To all of our friends, fans and the people who are close to us:

After 8 wonderful years with about 400 shows, 3 cd´s and some samplers
the guys from Friends Suck are going to split in September.

This decision was really hard for us as the band meant a real good compensation of our allday life and we´ve experienced lots of good times together.

Unfortunately there´s sometimes not enough time in our lives to put the energy we would like to into our hobbies and responsabilities do not shrink by growing older. Having the highway as best friend on weekends is – besides of all the fun – a big strain you have to be able to handle.
Meyer and Skovi have decided to break up from the band to be able to face other challenges of life.
As Friends Suck can only consist of the known members in our point of view there can be no subsitute.

In the many beautiful moments we´ve had on tour one cannot imagine how it would be like not to stand on stages anymore, experiencing the „fame“ and the never ending free beverage. Still there is a point in life at which we must realize that we cannot follow 2 or 3 things parallely at 150 percent. Then you´ve got to take the decision which way to follow and this decision is never easy.

We will not go away without letting you know what you mean to us. We will be playing our confirmed shows till July, take a little off-time and play our last show in September in the Predigerkeller, Erfurt. We are looking forward to see you there!

We want to thank everyone who has shared our way in this phantastic last 8 years especcially the guys of Fatsound for their big support. We are thankful for the support of all of the bands we´ve played with and of all guys who have booked us. Without all of you guys it would not have been such a great time. Thanks to all of you guys who have always been against us, too. You have given us the inspiration to stay alive.
