The latest addition to the Anchors Aweigh Roster is DAGGERS. Hailing from Belgium, this four headed monster set out to leave nothing but ashes & dust. Their debut full-length "Along The Acheron" is a bastard of full speed aggression lurking in the gloom to prepare for the final blow. With their raw and pissed off sound they wrecked several stages all over Europe. With 2 years of existence Daggers is a relative young band, yet they know what they are aiming for. Each show more souls gather at these intense live performances and Daggers have already proven to be one of the most promising Belgian hardcore bands of the moment. After their first collaboration with Ben Philips they now recorded their first full length with him. This new record turned out to be also an uncompromising and pitch black piece of dark thoughts. It will tear down all false hope the world is feeding on. “Along the Acheron” will be released in august on the mighty “Anchor Aweigh Records”, sharing the roster with other killer bands like Tortuga, Dead Swans, More Than Life…With this release the band is ready to take the next step up, a life dedicated to being on the road throughout Europe. Ready to give their life and soul to this, Daggers will tour as much as possible to promote this monster.
