Most people have started working again or started another year at school and this period always feels kinda like a ‘new’ start, and what better way to start it with the announcement of the following news:
ONLY LIVING WITNESS – Prone Mortal Form/Innocents 2LP. Pre-order now!
Only Living Witness was a band that existed from 1989 until 1995 and were one of the originators in combining brutal hardcore and metal riffs with melodic vocals and having a totally original independent/punk ‘feel’ in their music. In the band’s existence they recorded 2 singles and 2 full length albums on Century Media Records. Even though the band never really reached that ‘break through’ moment their two albums “Prone Mortal Form” and “Innocents” are now to be considered absolute classics in the metal/hardcore scene.
Final Reunion show, August 30, 2008
Led by the one and only Jonah Jenkins, who went on to front Milligram and Miltown the band will play one final reunion show at the Loud From The South festival in The Netherlands on August 30, 2008 with a.o. TRASH TALK 's debut LP delves deeper into the abyss surrounding their last chaotic release. Recorded in just under 2 days at Chicago's Electrical Audio and employing the genius of Steve Albini (Nirvana, The Pixies, Neurosis), TRASH TALK has continued to push the envelope of extreme music. Grinding guitars paired with heavy yet somber bass lines provide the battlefield for harsh dueling vocals to wage war over 12 instant classics.
