Here we go:

7“

411 „say it“ 7“ (headhunter – a handful copies of this groundbreakingt
7“ back in stock) 5.00

AMERICAN NIGHTMARE the first year 2x7" (bridge 9 - The first two 7"s
from one of the best hardcore bands that the new millenium has brought so
far. These guys shook the world with their all-destroying live shows
and their unbelievable power of old school hardcore with their own,
original twist. Limited edition gatefold cover and color vinyl version of
the Year One CD.) 11.00

BIG BLACK heartbeat 7“ (touch & go - Three great choonz from Steve and
the boys--a Wire cover (which is only improved with the Big Black
treatment), and two originals. The strongest track is Heartbeat, which is
universally regarded as fantastic, despite the fact that it's a cover.
The other two tracks are also more than capable of holding their
own--check 'em out if you don't have it, all three songs are on the Rich Man's
Eight Track Tape.) 4.50

BIG BLACK - IL Duce / Big Money 7" (touch & go - The first thing the
new line up released was the Il Duce 7" which featured a leftover from
the Racer X session on the A side and new tune on the flip.) 4.50

BIG BLACK the model 7“ (touch & go - One Cheap Trick song, one
Kraftwerk song, covers are parodies/tributes to the album covers that the songs
were originally on.) 4.50

DANSE MACABRE/ AM I DEAD YET split 7“ (react w/ protest - 3 last songs
from those belgium screamo heros with their mix between heavy
doublebass driven darkness and chaotic always screamed hardcore. rest in peace.
and also 3 new smasher from the emo violence gangster mob danse macabre
from the same session as the split with her breath on glass! beautiful
cover) 4.00

ENGINE DOWN same 7“ (lovitt records - – their FIRST AMAZING 7inch.
Harrisonburg, Virginia's Engine Down sprung forth from the ashes of
Sleepytime Trio, and this seven-inch is an introduction to this intense
quartet. Methodical, intricate, and beautiful guitar musings (featuring
original guitarist Jeremy) lull you into submission only so you can be set
up for the explosion that awaits. There is no time to waste, and Engine
Down are ready to show you how to do the stop, drop, and roll when you
realize this record has you on fire!) 4.50

THE FLOOD COVERS THE EARTH Drawing A Line 7" (dood records This Flood
Covers The Earth is a San Diego band mixing the early nineties Gravity
Records sound like Heroin with more modern screamo acts such as Funeral
Diner. Colored vinyl 7" comes in a handscreened tri-fold record sleeve
with awesome pictures of pirate ships.) 5.00

FIRED UP - when lights go out 7" (young blood - Connecticut's Fired Up
formed and quickly recorded their demo in early 2005. In March of 2006,
Fired Up recorded this, their debut EP for Youngblood. "When The Lights
Go Out" contains six songs of blazing positive hardcore, a perfect
addition to the Youngblood Records roster. The compact disc version of this
release contains their demo as bonus tracks, making it a 12-song MCD.)
5.00

FREEZE, the – Bloodlights 7“ (TAANG - Once again, where do we find this
stuff? All original pressings most colored vinyl, etc, yep - two songs
and this is a original TAANG pressing. just a handful A little slower
now, otherwise the same old powerful guitar sound, Cliff's great voice.
Nice comeback.) 5.50

HOW WE ARE same 7" (out of sight - Before their full-length on Triple
Attack and split with Black SS, Rochester, NY's How We Are recorded and
released these six songs through Stop Whining, Start Winning Records
for the CD and Out Of Sight Records for the vinyl. This is the band's
earliest offering, showing the beginnings of their epic hardcore sound.)
4.50

MELTDOWN same 7“ (trash art - Just in time for New England's summer
cold snap, we proudly unleash the Meltdown demo, revamped and pressed up
onto some environment polluting colored vinyl 7-inchers. This brutal
metallic hardcore band boasts current and former members of Verse, Learn
and Rampage, fronted by indomitable hype-man, and publisher of Final
Word Fanzine, Pauly Edge. Pauly's frenzied rantings are backed by riffs
and breakdowns that sound as if they could have been lifted directly from
Obituary and Cro-Mags records. This limited vinyl EP will be
exquisitely wrapped in 4-color silkscreened covers featuring artwork by James
"Gunsho" Quigley.) 6.00

TOTALITAR Vi Ar Eliten 7" (feral ward - Swedish crust legends Totalitar
plow through four tracks of their signature fuzzed-out D-beat sound
that combines influences from bands like Discharge, Mob 47 and
Anti-Cimex.) 5.00

UNWOUND - corpse pose/ everything is weird 7" (kill rockstars - The
weird 6th 7" from these weird kids in a weird town. Alternate mix A-side &
non-album B-side.) 4.50

VIOLENT MINDS/ NEVER HEALED Armoury Of Fearless Truth Against
Whispering Rumor split 7“ (spiderghost - Never Healed are a vicious project
brought together by members of Look Back And Laugh and Lights Out that is a
mid-tempo bulldozer of hardcore. Violent Minds are a beast from Philly
and offer up two tracks of early '80s styled street punk influenced
hardcore.) 4.50

10“

JULITH KRISHUN/ TRIP FONTAINE split 10“ (red field records - this
JULITH KRISHUNS latest release - their new songs are more chaotic - but
still in your face. The forming their own style ... Their best stuff so
far. I haven´t heard Trip Fontaine yet .. a nice looking 10" limited to
300 copies on blue wax w/ a awesome layout from Paul XRRRX) 9.50

Baltimore, MD, play fast and furious metal influenced hardcore, crossing
"Systems Overload"-era Integrity and Left For Dead (mixed with a little
Napalm Death/Slayer for good measure). Features former and current
members of Slumlords, The Spark, Taken By Force and Never Enough. Now
available on vinyl!) 11.50

LPS

BONNIE PRINCE BILLY i see the darkness LP (drag city - More Palace
adventures starring everyone's favorite member of the Royal family, Will
Oldham. Hear the darkness! I think his best record) 14.00

CAT POWER the covers records LP (matador – back in in print) 12.50

CAT POWER „what would the community say“ LP (matador VINYL BACK IN
PRINT! Chan (pronounced "Shawn") Marshall's second album under the name
Cat Power, finds the North Carolinian at lo-fi maverick Doug Easley's
Memphis studio, her soft, engagingly shy voice and delicate acoustic
guitar supported by Easley's pedal steel and Sonic Youth drummer Steve
Shelley's percussion. Though Easley and Shelley are better known for working
with much louder, noisier artists than Marshall, they never overpower
her sensitive but sturdy material. Sounding more self-assured than she
did on her debut, 1995's DEAR SIR, Marshall invests more passion and
fire in songs like the foreboding "Water and Air" and the obsessive,
feedback and piano-laced title track than one expects to find in the
slacker-friendly lo-fi genre. Elsewhere, the delicate "King Rides By" is an
unvarnished love song that packs an equally powerful emotional wallop.
Marshall sings with the most poignant, achy voice you can imagine,
perfect for your most vulnerable, heart wrenching nights. An outstanding,
underrated album.) 12.50

DEATHCAB FOR CUTIE - Transatlanticism ltd DLP (sonic boom - With songs
equal to those on We Have the Facts and a lush, brilliant production
that continues what The Photo Album started, Transatlanticism is easily
Death Cab's best record to date. Much attention has duly been focused on
doe-eyed singer/lyricist Ben Gibbard, co-star of the Postal Service
phenomenon, and Ben's voice is as strange, beautiful, and as strong as
ever on these songs, which deal with the difficulties of long-distance
relationships. But guitarist/producer Chris Walla once again proves
himself to be the band's secret weapon, layering subtle sonic touches
throughout Transatlanticism, which is most definitely a "headphone record."
This Seattle quartet is one of the only bands to really have picked up
the intelligent, emotionally resonant, and guitar-driven indie-pop torch
that Built to Spill briefly lit in the mid-1990s (before themselves
heading off to the stoner-rock territory). DCFC themselves seem poised to
finally break out to a wider audience, and they truly deserve it with
this disc. --Mike McGonigal) 20.00

DRIVE LIKE JEHU same LP (headhunter – also back in stock. A class – pre
HOT SNAKES) 11.50

GHOST snuffbox immanence LP(drag city – a lot more traditional, and a
lot less-psychedlic than ghost's three previous studio attempts. it's
sung primarily in japanese, with some great pop hooks and japanese melody
but mainly it's that classic chamber folk music we have grown to love.
first released in 1999 on drag city) 14.50

GHOST tune in, turn on, free tibet ltd DLP (drag city - meditative and
intense, 'tune in, turn on, free tibet' is some of ghost's most
mind-blowing work. on this release, the band has clearly reached a subtler,
syncretic, unusual mixture of sun-baked psychedelic drone, folky trance,
and traditional japanese sacred music. it ranges from exultant to
gloomy; most of the music is slowly evolving and acoustic (voice, recorder,
guitar, bells, strings), though arcane synthesizers and electric
guitars are also thrown into the mix. first released in 1999 on drag city)
19.50

ISIS In The Absence Of Truth 2xLP (robotic empire - us-press - Isis are
a band who requires no introduction. Formed in 1997 Isis have
established themselves as one of, if not the best act within their genre.
Although Isis are notably known as a Prog/Sludge Metal band they defy all
genres with their hypnotising music. I've been waiting in anticipation for
the release of Isis's forth full-length album, "In The Absence Of
Truth" ever since i heard the masterful "Panopticon" and when i heard it had
leaked, i just had to check it out. Isis are a band who are forever
going through transitional stages. They've evolved in every way possible
since the early days of "Mosquito Control" and "The Red Sea", even from
their debut album "Celestial" back in the year 2000. For me, the major
differences come in terms of musical progression and the production of
Isis' music. In the days of "Celestial" Isis' production was hazy and
worthy of their reputation as a Sludge Metal band, but with "The Absence
Of Truth" Isis have developed a far cleaner sound in which every
instrument is easily distinguishable and the vocals can actually be made out.
Another major difference that struck me instantly with this new
approach from Isis is the vocals. Long gone are the days where Aaron Turner
screams his way through song after song, but now there is a bit more
variation in vocals which we started to see on "Panopticon". His clean
vocals are introduced more often than not now, and they're immense. They
grab your attention and are able to hold it for long periods of time, he
is a superb vocalist. He can alternate between styles of vocals easily
and pulls off such beauty with his clean vocals which compliment the
music fantastically. Seemingly Isis have resorted to a more tribal feel,
something like that of Tool. It's a welcomed addition personally.
Synths are more prominent and more easily distinguished in the music. The
texture of the music is also something that has been vastly improved.
Isis spin out some very beautiful melodies and harmonious vocals.
Comparisons are likely to be made between Isis and a number of bands including,
Tool, Pelican and Jesu. But Isis are in a league of their own. This
album is simply stunning, it contains everything you'd want and everything
that makes music great. Incredible melodies, fantastic structures and a
bit of variation from the norm. Highlights include; Wrists of Kings,
Not In Rivers, But In Drops and Garden of Light. We have copies on WHITE
VINYL) 22.00

JUSTICE elephant skin LP (looking out records - European hardcore is an
entity often overlooked or laughed at, but times have changed and
Belgium's JUSTICE are at the forefront of the European hardcore scene.
Widely recognised as the first European hardcore band to be fully accepted
by the American straight edge scene, JUSTICE is ready to unleash to he
world Elephant Skin, their debut LP of ferocious, mid-paced
NYHC-influenced hardcore. Equal parts CRO-MAGS and BAD BRAINS, JUSTICE have carved
their own infectious sound sure to get kids moving worldwide.) 11.50

NO TURNING BACK Holding On LP (REFLECTIONS - After being together for
nearly a decade, No Turning Back is a rare band that has been able to
take humble European beginnings to worldwide notoriety. After releasing
the EP "Rise From The Ashes" on Bridge Nine Records out of Boston, No
Turning Back is teaming up with Reflections with "Holding On," their
third full-length album released as an LP worldwide.) 12.00

PEDRO THE LION Winners Never Quit LP (jade tree - Shame, delusion, and
resignation are everywhere on Winners Never Quit. David Bazan's grim
songs come off like allegories without the comfort of clearly stated life
lessons. The listener is left to sort out the meaning or moral of
gloom-ridden scenarios featuring troubled characters who live in America,
the land of the winner. "To Protect the Family Name" is a painfully
poignant depiction of a vulnerable drunk who's fallen off the wagon and is
begging for another chance. Bazan's slow, almost slurred singing deftly
places the listener in close proximity to the drunken protagonist. The
drums have a murky sound quality that nicely reflects the song's theme
and mood. Similarly, the title tune's enervated drumming matches the
sentiment at hand. It closes out the album with just a glimmer of--for
lack of a better word--hope, as Bazan sings, "Count it a blessing/that
you're such a failure / your second chance might / never have come."
--Fred Cisterna) 13.00

POSITIVE REINFORCEMENT same LP (third party records - Boston's Positive
Reinforcement play fast hardcore punk with an early '80s feel and a
love for the straight edge. For fans of Redemption 87, No Justice, and
Lifes Halt.) 11.00

Pussy Gutt / MonsterDudes - Split LP (yosada - PUSSYGUTT is burly!
Awesome and gender-balanced, these two totally kick out the Ruins/Sabbath
jams with some techno punk drumming. Get your jean jacket and your
dancing shoes! MONSTERDUDES has more variety here than on their 7" with
lots of switching of drummers, keyboards and vocals. The Dudes even get a
little sentimental on this one... First pressing limited to 300, Gold
marble swirl vinyl and hand screened covers. Co-Released 2005 with Fort
Hazel, Dying is Deadly/Yosada and Rocking Horse.) 10.50

PYRAMIDS Following the Tracks Blue/White Marble LP (paramnesia – back
ins tock. Epic in nature, the debut from Pyramids blends churning, chord
laden bass, pummeling drums, dark guitars and frantic vocals. A
whirlwind guide through the dreams we don't care to remember in the morning.
reminds me a lot on PORTRAITS OF PAST. Ex-members of A Petal Fallen and
The Holy Fucking Spirit.) 11.00

ROCKET FROM THE CRYPT Paint As A Fragrance LP (headhunter - yep -
another warehouse find. a damn classic and maybe the last time you gonna see
that on vinyl) 13.00

RUMBLE IN RHODOS - "Own me like the city" LP (anomalie - This is the
vinyl version of Rumble In Rhodos debut album "Own me like the city". A
talented band with a bright future. Stylistically full of dynamics,
playful guitars, among a yanking, diverse and high pitched singer are some
of their aesthetic qualities. With danceable melodies, upbeat and brash
rhythms this can easily be run several times troughout its runtime.
Close to bands on the French Kiss, Sound Virus roster. Currently booking
their first european tour that kicks off in spring 06.) 10.00

SNAKES, the - Happy LP (adult swiim - pre EMBRACE old DC legend w/
awesome postpunk rock – history) 11.00

THE SHINS Wincing The Night Away LP + 7" (sub pop - "Indie rock's
hardest-working slackers finally release their third album, on which
they've made the clear transition from bedroom-pop to stadium-rock without
losing everything that makes them great. Those soaring vocals that sound
like the unholiest collision of The Cure and Simon And Garfunkel, the
nimble pop hooks that are never overused, and lyrics that are as
self-deprecating and razor sharp as they are playful. 'Wincing The Night
Away,' engineered by the legendary Joe Chiccarelli (Beck, U2), has already
commonly been referred to as the most anticipated indie rock album of
2007." - From the label. And now for a very limited time, while our
supplies last, the vinyl version will include a bonus 7" single with a
previously unreleased track, "Nothing At All," on the A-side and an
alternate version of "Spilt Needles" on the B-side for mailorder customers
only!) 17.50

SLAYER christ illusion lp (american recordings - The original Slayer is
back. As soon as Christ Illusion starts, there is no denying that
Slayer still has "it," whatever "it" is. This album marks the first time
that the original lineup has been in the studio together since the 1990
classic, Seasons in the Abyss. That combination of Tom Araya, Kerry King,
Jeff Hanneman, and the returning Dave Lombardo, is a force to be
reckoned with. Slayer has been at the forefront of thrash metal from the
beginning pioneering the genre with albums such as South of Heaven and the
landmark Reign in Blood. Limited red vinyl – bakc in stock) 19.00

SLEEPER CELL same LP (partners in crime - From the ashes of Balance Of
Terror, Boston's Sleeper Cell continue on with their efforts to play
the best Tennessee-influenced hardcore possible. This offering is the
band's debut full-length and is 12 songs of Deathreat and No Parade-styled
hardcore punk.) 11.50

SWORD age of winter LP (kemado - It's impossible to describe The Sword
without some attention to the convoluted scene politics that surround
the band's genre, so let me briefly contextualize. A few years ago
indie-rock hipsters latched onto metal as the next cred-sanctioned movement.
But the discovery of great new bands like Mastodon led not to a
full-scale exploration of the Relapse, Roadrunner, or Century Media rosters,
but rather to an emerging set of indie-sponsored metal. Thus we got, for
instance, Early Man on Matador and Pearls & Brass on Drag City. As
might be imagined, the more extreme elements of the metal scene-blast
beats, Cookie Monster vocals, etc.-are absent from this burgeoning
indie-metal movement, which instead looks to more palatable reference points,
ranging from 80s thrash metal to the deep, heavy grooves of so-called
"stoner rock.") 12.50

TITAN The Chrysanthemum Pledge 12" (react w/ protest - his is ex i
spoke and panserbjorne hailing from canada! heavy destructive hardcore with
influences from uranus, buried inside or june paik! in my opinion this
bands continues the canadian style – excellent) 10.00

TODAY IS THE DAY willpower LP (amprep – their legandary 2nd album on
AMPREP. It has been metal album of the year in 1994) 13.00

UNWOUND - Leaves Turn Inside You 2xLP (kill rock stars - the first
album from Unwound in three years finds them naturally having spent more
time refining their musicianship in the studio. Their style has grown
toward more ambitious playing. Their songwriting has matured with the
creation of refined pieces and movements, well balanced and thought out.
There are instrumental pieces that will surprise you, and sing-alongs
that will woo you. Guest musicians include Steve Fisk, Janet Weiss, and
Brandt Sandeno.) 16.00

UNWOUND - New Plastic Ideas LP (kill rock stars - RE- entry blues
burned to a shine. Engines running smooth. Check out the spaces inbetween &
In Stereo) 12.00

UNWOUND repetition LP (kill rock stars - Alien landscape exploration:
spread out, locate, analyze, identify, modify, repermutate,
transmogrify.) 12.00

SHEER TERROR, BREAKDOWN, MAXIMUM PENALTY, NORMAN BATES & SHOWERHEADS,
LIFE'S BLOOD, KILLING TIME and more. Remastered and colored vinyl.
limited vinyl pressing
Besides the legendary Revelation Records compilation, "The Way It Is,"
this is considered to be THE classic New York hardcore compilation of
the late '80s. The band line-up speaks for itself: Gorilla Biscuits,
Sheer Terror, Life's Blood, Breakdown, Outburst, Raw Deal, Maximum
Penalty, N.B.S.H. and Uppercut, and it's almost all unavailable elsewhere.
Reissued and remastered after all this time (originally released in 1989)
on 140 gram blue vinyl in a gatefold sleeve. This will now be a vinyl
and download-only release, the CD is long out of print!) 16.00

WIRE Pink flag LP (4 men w/ a beard - REISSUE! Originally released on
Harvest in 1977, Pink Flag is perhaps the most original debut album to
come out of the first wave of British punk. Exhibiting severe art
school damage, Wire careens at breakneck speed through 21 songs in 36
minutes to create an album that has influenced bands for nearly thirty
years.180 gramm vinyl) 18.00

XASTHUR Nocturnal Poisoning DLP (southern lord – we got some copies
back in stock. Since 1999 Xasthur has been releasing material as a one man
entity. He has released thirteen albums that have helped to lay a solid
and stable foundation for his career. Without any live performances but
a lot of work in the studio, Xasthur has become a very credible and
untouchable figure in the North American Black Metal scene. Expect more
productivity and much more visibility from Xasthur in the future. Xasthur
will not quit until the END! Xasthur does NOT play "war" metal or
"black/death" metal, nor viking or retro trash! Just terrifying
misanthropic BLACK METAL! If the USBM "scene" wants nothing to do with
Malefic or Xasthur for this, then FUCK OFF to all of you!) 20.00

HOT CROSS risk revival CD (equal vision - Hot Cross is an emotional
hardcore band from Philadelphia currently on Hope Division/Equal Vision

Jehu.) 11.00

BOOK

FRED HAMMER the power of expression Book (draxon publications - Long
before punk rock or punk rock photography was "cool," Fred Hammer was
taking photographs of bands and making flyers for punk shows. A founding
member of the "nardcore" scene in Oxnard, CA, Fred Hammer has taken
thousands of photographs documenting his local scene and also traveling
the world, snapping his camera wherever a band would play. His
photography has been featured on hundreds of releases (LPs, CDs, DVDs, t-shirts,
posters, etc.) around the world. His flyer artwork started with making
flyers for local bands and then extended into making flyers for bands
from around the world traveling through Southern California. If you
collect punk rock flyers or have attended shows in Southern California, you
have seen Fred Hammer or his photography/flyers somewhere along your
journey. Now see it all in one book!
