HARDCORE. Originally released on CD from SOA Records a year or so ago, this album was too damn good not to be on vinyl. 12 songs in under 10 minutes here, all killer, no filler. From Italy, these guys take cues from early US and Italian HC and end up merging the two styles in a whirlwind of sonic fury. If you enjoyed their one-sided EP "Pig city life", you'll definetly shit a brick over this one. Look out for a track on the next NO BULLSHIT

HARDCORE-PUNK. Formed in 1982 in Lansing, Michigan, BLIGTH was created in the wake of another great band's demise - THE FIX, one of the earliest bands of the Midwest hardcore scene. Two of its members, Steve Miller (guitar) and Mike Achtenberg (bass) met head on with Tesco Vee - lead throat and ringleader of the legendary MEATMEN. With the addition of Pat Clark on drums, the band was complete, and ready to dive headlong into its short and fiery existence. But we at P.Trash would never fool you with a half-assed release and what you get here is the stripped down and naked truth of what this band is all about and why everybody goes apeshit to their sound. On one side there's the three berserkers "Do it right", "Fix my head with a knife", Dean Dirg's bored" plus a funny lil' intermezzo all recorded live in Mannheim in perfect sound quality. The 5 songs on the other side are the first songs the band recorded after the release of their first 10inch "9 refreshing ways…" as demo-versions for the "s/t" 12inch. After the release of that record, that band decided that these versions here sound so much better than the ones that found their way on vinyl and so, what you can hear are rougher and dirtier varieties of "Rock out", "Our laugh's on you", "Punk Punk", "Cholesterol attack" and "Chartbreaker Ha Ha Ha" that finally see the light of day. DIGITAL LEATHER - Closed my eyes 7'' 4.50 EUR
PUNK. To give Shawn Foree and his new band DIGITAL LEATHER a heartly welcome to Europe again, P.Trash and FDH Records dug out this wonderful display of synthesized Punk spasticity, that originally was released in 2007 by Disordered Records in a limited run of only 250 copies, and re-press it now. ''Closed my eyes'' and ''Frown'' were also on the band's ''Blow-Machine'' LP, but the version herein are way harder, rougher and better. On these two songs, frightening synthesizers and undercooled vocals create a mood that sounds like if San Francisco's SCREAMER and SUICIDE would be meeting in a darkroom for some fast and anonymous action. The unreleased ''Plane'' could be compared to a punkier version of WARSAW while the super-catchy tune ''Photo-lie'' fills every dancefloor with its positive elements of HUMAN LEAGUE crossed with an overdose of noisy Electro-Punk. MANIKINS, THE - Crocodiles DigiCD 12.90 EUR
PUNK. Releasedate vinyl 30.05.2008. Though the MANIKINS may have grown-up, they didn't feed their catchy bite to the crocodiles. On their already fourth album, the four Swedes definitely go sweeter and wear their hearts on their sleeves in a perfect blend of Punkrock and Power-Pop that still carries the typical MANIKINS guitars but gained a mouthful of smoothness and feeling. Don't worry, the boys didn't mellow-out and you still get faster tunes like the opener "That train", the title-track "Crocodiles" or "Taste for sweets" that are so unmistakably MANIKINS. But especially the slower pieces are the real meat here. "If I see you cry" and "I want my baby dead" are full of sweet bitterness and seem to come straight from any 60's Teen-Punk compilation, the harmonic mid-tempo songs "Countless nights", "Without a word", "You're bad when you want to" and "It's not the wind you hear" remind of a more insurgent, yet in no way less sugary version of their countrymen THE LOST PATROL BAND and in the heartbreaking "Losi
n' streak", "Hangin' from a noose" and "She speaks perfect French" you even get BOBBY FULLER style vocal- and guitar harmonies and castanets in the fills. Brilliant! The MANIKINS dared to go step further and once more set a landmark in the little mundo punko with this new record that will shake your heart and legs!!! (2008/P. TRASH)

HARDCORE. A re-issue of the rare 1986 LP by a Richmond hardcore band called UNSEEN FORCE. They recorded one LP, played tons of shows, toured the USA in 1986, then broke up. This CD has the original LP sessions from ‘86, a live ‘86 radioshow set, and demos from the pre-UNSEEN FORCE band called 2000 MANIACS from 1984 (35 songs total!). The band featured Dewey, who played in WHITE CROSS & GWAR. It also featured Greta Brinkman, who was in the 'American Hardcore' movie (the ONLY female musician interviewed in the movie), and she went on to help start 4 WALLS FALLING, as well as played with L7, DEBBY HARRY and was the touring bass player for MOBY, as

To give Shawn Foree and his new band DIGITAL LEATHER a heartly welcome to Europe again, P.Trash and FDH Records dug out this wonderful display of synthesized Punk spasticity, that originally was released in 2007 by Disordered Records in a limited run of only 250 copies, and re-press it now. ''Closed my eyes'' and ''Frown'' were also on the band's ''Blow-Machine'' LP, but the version herein are way harder, rougher and better. On these two songs, frightening synthesizers and undercooled vocals create a mood that sounds like if San Francisco's SCREAMER and SUICIDE would be meeting in a darkroom for some fast and anonymous action. The unreleased ''Plane'' could be compared to a punkier version of WARSAW while the super-catchy tune ''Photo-lie'' fills every dancefloor with its positive elements of HUMAN LEAGUE crossed with an overdose of noisy Electro-Punk. PUNK. Releasedate vinyl 30.05.2008. Though the MANIKINS may have grown-up, they didn't feed their catchy bite to the crocodiles. On their already fourth album, the four Swedes definitely go sweeter and wear their hearts on their sleeves in a perfect blend of Punkrock and Power-Pop that still carries the typical MANIKINS guitars but gained a mouthful of smoothness and feeling. Don't worry, the boys didn't mellow-out and you still get faster tunes like the opener "That train", the title-track "Crocodiles" or "Taste for sweets" that are so unmistakably MANIKINS. But especially the slower pieces are the real meat here. "If I see you cry" and "I want my baby dead" are full of sweet bitterness and seem to come straight from any 60's Teen-Punk compilation, the harmonic mid-tempo songs "Countless nights", "Without a word", "You're bad when you want to" and "It's not the wind you hear" remind of a more insurgent, yet in no way less sugary version of their countrymen THE LOST PATROL BAND and in the heartbreaking "Losi
n' streak", "Hangin' from a noose" and "She speaks perfect French" you even get BOBBY FULLER style vocal- and guitar harmonies and castanets in the fills. Brilliant! HARDCORE. A re-issue of the rare 1986 LP by a Richmond hardcore band called UNSEEN FORCE. They recorded one LP, played tons of shows, toured the USA in 1986, then broke up. This CD has the original LP sessions from ‘86, a live ‘86 radioshow set, and demos from the pre-UNSEEN FORCE band called 2000 MANIACS from 1984 (35 songs total!). The band featured Dewey, who played in WHITE CROSS & GWAR. It also featured Greta Brinkman, who was in the 'American Hardcore' movie (the ONLY female musician interviewed in the movie), and she went on to help start 4 WALLS FALLING, as well as played with L7, DEBBY HARRY and was the touring bass player for MOBY, as
