Black Haven was formed around april, may 2006 when guitarist Ramzi and drummer Nick joined forces with bassist Kristof, Guitarist Pedro and vocalist Ray Kluze. The members come from all different backgrounds within the hardcore scene. Kristof used to play in Spineless and later on in the massive Amen Ra, while Pedro was riffing in the oldschool formation The Deal and Nick played drums in a metalcoreband called Deathwish. It was their mutual love for harsh and dark music that brought them together to create a Black Haven.
They played their first show on October 1st and haven't stopped playing around the country and beyond since. With an average of 5 shows a month they quickly became a very promising band within the scene. Within their first year of playing shows, they played: Trashfest (NL), Ieperfest (BE), Light The Fuse Fest (NL)... EU/UK tours with The Break In, Ritual...
At the beginning of 2007 they released a 4-song demo which grabbed the attention of Holy Shit Records and Blacktop Records. In April 2007 the band recorded 8 songs to be released as a CDEP on Blacktop and a 7” on Holy Shit. With this record, the band is gonna play out a lot and be a Haven for all the lost souls among us.

BTR014: NOTHING TO HIDE s/t MCD
Nothing To Hide is one of germany's new hopes. They released a demo on Kill Me Twice Records some years ago but somehow didn't get the kids attention. After some line-up changes and new songs, Let It Ride Records and Blacktop Records totally fell in love with these four kids between 17 and 26.
Playing tons of shows all over germany and doing a small tour in fall 2007, the band is trying to promote the records and spread their word.
Their MCD contains five songs from which four appear on the the same titled 7" on Let It Ride Record.
For fans of True Blue, Black Friday 29, No Turning Back and your favorite band.
