We haven't thought it's going to happen, especially not under these circumstances, but after a 6 year long break, Newborn, one of the most prominent bands of the Hungarian hardcore scene will reunite for a short benefit show. Members went on to form The Idoru and Bridge To Solace, the goal of their reunion is noble: a close friend of Newborn as well as all the other bands playing that night, Tamas Fekete is gravely ill and to the request of his family, we would like to express our respect and love for him as well as gather up money for a really expensive stem-cell therapy that can have a major impact on Tom's recovery.

„When seeing Tom the last couple times, he kept talking about Newborn so we thought if we would ever get on stage again, it would be for some definite dgoal.

This is the least we can do, as Newborn would never be the band if we wouldn't have had friends like him next to us throughout the years"

Besides Newborn, all the prominent hardcore bands of the Hungarian scene (Fallenintoashes, Hold X True, Penalty Kick, Zero Tolerance, Spadeful Of Dust) will play as well as a reunion of both Burning Inside and The Taktika will hit the stage.

The entrance for the show is 5 euros, every extra donation is welcome by the family.

alter hut....hatteschon vor 3wochen gefragt wer mitfliegt...allein iss doof...und nu iss zu kurzfristig...

dafürgehts dann wenigstens nach chicago im april 2009

Laut greg von TRIAL soll das im april zu hundert prozent in chicago steigen...und noch andere bands außer DISEMBODIED,UNBROKEN,UNDERTOW dazu... :P wann genau iss noch nicht raus..hoffe man bekommt das genaue date bald...

viel trara um ne Mogelpackung
spielen wenigstens Undertow in Originalbesetzung oder wird das ein "Coverband"-Abend?

bei der undertow reuinion vor ein paar jahren war es wohl 100% original - was jetzt keine antwort auf deine frage ist - was aber egal ist weil in deiner frage ja auch nur der neid des alten mannes versteckt war.
