERS (members from COLA FREAKS and SAVAGE ROSE) started playing in 1966 in small strip joints and whorehouses around Djursland. In 1967 and 1968 they won the Djursland National Beat Competition. After that they made a super contract with the well known Circus Red Halufox. They toured around the world, as a circus band, until the mid '80s, but where fired in 1986 in Mexico. Because of to much cactus juice and some sweet mushrooms. They still declaim there innocents. Ever since they have tried to reach back to Djursland, but right now are they stock in Denmark not fare away from there home country. They are just playing to get home. (2009/MASTERMIND)
