-----------------------------------------------------------
ALESANA - Try this with your eyes closed CD 9.90 EUR

EMO/INDIE. For the first time in almost four years, the very first studio album from ALESANA is now available. Consisting of 7 songs which originally appeared on the EP plus 2 early recordings that were available on an early label sampler. "Try this with your eyes closed" explains why ALESANA has become a phenomenon. Completely remixed and remastered by renound producer Jamie King (Between The Buried And Me, He Is Legend, Bury Your Dead), the EP captures all the excitement and energy the band embodies as they still continue to rise to prominence. (2008/TRAGIC HERO)

-----------------------------------------------------------
BEN NICHOLS / CHUCK RAGAN / TIM BARRY - Revival road 2008 LPcol 15.90 EUR

SINGER/SONGWRITER. This limited edition LP has a hand-screened cover and is limited to 1,000 copies, with 500 being sold on the "Revival Road" tour that is being undertaken by HOT WATER MUSIC's Chuck Ragan, AVAIL's Tim Barry and LUCERO's Ben Nichols, with each of the participants lending tracks to the recording. (2008/SUBURBAN HOME)

-----------------------------------------------------------
BETRAYAL - The people's fallacy MCD 9.50 EUR

HARDCORE. "The people's fallacy" is the first offering from Southern California straight edge outfit BETRAYAL, whose young age is overshadowed by a technical proficiency that rivals that of veteran bands, bringing a heavy sound comparable to TERROR, ON BROKEN WINGS and FIRST BLOOD. 8 songs! (2008/MEDIASKARE)

-----------------------------------------------------------
BIRTH CONTROL - Going to target 7'' 3.90 EUR

PUNK. Finally, the vinyl debut of Philly burners BIRTH CONTROL. This platter contains 4 blasts of twisted and demented punk that only these four losers could come up with together. For fans of all the hits that have been coming out of the greater Allentown area. (2008/FASHIONABLE IDIOTS)

-----------------------------------------------------------
BOYS NIGHT OUT - Make yourself sick LPcol 14.90 EUR

EMOCORE. BOYS NIGHT OUT play a dark take on pop punk laced with screaming vocals and the occasional breakdown. "Make yourself sick" is a masterpiece of a debut album. From church choirs to samples to multiple layers of vocals, this album more than hints at what this band can become. (2008/SUBURBAN HOME)

-----------------------------------------------------------
CARPATHIAN - Isolation DigiCD 10.90 EUR

HARDCORE. Since forming on Victoria, Australia’s Mornington Peninsula over five years ago, CARPATHIAN have been an indestructible force on unstable ground. Hampered by incessant line-up changes, they’ve nonetheless managed to assert their dominance in the Australian hardcore pack. Within each of the ten songs that comprise "Isolation", CARPATHIAN’s overall growth is apparent. Cohesive song writing, fantastic recorded performances, and a powerful collective vision shine throughout. Lyrically "Isolation" walks the desolate personal path of CARPATHIAN vocalist/lyricist Martin Kirby. Taking on personal and social/environmental subject matter, he strives to not only express but also educate willing ears to live positively in this negative world - instilling the fact that CARPATHIAN are one of the few bands out there today that remain as inspiring as they are highly entertaining. Recorded & engineered by Jay Maas (SHIPWRECK A.D., VERSE, THE CARRIER, etc.).
(2008/DEATHWISH)

-----------------------------------------------------------
CHRONIC SEIZURE - Live on WHPK 7'' 3.90 EUR

HARDCORE-PUNK. Chicago's CHRONIC SEIZURE offers up 9 of their best cuts from a recent radio show. Top of the crop midwest Hardcore played like no other. This is a one-time-only pressing of 500 copies all on clear wax. So think of it as a fan club record without having to do something retarded, like... joining a fan club. (2008/FASHIONABLE IDIOTS)

-----------------------------------------------------------
CULT RITUAL - 3rd 7'' 4.70 EUR

HARDCORE-PUNK. CULT RITUAL's brand of noisy Hardcore is back with 3 exclusive tracks to this 7" EP, simply titled "Third". With dissonant guitars, shrieking bass and maniac vocals, their style of "My war"-esque hardcore (though they’ve been more compared to B'LAST than anyone else) is sure to please. This record is housed in a two-color silkscreened jacket with a lyric booklet and all wrapped up in a stickered/resealable polybag. First pressing of 500 records from Drugged Conscience. (2008/DRUGGED CONSCIENCE)

-----------------------------------------------------------
DEAD AND BURIED - Bear witness CD 11.50 EUR

HARDCORE. The first full-length recording in five years from these Delaware hardcore titans, "Bear witness" is a punishing delivery of metallic hardcore for fans of MERAUDER, RINGWORM, JUDGE and SHATTERED REALM; features guest vocals from Justice of TRAPPED UNDER ICE and Ziggy of BARRICADE, among others. (2008/ESCAPIST)

-----------------------------------------------------------
DIRTY DEAD - Carnivorous lunar activities CD 11.50 EUR

HORROPUNK. Since 2004, Los Angeles-by-way-of-Chicago's DIRTY DEAD have been bringing a torturous brand of Horrorpunk featuring haunting vocals reminiscent of Glenn Danzig with driving Punkrock guitars that take cues from MISFITS, RAMONES and FEAR, at times sped up to a frantic hardcore punk pace. Their sound has landed them on fests that feature both punk and metal as well as several high-profile compilations. This CD also includes their out-of-print demo and the split with GHOUL SQUAD. (2008/NOTHING BUT A NIGHTMARE)

-----------------------------------------------------------
EATING GLASS - Feed them... ...to the vultures 7''col 4.90 EUR

HARDCORE. EATING GLASS are a Hamilton, Canada quintet that conjure up a burly metallic hardcore sound played at varied speeds utilizing fast rhythms, blast beats, mosh parts and crunching double-bass breakdowns to create a sound that brings together bands like INTEGRITY, PULLING TEETH and REPULSION. (2008/HIGH ANXIETY 416)

-----------------------------------------------------------
ENVY / THURSDAY - Split LP 15.90 EUR

HARDCORE/EMO. Recorded in spring 2008, both bands turn in some of their most inspired work yet. Pressed on audiophile-quality 180 gram vinyl and featuring original artwork by acclaimed poster artist Dan Grzeca, this deluxe set includes a free copy of the CD format beautifully incorporated into the exquisite package design. (2008/TEMPORARY RESIDENCE)

-----------------------------------------------------------
GAINING GROUND - Still trying 7''col 4.90 EUR

HARDCORE. Coupling the musical delivery of both TRIAL and FLOORPUNCH, Albany, NY's GAINING GROUND bring a fresh approach to their scene, attacking with speed, anger and plenty of breakdowns and singalongs. (2008/SEASICK)

-----------------------------------------------------------
GUILT TRIP! - Same 7'' 4.70 EUR

HARDCORE-PUNK. On their debut 7", New Jersey's GUILT TRIP! play 3 songs of Hardcore-Punk that are inspired by both NJ Hardcore greats like AOD and TEAR IT UP, as well as early Californian legends like BLACK FLAG and BL'AST!, all while featuring members of FAST TIMES, TEAR IT UP and the RITES. (2008/ABSENT)

-----------------------------------------------------------
HEAVY HEAVY LOW LOW - Turtle nipple and the toxic shock LP 14.90 EUR

METAL. Everyone's favorite spazzy Hardcore champs HEAVY HEAVY LOW LOW are releasing their sophomore release for Ferret Record. It is uniquely titled "Turtle nipple and the toxic shock". Never failing to intrigue, the title is a good representation of some of the wacky hijinx that will ensue when the album hits your CD player. The band recorded the record with good friend Sam Pura (NORTH, STRATA, SEIZE THE NIGHT), who did the EP that caught the attention of their New Weatherman home. This is a big deal to the band, who are proud of the progression they have made since their debut. (2008/SUBURBAN HOME)

-----------------------------------------------------------
HERDS - Same (2nd) 7'' 3.90 EUR

HARDCORE. Newly birthed Milwaukee HC heros, HERDS offer up 5 more tracks of rough midwest Hardcore played by ex-members of all yer favorite midwest bands CHARLES BRONSON, GET RAD, The BAYONETTES, and THREATENER. Much like the great debut single, the lyrics focus on the darker side of nature. Outstanding packaging courtesy of the fine folks at Monolith Press round this out. (2008/FASHIONABLE IDIOTS)

-----------------------------------------------------------
IMPULSE INT'L, THE - Saturday Suzie 7'' 4.70 EUR

PUNK. Here we have the third single from NJ's (by way of Florida) IMPULSE INT'L and it's another power pop gem. As a comparison, the IMPULSE INT'L remind me of PAUL COLLINS BEAT's ''Rock'n'Roll girl'' which pretty much means they play extremely catchy power pop . Their first two singles (on DERANGED) received top notch reviews and this is more of the same brilliant sound. An album is now in the works. (2008/MUTANT POP)

-----------------------------------------------------------
JENA BERLIN - This is yours as much as it is mine 7''col 4.50 EUR

PUNK. Brand new 7inch from Philadelphia's JENA BERLIN showcasing more of their up-tempo and chaotic style than ever before. "The great plains" (A-Side) and "Oh god" (B-Side) deliver even more inspired Post-Hardcore Punkrock then their previous two efforts. (2008/JUMP START)

-----------------------------------------------------------
KILL THE CLIENT - Cleptocracy LP 12.50 EUR

GRINDCORE. Offering up 18 tracks of unadultered Texas grind, KILL THE CLIENT make their Willowtip Records debut with "Cleptocracy" which takes thrashing riffs, blistering double bass and manic vocals to create a sound reminiscent of NASUM, BRUTAL TRUTH and early NAPALM DEATH. (2008/RESCUED FROM LIFE)

-----------------------------------------------------------
LOVEDRUG - The sucker punch show CD 13.90 EUR

INDIE/ROCK. On "The sucker punch show," Cleveland, OH's LOVEDRUG plant themselves somewhere between '70s styled psychedelic Guitar-Rock and a COLDPLAY-like modern Rock sound. They've shared the stage touring alongside bands like PLAIN WHITE T's, PANIC! AT THE DISCO, YELLOWCARD, MATCHBOOK ROMANCE and many more. (2008/MILITIA GROUP)

-----------------------------------------------------------
MASS GRAVE / IN DISGUST - Split 7'' 4.70 EUR

HARDCORE. Undoubtedly the grind split of the year. San Jose's IN DISGUST play a raw hybrid of Grind and Powerviolence, CROSSED OUT meets EXCRUCIATING TERROR. Five songs, including a EXCRUCIATING TERROR cover. Includes members of OUTRAGED, UZI SUICIDE and HOSTILE TAKEOVER. I'm sure if you listen to Grind or Crustcore, you've probably heard of MASS GRAVE by now. These giants (tallest band in existence) crank out 4 new songs of grinding crust. DISRUPT meets EXTREME NOISE TERROR. Recorded in the same session as the STORMCROW split LP, it's definately their best material to date. First press of 608 copies. (2008/MANGLED ANKLE)

-----------------------------------------------------------
MEASURE (SA), THE - Songs about people... and fruit n' shit LPcol 11.50 EUR

PUNK. On "Songs about people, ..." New Brunswick, NJ's The MEASURE (SA) continue to crank out melodic, upbeat Indie/Punk, following the formula they have already used on their countless splits and EPs, creating a sound comparable to FIFTH HOUR HERO or an amped up DISCOUNT. Eight cool songs all in all! (2008/DON GIOVANNI)

-----------------------------------------------------------
OUT COLD / FOR THE WORSE - Split 7'' 3.90 EUR

HARDCORE. One solid Boston Mass. Area massacre here for sure. Legendary OUT COLD have so many flawless records out already, enough to win the heavyweight title fight against any and all. There’s 3 great new ragers from them , in that classic OC way! FOR THE WORSE have been holding their own the last few years with plenty of records under their belt, and pulling no punches on this one either. Five fun and raging tunes by these dudes. (2008/EVEN WORSE)

-----------------------------------------------------------
PHOBIA - 22 random acts of violence CD 14.90 EUR

GRINDCORE. Vinyl version has been postponed to ???. PHOBIA from Orange are old fighting veterans who formed in 1990 and were always heavily influenced by Crust Punk and Grindcore. Unlike many Death/Grind bands, PHOBIA focus mainly on socio-political issues and left wing politics, rather than gore, sex and other sexual/violent taboos. (2008/WILLOWTIP)

-----------------------------------------------------------
PRODUCT OF WASTE - You wont take me alive CD 9.90 EUR

HARDCORE. Rhode Island's PRODUCT OF WASTE feature members of COLIN OF ARABIA and bring a fast, thrashy hardcore attack with plenty of anger, mosh parts and singalongs, all at a breakneck speed comparable to bands like CEREMONY and TRASH TALK, with some guitar solos thrown in for good measure. (2008/FREQUENCY DELETED)

-----------------------------------------------------------
PTL KLUB - 1984-1987 complete discography CD 9.90 EUR

HARDCORE-PUNK. The often overlooked early Boston, MA band, PTL KLUB, formed in 1984, a few years after the original wave of bands from the area, but brought their own fast, thrashing, ferocious Hardcore Punk sound that appeared on two 7"s and a full-length for Mystic Records and had the band opening up for GG ALLIN, THE FREEZE, JERRY'S KIDS, COC, CRO-MAGS, NECROS, AGRESSION and the CIRCLE JERKS. This CD compiles the "Psalm #7" demo from 1984, the "13 commandments" LP from 1985, a compilation track from 1986, both "Living death" 7"s from 1987 and the "Nobody cares anymore" 7" from 1987. (2008/WELFARE)

-----------------------------------------------------------
S.O.D. - Speak English or die CD 16.90 EUR

THRASH METAL. This special edtion of S.O.D.'s landmark album was released to celebrate the album reaching the million-sales mark worldwide and features 2 bonus studio tracks plus several bonus live tracks recorded in Tokyo in 1999. On this record, S.O.D. featured members of ANTHRAX and NUCLEAR ASSAULT and brought one of the most important crossover thrash metal/punk albums of all time. 30 songs! (2008/MEGAFORCE)

-----------------------------------------------------------
SHAKING HANDS, THE - Same LPcol 10.90 EUR

HARDCORE-PUNK. Formerly known as The HORROR, Gainesville, FL's The SHAKING HANDS feature members of YOUNG LIVERS and play a melodic style of punk and hardcore, with plenty of whoah-ohs and sing along choruses, bringing to mind AVAIL, The GASLIGHT ANTHEM and STRIKE ANYWHERE, while lyrically tackling social and political issues. (2008/KISS OF DEATH)

-----------------------------------------------------------
SIDETRACKED / DEAD RADICAL - Split LP 11.50 EUR

HARDCORE. If you're looking for sludgy 8-minute doom songs with two riffs, don't bother picking this record up. Short songs, and non stop changes. Tacoma's SIDETRACKED play Powerviolence with a modern Hardcore sound, sort of like if COUNT ME OUT listened to NO COMMENT a bit too much. 14
songs in just over 8 minutes including MINUTEMEN and PRONG covers. Scranton, Pennsylvania's DEAD RADICAL sound is undescribable, with 13 songs in under 9 minutes, including a DEAD KENNEDYS cover. All you can really say is that this is some raging fucking fastcore for sure. First press of 500. (2008/MANGLED ANKLE)

-----------------------------------------------------------
SOCIALCIDE - Unapproachble LP 9.90 EUR

HARDCORE. An absolute scorchin 12 song powerhouse here! All songs are fast paced high energy and action packed. After two great EP's, this is their very best yet! And a must for every HC fan. Great thing is you can't really compare it to anything. Maybe one could say that it was influenced by all early east coast stuff mixed with all out thrash, yet truly unique topics from personal frustration to drug abuse, SxE posers, friends, etc.... (2008/EVEN WORSE)

-----------------------------------------------------------
TIM BARRY - Manchester LP 14.90 EUR

SINGER/SONGWRITER. For those of you not familiar with Tim Barry, you may have heard of the band he has spent over 20 years playing with, AVAIL. Tim has gone through more this past year than most people have in a lifetime and "Manchester" really documents those experiences. "Manchester" features 12 songs which were recorded with Lance Koehler (who has recorded his other albums) and features many of the same players who have played on his past releases (most notably Josh Small and Caitlin Barry). Vinyl version includes code to download the entire album. (2008/SUBURBAN HOME)

-----------------------------------------------------------
TRAP THEM - Seizures in barren praise CD 10.90 EUR

HARDCORE. TRAP THEM are an absolutely brutal Metal, Hardcore, Punk band. Bringing to mind influences like ENTOMBED, NASUM, and even BLACK FLAG. Once again engineered by Kurt Ballou at Godcity Studios, "Seizures in barren praise" shows TRAP THEM at their most vicious. Having mastered the art of aural bludgeoning, the album musically rips, stomps, and claws forth with rabid emotion - all of this a fitting backdrop to Ryan McKenney’s lyrical stories of depression and pain. (2008/DEATHWISH)

-----------------------------------------------------------
TWO COW GARAGE - Speaking in cursive LPcol 14.90 EUR

ALTERNATIVE COUNTRY/ INDIEROCK. After releasing three albums and touring alongside DRAG THE RIVER, Columbus, OH's TWO COW GARAGE are back. Having received comparisons to bands like LUCERO and the DRIVE BY TRUCKERS, "Speaking In cursive" finds the band moving past their influences and finding their sound. (2008/SUBURBAN HOME)

-----------------------------------------------------------
VEGAS - Never CD 11.50 EUR

HARDCORE. VEGAS gave life to their artistic vision shortly after the dawn of the new millennium. With creative fires ignited by the physically confrontational nature of Japanese punks G.I.S.M. via the unrepentant early-'80s ferocity of bands like LIFE'S BLOOD and NEGATIVE APPROACH, the group channels their raw metallic attack through the intense apocalyptic tenets of the "holy terror" hardcore spearheaded in the '90s by the legendary INTEGRITY (whose enigmatic frontman Dwid joins forces with vocalist and lyricist T on "Rhythm of Decline"). (2008/FREQUENCY DELETED)

-----------------------------------------------------------
VIRGINS - Miscarriage LPcol 10.90 EUR

PUNK. Orlando, FL's VIRGINS feature Sam of NEW MEXICAN DISASTER SQUAD and while maintaining the pop/punk sound that NMDS perfected, VIRGINS throw in raw, snotty, classic punk elements of The STOOGES and the ADOLESCENTS. (2008/KISS OF DEATH)

-----------------------------------------------------------
WARSHIP - Supply and depend CD 12.90 EUR

METALCORE. WARSHIP is the brainchild of former FROM AUTUMN TO ASHES front man, Francis Mark, one of the founding members of the influential Long Island-based band considered on the front end of the "screaming/singing" music genre that took the world by storm at the beginning of the decade. This project takes a different turn, possibly being described as a Metalcore version of QUEENS OF THE STONE AGE with some STONE TEMPLE PILOTS thrown in for good measure. A few of the songs even have twinges of BIOLOGY, Mark's previous side project, thrown in as well. (2008/VAGRANT)

-----------------------------------------------------------
XDEATHSTARX - The triumph (Re-Release) CD 10.90 EUR

HARDCORE. XDEATHSTARX quickly made their mark on the Hardcore scene with the release of their debut Facedown album "We are the threat". Heavy, no holds barred attitude and music connected instantly with fans around the world and spread like wildfire. Originally released in 2004 on Life Sentence Records, "The triumph" was chock full of hardcore anthems that unfortunately have been out of print for the last few years. "The triumph" is now re-mixed, re-mastered and re-packaged with new artwork by Dave Quiggle (SICK OF IT ALL, BURY YOUR DEAD, ATREYU). (2008/FACEDOWN)
