16 - Bridges to burn LP/CD 13.50/13.50 EUR
SLUDGE/HARDCORE. 16 just won't die despite drug and alcohol abuse, a revolving door of members and the general misery of the individuals involved. "Bridges to burn" marks the 16th anniversary of the band and features the line-up from their classic 1996 "Drop out" record, providing another dozen tunes of pounding sludge that mixes the sound of bands like HELMET, UNSANE, MELVINS, DYSTOPIA and EYEHATEGOD. (2009/RELAPSE)
-----------------------------------------------------------
97-SHIKI - Same 7'' 4.50 EUR
PUNK. 97-SHIKI play loud, weird, frantic, angular underground Rock/Punk/Hardcore music sounding like a mashup of their previous bands HEWHOCORRUPTS, KUNG FU RICK, FOURTH ROTOR and KILL SADIE to name a few, somehow creating a more modern final product that mixes the styles of DEVO, THE EX and NO MEANS NO. Spastic stuff wrapped in a very nice jacket! (2009/HEWHOCRRUPTS INC)
-----------------------------------------------------------
A HOPE FOR HOME - The everlasting man CD 9.90 EUR
POST-HARDCORE. Portland's A HOPE FOR HOME second album following 2007's "Here, the end". What began as an emotional outlet for a group of friends during a season of loss has blossomed into a dedicated project that finds them on the road supporting their newest album "The everlasting man". A concept based off of G.K. Chesterton’s novel of the same name, "The everlasting man" tells the story of mankind’s fall and awaiting redemption. (2008/STRIKE FIRST)
-----------------------------------------------------------
ABACABB - Survivalist CD 11.90 EUR
METALCORE. On their Sumerian Records debut, Washington, DC's ABACABB bring heavy, down-tuned Metalcore that seems to go from slow breakdowns to slower breakdowns, only pausing for an occasional blast beat with virtually no melody at all, best being compared to bands like BURY YOUR DEAD and EMMURE. Having toured with bands like AFTER THE BURIAL, VEIL OF MAYA, BENEATH THE MASSACRE and more, they have plenty of momentum going into their first record. (2009/SUMERIAN)
-----------------------------------------------------------
ANDREW JACKSON JIHAD - Only god can judge 10''col 10.90 EUR
PUNK-SINGER/SONGWRITER. For those unfamilar, ANDREW JACKSON JIHAD are a two-man "folk-punk" group consisting of acoustic guitar and standup bass. Following the trend of the album title, their most recent full-length contained songs about the most strange, yet extremely interesting topics. Lyrics about death, racism and other sometimes untouchable things juxtaposed with jangling feel-good folk jams that sometimes can be compared to the YOUNG PIONEERS. As for ''Only God Can Judge Me'' it just adds more points onto the band's already successful scoreboard. Limited to 500 copies! (2009/ASIAN MAN)
-----------------------------------------------------------
BEASTIE BOYS - The way we were (Live at the A7 Club NYC 1982) LP 12.50 EUR
HARDCORE. Limited to 300 copies! This is BEASTIE BOYS pre- ''Licensed to ill''-era (when they were still doing their own kind of Hardcore) caught live and totally fucked up. All the classics from the first "Polliwog stew" 7" plus a bunch of never heard before hits. (2009/RATCAGE)
-----------------------------------------------------------
BLACK COBRA - Same 7'' 6.50 EUR
DOOM-HARDCORE. These are the songs that started BLACK COBRA's worldwide assault. The "Interceptor" 3-song EP was originally self-released by the band, and was released on 7" by Germany's Black Flash Recordings as well. Both of these previous versions are now out of print. This version features all new cover art and is a glimpse into the origins of the band's SAVIOURS-meets-CURSED sound. (2009/AT A LOSS)
-----------------------------------------------------------
BLATZ / FILTH - Shit split LP/DoCD 9.90/13.50 EUR
PUNK. Originally released in 1991 by Lookout! Records, the "Shit split" captured two of the East Bay's most volatile Punkrock bands, who were mainstays at the then fledgling 924 Gilman St. Project. BLATZ (featuring members of the GRUPS, THE CRIMINALS, DEAD AND GONE and SUBINCISION) took a raucus, slightly more melodic sound mashed with hair raising male and female vocals, while FILTH, formed out of the ashes of ISOCRACY, THE VAGRANS and CRIMPSHRINE, featured razor-gargling vocals over harsh buzzsaw guitars. The LP contains the original version of the "Shit split" while the double-CD version contains the split, plus all records released by each band. (2008/ALTERNATIVE TENTACLES)
-----------------------------------------------------------
CHEAP TRAGEDIES - Volume 1: Souvenirs and evidence LP 12.50 EUR
HARDCORE. Following hot on the heels of 7"s on Livewire Records and High Anxiety 416, CHEAP TRAGEDIES waste no time in dropping an absolute rager of an LP. Comprised of some well-seasoned Cleveland veterans, including a maniacal Tony Erba delivering his best vocal performance ever, they tear through 12 tracks of amped up, Hardcore with a good twist of rolling Punk-Rock on their debut "Volume 1: Souvenirs and evidence" the way only Cleveland miscreants can. Recorded by Bill Korecky at Mars Studio (FACE VALUE, INTEGRITY, 9 SHOCKS TERROR, TERROR, etc), the sound is incendiary and justifies their reputation as "Hardcore arena rock destroyers". First press of 1000 packaged in a sick gatefold sleeve. (2009/MAD AT THE WORLD)
-----------------------------------------------------------
CONTROL DE ESTADO - Ladron 7'' 3.90 EUR
HARDCORE-PUNK. The third release from this Tampa area blazing raw Hardcore-Punk band CONTROL DE ESTADO. Take some CRUDOS and DROP DEAD, and throw in some D-Beat with great lyrics covering hypocritical society and imperialism. The packaging is a screenprinted 6 panel foldout with a poster on one side. Plus it’s all made from waste paper and the cover sticker is screend on waste vinyl. (2009/IFB)
-----------------------------------------------------------
DEADLOCK - Manifesto DigiCD 13.90 EUR
METALCORE. Expanding on the popular style of punishing and melodic Scandinavian-inspired Metal, Berlin's DEADLOCK throw in haunting, melodic female vocals and guitar harmonizing to break up the assault that still never loses its ferocity despite a constant changing of moods. (2009/LIFEFORCE)
-----------------------------------------------------------
DISCO ASSAULT - Saturday night bleeder 7'' 4.70 EUR
HARDCORE-PUNK. DISCO ASSAULT is an up and coming new band from Windsor and their fine 5 song debut "Saturday night bleeder" is a catchy disc that sound like a raw mix of early '82 Hardcore- think D.O.A. jamming with NEGATIVE APPROACH. A savage mix of Hardcore, melody and OI!. Fast, in your face and a menace on the dance floor that doesn't fit so well with the jocks and trendoids of today. Limited run of 700 records. (2009/SCHIZOPHRENIC)
-----------------------------------------------------------
EAT AND RUN - American slob 7'' 4.20 EUR
HARDCORE. EAT AND RUN is a skatecore band out of Connecticut that brings fast and catchy songs about hating work, school and trends, but loving skateboarding. You get the picture! Eight thrashing songs! (2009/KILL SHOCK)
-----------------------------------------------------------
EVACUATE - Same CD 13.50 EUR
HARDCORE-PUNK. Formed out of the ashes of notorious Hardcore-Punk bands The VIRUS, CHEAP SEX and The LAB RATS, Southern California band EVACUTE has caught the attention of fans worldwide since their formation in 2007. With a wide variety of influences such as MINOR THREAT, GBH, SLAPSHOT and the SEX PISTOLS, EVACUTE provides its own unique delivery providing the listener with the immediacy that the band is so determined to get across. (2009/TAANG!)
-----------------------------------------------------------
FAKE PROBLEMS - The dream team / Rumble in the jungle 7'' 4.50 EUR
HARDCORE. The A-side of this 7" features "The Dream Team," the first single from FAKE PROBLEMS new full-length album "It's Great To Be Alive," due out February 17, 2009 on Side One Dummy Records. The B-side features the non-album track "Rumble In The Jungle." The band will be on tour in February and March supporting MURDER BY DEATH. (2009/SIDE ONE DUMMY)
-----------------------------------------------------------
FOR THE WORSE / ENEMIES FOR LIFE - Split 7'' 3.90 EUR
HARDCORE. The maniacs are back, FOR THE WORSE team up with fellow Massholes ENEMIES FOR LIFE on this split. FOR THE WORSE are influenced by older Boston Hardcore bands like SLAPSHOT mixed with Oi!/Punk! bands like The BRUISERS. Formed in early 2003 they have released records on Bridge Nine, Kangeroo, Even Worse, Rodent Popsicle, and FNS. ENEMIES FOR LIFE play short, fast, and downright mean hardcore influcenced by old style Boston hardcore bands like NEGATIVE FX and early JERRY'S KIDS. (2009/TOURIST TRAP)
-----------------------------------------------------------
KEVIN SECONDS & HIS GHETTO MOMENTS - Rise up, insomniacs! LP 10.90 EUR
PUNK. Kevin Seconds is the lead singer of 7 SECONDS, but his latest work is a sonic 180 degree turn from the legendary punk band. Led by Kevin and backed up by his band GHETTO MOMENTS, "Rise up, insomniacs!" is a brilliantly restrained and thoughtful album. Often amusing and completely endearing, it takes a look at even the most depressing subject matter, and smiles right along. (2009/ASIAN MAN)
-----------------------------------------------------------
KILLS AND THRILLS - Showstopper MCD 5.90 EUR
POST-HARDCORE. Since their formation in 2005, Long Island, NY's KILLS AND THRILLS have worked tirelessly to lay the groundwork on which their band would grow upon. KILLS AND THRILLS set out with the idea to make music that creates a new and refreshing sound by combining aggressive, yet melodic, guitar and vocal work with underlying ambient atmospheres. With the upcoming re-release of their debut EP entitled "Showstopper" on Hotfoot Records, recorded by Mike Watts (The Chariot, Hopesfall), KILLS AND THRILLS are determined to work hard to reach as many people as possible with their music. Long Island's prime answer to UNDEROATH! (2009/HOTFOOT)
-----------------------------------------------------------
KNUSTE RUTER - Var det bare en logn 7'' 3.90 EUR
HARDCORE-PUNK. "KNUSTE RUTER" means "Broken windows"... those into Norwegian Hardcore Punk will get the joke, are you? KNUSTE RUTER are a fresh new Band from Oslo, norway paying homage to their ancestors such as STENGTE DÖRER, SO MUCH HATE, KAFKA PROCESS and that lot. Actually you could say STENGTE DÖRER are reborn with this release and this will please everyone into '80s Norwegian Hardcore-Punk, the old-school as well as the younger one. 6 Tracks of raging, diverse and full onward punkrock with the "special something" innit and performed by members of SUMMON THE CROWS, HEVN and 2:20... get this! (2009/DIY)
-----------------------------------------------------------
LET ME RUN - Meet me at the bottom CD 12.90 EUR
PUNK. New Jersey's LET ME RUN continue the current trend of melodic, rockin' Punk coming out of the Garden State, building upon the sound of bands like The GASLIGHT ANTHEM and STATIC RADIO NJ, while also bringing to mind other non-Jersey bands like HOT WATER MUSIC, POLAR BEAR CLUB and JAWBREAKER. (2009/XOXO)
-----------------------------------------------------------
LOVER! - Let's play a game 7'' 4.90 EUR
GARAGE-ROCK. More catchy Psych-Pop-Weirdness from Rich Crook of LOST SOUNDS, KNAUGHTY KNIGHTS, REATARDS fame. Spacy Pop-Punk with great guitar effects and lots of melodies and style. (2009/RED LOUNGE)
-----------------------------------------------------------
MATT SKIBA / KEVIN SECONDS - Split LPcol 10.90 EUR
SINGER/SONGWRITER. Re-issue of this split release that has been out of print for nearly seven years now. MATT SKIBA from The ALKALINE TRIO and KEVIN SECONDS from 7 SECONDS with 5 songs from each artist. Both Matt and Kevin play all the instruments on their recordings - extremely heartfelt music that will have you singing along instantly. This is limited to 2,000 copies. (2009/ASIAN MAN)
-----------------------------------------------------------
MINNOW - Thirteen wrongs CD 11.90 EUR
POST-ROCK. Rob Pennington, former frontman of ENDPOINT, BY THE GRACE OF GOD and BLACK CROSS, along with his wife, Becca Lindsay, present MINNOW, which features Pennington's unmistakable vocal style over an Indierock and Emo-influenced sound. (2009/NOISE POLLUTION)
-----------------------------------------------------------
MINSK - Out of a center which is neither dead nor alive DoLP 21.90 EUR
PSYCHEDELIC-ROCK/DOOM. MINSK combines a sonic onslaught of DIRGE-like walls of doom and metal with HAWKWIND and JETHRO TULL inspired 1970's Psychedelic Rock and tribal elements reminiscent of DEAD
CAN DANCE. The vocals range from soulful singing, to three and four part anthemic arrangements, to barbaric screams. The result is a dynamic and emotional piece of sensory overload that has been compared to NEUROSIS, MASTODON, CULT OF LUNA, ENTOMBED and ACID BATH. (2009/AT A LOSS)
-----------------------------------------------------------
NARSAAK - Prasina 7'' 3.90 EUR
HARDCORE. NARSAAK are back with this 6 song EP. They play melody driven Scandinavian Hardcore long before WOLFPACK and long before TRAGEDY turned a million americanised trendhoppers onto that stuff. All their records are great musically and the lyrics will frequently make your blood freeze. Their singer is from Bosnia originally, that´s why many of their songs are in Serbo-Croatian, which is one of the most brutal sounding languages for a Hardcore band, well besides Finnish maybe. (2008/THOUGHT CRIME)
-----------------------------------------------------------
NAZI DEATH CAMP - It's war time, baby 7'' 4.90 EUR
PUNK. Our Favorite Finnish Über-Punkers are at it again!! This time really showing their way cool record collections DID have an influence on them, not just the Finnish moonshiner! "It's war time, baby" steps off the gas a little and adds a SAX...what a song! Also includes "The boy who's head exploded", "Yuppies" and the national anthem for all you ''Go-home-alone- late-at-nighters''...cause who's gonna take you home and kiss ya goodnight??...yeah of course.."CHEESEBURGER"! (2009/RED LOUNGE)
-----------------------------------------------------------
NAZI DEATH CAMP - Satan sez "Kill!" 7'' 4.90 EUR
PUNK. Four hits to make you sell your soul to Satan for! But no sweat..NDC did it already for you! "Satan Sez Kill", "Abortion Clinic Boogie", "This is the Planet of the Apes" and "Ankee Aamu". Hey we are shelling these rekkids out as fast as we can. Don't hate us if they aren't all there for the tour! (2009/RED LOUNGE)
-----------------------------------------------------------
NAZI DEATH CAMP / ROYAL TURDS - Split 7'' 4.90 EUR
PUNK. The Mongoloid Road Show is comming to town. And they bring along this goodie: NDC with their finest mid-tempo moment "Who's got the biggest balls in town" and even so it sounds like a balls song it's about contemplated suicide...a Radio Dixigas Favorite of 2008!!! THE ROYAL TURDS come with the Kraut dancer ''Bedsheet Blitzkrieg''. Come On everybody..Let's dance ze Autobahn!!! (2009/RED LOUNGE)
-----------------------------------------------------------
NEUROOT - Macht kaput was Euch kaput macht LP 10.50 EUR
HARDCORE-PUNK. Hollands most controversial punkband!!! NEUROOT's "Macht kaput, was Euch kaput macht" contains the original 1983 demo, remastered from the original tapes and packaged in a fancy gatefold with original artwork. NEUROOT existed roughly from 1981 to 1987, there's not a lot known about them, the music speaks for itself: hard edge, rough, radical and very political. Words associated with the band: trouble, riots, uproar and upheavel. They fought the law and disappeared. This is the first in a series of three LP re-releases that combine all NEUROOT’s studio recordings. (2009/COALITION)
-----------------------------------------------------------
PANACEA - Same LP 9.90 EUR
CRUST-HARDCORE. Another great band from eastern Poland. On the one hand it's a perfect mix of Spanish Crust like EKKAIA or MADAME GERMEN on the other it sounds like FUNERAL DINER or early FALL OF EFRAFA. Expect everything from slow, dark emotional parts to head on D-Beat tempos. Melancholic and powerful. (2009/SADNESS OF NOISE)
-----------------------------------------------------------
PISSCHRIST - Victims of faith LP 9.90 EUR
CRUST-HARDCORE. Another full-lengh of earsplitting D-Beat Crustcore from Melbourne. Hands down, doing D-Beat is nothing new and so far i cannot see a progress to their previous LP or 7"s but what makes this band so outstanding is their blistering live performances with their manic vocalist and the hard driving full-throttle Crust sound machine in his back! This is captured now on this 12" and I can say it's a steamroller of pure energetic D-Beat Punk to the maximum! Good one! (2009/YELLOW DOG)
-----------------------------------------------------------
RED MASS - Same LP 10.50 EUR
BLUES-PUNK. Absolutely killer 45 rpm 12" debut by a Montreal collective led and masterminded by CHOYCE (aka - Roy Vucino, formerly of CPC GANGBANGS, LES SEXAREENOS, DAYLIGHT LOVERS and LES ENFANTS SAUVAGES, just to name a few of his many groups). Brewing for several years prior to CPC GANGBANGS untimely demise, RED MASS delivers on the promise of the GANGBANGS artier and more progressive moments without losing one ounce of the ferocity or catchiness they were known for. This might very well be the best thing we've heard to date from CHOYCE, but its only the beginning. The scope and potential of RED MASS is enormous. We are really excited about this release, as it co-insides with a RED MASS 7"s that are being released by Solid Sex Lovie Doll and Goodbye Boozy Records in a moment. These songs offer a brief, exhilarating glimpse of their vision!!! (2009/PSYCHIC HANDSHAKE)
-----------------------------------------------------------
ROYAL TURDS - The secret record society LP 11.50 EUR
PUNK. Power-Pop-Organ-Punk from the Ex-REAL TURDS guys. Dancing Shit on the fun side of life. Orgel Garage Pop, file under OBLIVIANS, REATARDS, germans legend TRIO and a pinch of RAMONES!!! Singer is fatter than Mick Jagger! Guitarplayer got less hair than Joey Ramone! Bonafied Black Metal Bass Player! Organplayer is gay all day! Drummer gets pimped out by his gal on the weekends! Line-up now features Black Metal Legend Martin Rafoss and Afroboy from the CRACKBRAINED SERENADERS. Comes in ultra deluxe gatefold sleeve!! Artwork by Ray from the HARD-ONS!! (2009/RED LOUNGE)
-----------------------------------------------------------
RUMPELSTILTSKIN GRINDER - Living for death, destroying the rest LPcol/CD 13.50/12.90 EUR
GRINDCORE. The GRINDER helped kick-start the old-school Thrashmetal revival inspired by the love for beer, partying and gore. On their second full-length they continue along those lines, bringing blistering Thrash comparable to MUNICIPLE WASTE, EXODUS and TOXIC HOLOCAUST. (2009/RELAPSE)
-----------------------------------------------------------
RUNNAMUCKS - Clawing back LP 9.50 EUR
HARDCORE-PUNK. RUNNAMUCKS combine the speed of early '80s Boston Hardcore bands like JERRY'S KIDS and The FREEZE with the nasty Rock of the STOOGES and MC5. With a powerful production (self produced by the band), huge riffs and great songwriting, only one band in America can forge such a lethal dose of Rock and Punk and that's the RUNNAMUCKS! (2008/SIX WEEKS)
-----------------------------------------------------------
SUDDEN WALKS - Haulin ass gettin paid 7'' 4.90 EUR
PUNK. The first combo we dragged on shore of Trashy Island in the new year is Connecticut's young perturbators SUDDEN WALKS with their second EP ''Haulin' ass gettin' paid'', a real live wire with four new tracks that exude the same seeking and sick atmosphere as early REATARDS recordings. Just listen to the thrown-up teenage hymn ''You're so blank'' and you know what we mean. Also if you find pleasure in the distorted musical orgies of the RETAINERS, the FATALS or LIVE FAST DIE you just won't manage to resist songs like ''Do you feel so dead'' and ''Please don't go''. In the slower ''She keeps me depraved'' you can even hear the desperate call of the COMPULSIVE GAMBLERS before the song finally comes to a fast and wrecking end. You know, these four youngsters love to destroy the peace in their neighbourhood just a bit too much to keep it slow! So haul your ass out of your easy chair and get this one! (2009/P. TRASH)
-----------------------------------------------------------
SWAMP THING - In shame CD 10.90 EUR
HARDCORE-PUNK. Vinyl available ca. 30.01.2009. While the 13 songs SWAMP THING unleash on "In shame" clock in at just under 20 minutes, it’s enough to lay waste to the competition. In an era of rehashed ideas and artificial anger, SWAMP THING bring about something genuine and hold no emotions back. Whether it’s about flipping the middle finger to the big guy in the sky in “Hiding” or attacking the corporate machine in “Stepping Stones,” Robert’s lyrics give a voice to a lost generation that has been neglected and overlooked for far too long. Despite their age barely breaking the 20-year mark, SWAMP THING has found a way to mix their rampant anger and youthful passion with an equally powerful wave of music. Never has a group so young proved to be such a threat. "In shame'' will not only put them atop Richmond’s Hardcore throne, but will put them in line to conquer the world. (2009/6131)
-----------------------------------------------------------
THIS WILL DESTROY YOU / LYMBYC SYSTYM - Field studies (Split) CD 10.90 EUR
INSTRUMENTAL/POST-ROCK. Releasedate for Vinyl is 24.03.2009. Good friends THIS WILL DESTROY YOU and LYMBYC SYSTYM continue to distance themselves from the hordes of instrumental and post-rock bands saturating the world, with THIS WILL DESTROY YOU providing two tracks that continue with their dreamy sound loosely inspired by EXPLOSIONS IN THE SKY and LYMBYC SYSTYM bringing three tracks with more of an electric base, slightly resembling The Album Leaf. (2009/MAGIC BULLET)
-----------------------------------------------------------
TODAY AND EVERYTHING AFTER - Taea 7'' 3.50 EUR
HARDCORE. Virginia Hardcore with harsh vocals, pounding breakdowns and tons of raw passion. Think CAST ASIDE meets RIGHTEOUS JAMS at a 100 DEMONS show. After releasing an 8-song MCD and a full-length, TODAY AND EVERY THING AFTER (aka TAEA) is out with their first piece of vinyl. This 7inch is strictly a one time pressing of 700 copies. (2009/STATE OF MIND)
-----------------------------------------------------------
TONIGHT IS GLORY - The vision and reality CD 11.90 EUR
HARDCORE. TONIGHT IS GLORY have been making noise in their hometown of El Paso, TX through sharing stages with ALESANA, THE DEVIL WEARS PRADA, BEFORE THEIR EYES, GREELY ESTATES, ESCAPE THE FATE and more, honing a sound that mixes bombastic breakdowns and delicate melodic sensibility. (2009/STANDBY)
-----------------------------------------------------------
UNDERNEATH THE GUN - Forfeit misfortunes CD 10.90 EUR
HARDCORE/DEATH METAL. UNDERNEATH THE GUN delivers intense Death Metal influenced Hardcore. While their speedy and dexterous instrument gymnastics ignite firestorms in the mosh pit, the message behind the fury is one of love, hope and compassion. (2009/FERRET)
-----------------------------------------------------------
WE NEED TO TALK - It’s not us, it’s you 7''col 3.90 EUR
HARDCORE. Raging pissed Hardcore that goes from grinding assault to pulverizing heaviness. Sounds like SCROTUM GRINDER and LEFT FOR DEAD had five children and sent them to live in the grimy swamps of Louisiana. Has a gorgeous letter pressed cover with a nice big booklet. 9 songs! (2009/IFB)
-----------------------------------------------------------
WOMEN - Same 7'' 4.90 EUR
HARDCORE-PUNK. Debut 6-song EP gem from Philly's own WOMEN. A breed of Punk that draws from early UK-Punk, as well as from Rip off Records style garage and early '80s Hardcore. Somehow reminds of SCARED OF CHAKA at times. (2008/FDH)

HARDCORE-PUNK. Formed out of the ashes of notorious Hardcore-Punk bands The VIRUS, CHEAP SEX and The LAB RATS, Southern California band EVACUTE has caught the attention of fans worldwide since their formation in 2007.
(2009/XOXO)

-----------------------------------------------------------
MATT SKIBA / KEVIN SECONDS - Split LPcol 10.90 EUR

(2008/FDH)
