ANTILLES / STAPH - Volume 3 - Split 7''col 4.90 EUR

SCREAMO-HARDCORE/POST-HARDCORE. Chicago, IL's STAPH and Ohio's ANTILLES meet up for the third and final volume of the first Inkblot Records split 7" series. Veteran band ANTILLES delivers three new short blasts of fast, aggresive '90s style Screamo with unique intensity. Over-the-top screamed vocals and buzzing, jangly guitar work saturate the first and third tracks while bass-driven, quieter nervous riffs prevail on the second instrumental song. STAPH rises from the ashes of the now defunct LION OF THE NORTH and play urgent and frenetic chaos mixed with darkly melodic Post-Hardcore. HARDCORE. Repress! Remastered and with 2 unreleased trax! A band whose name truly encapsulates their sound, EXTREME NOISE TERROR formed in January 1985 and were signed after their first ever gig. Their debut release was a split album with CHAOS U.K., and although there were musical similarities, ENT, along with NAPALM DEATH, were already in the process of twisting traditional Punk influences into altogether different shapes. All the conventions of crust are played out on this release: simple, punky riffs, fast D-Beat drumming, and shout/screeching vocals. S.O.D. - Speak English or die LP 16.90 EUR

THRASH METAL. "Speak english or die" was the first studio album by the crossover thrash band STORMTROOPERS OF DEATH (S.O.D.). After ANTHRAX finished recording "Spreading the disease," there still was some studio time left, so Scott Ian and Charlie Benante called some friends, practiced some songs and recorded it all within a week. It was released in 1985 and re-released on the Megaforce label in August 1995. Now available again on vinyl.
