DARK FUNERAL: Ausschreitungen nach Gig

Zu schweren Ausschreitungen ist es nach einem Dark Funeral-Gig in Lima gekommen. Nachdem die Band ohne ihren erkrankten Sänger Emperor Magnus Caligula auf die Bühne gestiefelt war und ein Instrumental (!)-Set gezockt hatte, drehten einige der Anhänger durch und randalierten anschließend übelst in dem Club. Ein Besucher des Gigs schildert folgendes:

What happened [on Sunday, October 8] in Lima, Peru at the DARK FUNERAL concert was outrageous. Metalheads were waiting for a brutal concert to come... they were expecting total chaos from these Swedes, but they let us totally down. Vocalist didn't sing at any time of the concert. I know that shit like this happens in a band, but what's the point in performing if one instrument is missing? It was boring and people felt cheated. They even played like only an hour, and then they ran out of the stage to the hotel and then to the next stop in their tour. It's a shame 'cause we don't have too many international bands playing in Peru very often, and it's so easy to cheat on us. Next time if someone in the band is sick, simply don't play and return the money, we don't want instrumental concerts. 20 bucks for a concert is a lot for the average Peruvian metalhead, and I mean A LOT!
