ADULT CRASH - Photographs by Dave Brown BOOK + 7'' 13.90 EUR
This book compiles two decades of photographs from Dave Brown, a local fixture at shows in the Baltimore, MD and Washington, DC area. Along with tons of photos, this book also includes anecdotes about surviving the "adult crash" from John Joseph, Walter Schreifels, Paul Bearer, Brian Walsby, Eric Ozenne, Rick Ta Life, Tim McMahon and more. Plus, a 7" is included featuring DOWN TO NOTHING, KILL YOUR IDOLS, The SLUMLORDS and CLOAK/DAGGER.

-----------------------------------------------------------
1618 - From this day forward CD 13.90 EUR

METALCORE. Featuring members of FALL SILENT, Reno, NV locals 1618 play heavy, metallic hardcore that takes influence from mid-'90s Life Sentence Records bands as well as forward-thinking bands like REFUSED and mixes in some melodic moments a la POISON THE WELL. (2009/RETRIBUTION NETWORK)

-----------------------------------------------------------
ARSONISTS GET ALL THE GIRLS - Hits from the bow CD 12.90 EUR

METALCORE. Despite their humble beginnings as a joke in a friend's garage, Santa Cruz, CA's most degenerate six-piece launched themselves into underground semi-stardom with their Victory debut "The game of life," which featured the band's manic mix of influences that vary from DESPISED ICON to CRYPTOPSY to DREAM THEATER and even BETWEEN THE BURIED AND ME. This disc is a re-release of the first full-length, long out of print and showcasing how the phenomenon that is ARSONISTS GET ALL THE GIRLS got started. (2009/CENTURY MEDIA)

-----------------------------------------------------------
BREED, THE - Same 7'' 4.50 EUR

CRUST-HARDCORE. Five tracks of powerful Hardcore and Crust with members of ROTTEN SOUND, DETHBOUND, CANDY CANE & GHOST BRIGADE. You know what to expect. (2009/ADDICITON TO WAR)

-----------------------------------------------------------
CLOROX GIRLS - All i wanna do 7'' 4.90 EUR

PUNKROCK. This new 7" brings you 3 unreleased songs from a session in Brazil. What you have in CLOROX GIRLS is a band that plays late '70s style Punk, from a time when Punk was influenced by the likes of Chuck Berry, Ritchie Valens, and Howlin Wolf. Couple this with early '80s Los Angeles bands like GEARS, GERMS and the DICKIES and you have an idea of where these boys are coming from. Finally, this great record sees the light of day! KILLER 7"!! (2009/DISCO SUBTERRANEOS)

-----------------------------------------------------------
COPELAND - You are my sunshine DoLP 16.90 EUR

EMO/INDIE. With an 11-track offering of lush soundscapes, driving guitars and brilliant lyrics, COPELAND has never been more prolific, heartfelt or sonically dynamic. With three critically acclaimed records under their belts and an army of adoring fans impatiently awaiting the next installment, the timing could not be more perfect for a grand open-armed reception of "You are my sunshine". Now available on vinyl with 2 additional tracks. (2009/TOOTH & NAIL)

-----------------------------------------------------------
DEMON HUNTER - Live in Nashville CD 11.90 EUR

METALCORE. Recorded in Nashville, TN during the "Stronger than hell" tour in 2008, this live release captures the power and energy that DEMON HUNTER display through favorites like "Fading away," "Not ready to die," "My heartstrings come undone," "Not I" and many others, playing like a greatest hits record, showcasing songs from each of their four records. (2009/TOOTH & NAIL)

-----------------------------------------------------------
DIGITAL LEATHER - Hard at work LP 10.90 EUR

PUNK. Enough "Dark" for the punk kids and enough "Wave" for the art kids. Certainly enough going on for the seriously A.D.D. kids. The new DIGITAL LEATHER full-length, "Hard at work", pushes their synthesized, raw-pop further into the cold, detached aesthetics of the oft-quoted "early synth-punk" era. Equally at home compared to retro-synth-punk (à la The SCREAMERS, HUMAN LEAGUE, WIRE) and experimental club blasts, the record draws on common elements of brutality in these diverse musical examples, and delivers unusual melodic twists on this concept at full force without sparing your heart or your eardrums a second of peace. (2009/TIC TAC TOTALLY)

-----------------------------------------------------------
ERGS, THE - That's it ... bye! MLP 9.90 EUR

TRASH-PUNK. These are some leftovers from their last show ...The No Idea Fest No. 7! The last 3 songs The ERGS! ever wrote. Nicely wrapped 12inch with nerdy artwork by Mitch Clem. (2009/DON GIOVANNI)

-----------------------------------------------------------
GORDON GANO'S ARMY - Same LP 10.90 EUR

POP-PUNK. The United Kingdom has dished out an intense Punk group with jangly guitars and melodies a la The BUZZCOCKS and JETS TO BRAZIL, and with the powerpop vibes that you'd find in the early POWERPEARL boxsets. They're just finishing up their full US-tour with LEMURIA before heading back to their homeland. (2009/ART OF THE UNDERGROUND)

-----------------------------------------------------------
GROINOIDS - Radiobeat sessions 7'' 6.90 EUR

HARDCORE. After 27 years, the complete GROINOIDS "This is Boston, not LA" sessions are available to the world. GROINOIDS were the outcasts of the Boston, MA hardcore scene: too Punk and too fucked-up to fit into the regimented Straight Edge Hardcore scene that ruled the area in the early '80s. These 5 tracks find the band early in the years of Hardcore, before their sound took on a dirgier, more FLIPPER-type approach. (2009/I DEAL)

-----------------------------------------------------------
HARVEY MILK - The singles DoLP 17.90 EUR

SLUDGE/PROGRESSIVE-ROCK. Too heavy to be Post Rock, too weird to be Metal. Too everything to be anything, HARVEY MILK are unconventional and wholly unique, both structurally and sonically. HARVEY MILK crafted inconceivable slabs of mesmerizing, ultra dynamic Sludge, as well as precious moments of effortless grace and restraint. ''The Singles'' delivers all the hard to find moments of their career and is at once hypnotic, repetitive, jarring, unpredictable, exhausting and perplexing. (2009/RELAPSE)

-----------------------------------------------------------
HEAR THE SIRENS - Rebel hearts lost CD 8.90 EUR

HARDCORE. HEAR THE SIRENS, from Northern California, present their debut full-length, a 13-track melodic Hardcore album that takes plenty of influence from STRIKE ANYWHERE, early LIFETIME and KID DYNAMITE, while sharing stages with bands like THIS TIME NEXT YEAR and BROADWAY CALLS. (2009/SILLY GIRL)

-----------------------------------------------------------
JAMMY DODGERS, THE - Same 7'' 4.20 EUR

PUNK. The JAMMY DODGERS is a brief milestone in the long, twisted musical journey of Chris Clavin (Ghost Mice, Captain Chaos, Operation Cliff Clavin, The Devil Is Electric) that once again returns to the electrified roots of DIY Punkrock. The result is 7 tracks of poppy, lighthearted Punk. (2009/NO IDEA)

-----------------------------------------------------------
KIDS LIKE US / MONGOLOIDS, THE - Split 7''col 4.90 EUR

HARDCORE. KIDS LIKE US and MONGOLOIDS both bust out 2 tracks for this split that is limited to 1000 copies on Coke-bottle clear vinyl. (2009/GHETTO JOSH)

-----------------------------------------------------------
LANDLORD - Lifers LP 11.50 EUR

GARAGE-PUNK/ROCK. Chris and Matte from The DOOR-KEYS join Will from DEFIANCE OHIO to make up Bloomington, IN's Garage-Punk answer to DINOSAUR JR. With haunting melody and beautiful harmony, this three-piece play 1990s Alternative Rock with vibes of MEAT PUPPETS or TEENAGE FANCLUB. While Bloomington residents might catch The Coug chowing down at Chipotle, LANDLORD rings in a true era of midwest small-town romance with flawless songwriting, wide dynamic range, perfect Pop-sense and Punk energy. Music lovers with a vast appreciation for all types of Rock and Roll will find much
to rally behind here as the band channels the laid-back groove of NEIL YOUNG, the minor/major key shifting of THE ZOMBIES, J. MASCIS-esque guitar shredding and builds on the blissful Pop-Punk cornerstone laid by their own THE DOOR-KEYS. "Lifers" was recorded to tape in one sleep-deprived session at Chattanooga, TN's Revolution Sound by Mike Pack (Future Virgins). Then, these workhorses handmade the album collage artwork, insert, and limited edition screened posters. (2009/HOUSEPLANT)

-----------------------------------------------------------
LEATHERMOUTH - XO CD 13.90 EUR

HARDCORE. When MY CHEMICAL ROMANCE's Frank Iero assembled LEATHERMOUTH in a New Jersey garage in 2007, he wanted the band to serve not only as a mouthpiece for anger, but a reminder to today's youth that sometimes it's the loudmouths who make the change happen in this tumultuous world. Waking the ghosts of bands like BLACK FLAG and INK & DAGGER, Iero and crew rip through 10 dirty, teeth-gnashing Hardcore tracks. (2009/EPITAPH)

-----------------------------------------------------------
LOS CRUDOS - Discography CD 11.50 EUR

HARDCORE-PUNK. LOS CRUDOS makes its first appearance on CD with 74 tracks!! The CD includes all of their 7"s, their split LP, their full-length LP, as well as compilation tracks, alternate versions of some songs, and 12 live in the studio tracks. Get this legendary CD before it is once again out of print. (2009/LENGUA ARMADA)

-----------------------------------------------------------
LOVED ONES, THE - Distractions MCD 8.50 EUR

PUNK. Releasedate for Vinyl 03.02.2009. Fresh off a year touring with the likes of THE HOLD STEADY, FLOGGING MOLLY and NOFX, The LOVED ONES are eager to slake the collective thirst of their rapidly growing fan base with "Distractions," which rides the line between Punkrock and Americana, saturating their music with unforgettable hooks, rock riffs, completive lyrics and enduring melodies. In addition to original material, they also pay homage to a few of their influences by offering covers of classic songs by Bruce Springsteen, Billy Bragg and Joe Strummer. (2009/FAT WRECK)

-----------------------------------------------------------
MALCOLM BAULD - Covered in dust LP 10.90 EUR

EMO/PUNK. Brilliant artist from Montreal with anthemic tunes in the vein of BILLY BRAGG, BRUCE SPRINGSTEEN and The WEAKERTHANS. Bauld originally performed in the Punk group The FRENETICS as the lead vocalist and guitarist. He hasn't strayed too far from that sound on this debut full-length album! (2009/ART OF THE UNDERGROUND)

-----------------------------------------------------------
MAMMOTH GRINDER - No results 7'' 4.90 EUR

HARDCORE. The follow up to their "Rage & ruin" LP finds Austin, TX's MAMMOTH GRINDER progressing with four new songs that exceed anything they've released to date, with a gloomy, violent Hardcore with SABBATH-esque breakdowns and thick and heavy sounding Crust Metal-laden riffs. Fifteen minutes of music on one 7"! Think the faster moments of CURSED with EYEHATEGOD's Sludge. (2009/INKBLOT)

-----------------------------------------------------------
MARKED MEN - Fortune / Like robots 7'' 4.50 EUR

PUNK. The MARKED MEN top the launching of their completely new full-length 'Ghost' with the release of a 7'' at the same time. These are 2 songs from the same session, the A-side ''Fortune'' is definitely one of the best and most melodic songs they've ever written. ''Like robots'' is a bit slower and more wavy, yet catchy as hell, as all their material. If you are into fast and catchy Punkrock, mostly influenced by the RAMONES and DEVO, you're right here! (2008/DIRTNAP)

-----------------------------------------------------------
MARKED MEN - Ghosts LP/CD 10.90/11.50 EUR

PUNK. Blurring the rawness and velocity of their self-titled debut with the slightly more developed songwriting "chops" of the last two, the MARKED MEN have truly delivered the best of both worlds. you can pop the needle on "Ghosts" for 5 seconds and instantly be left without a doubt as to whom you are listening. It ain't pop-punk. It ain't power-pop. It ain't KBD or '77 style punk. At this point, the MARKED MEN sound like absolutely no one but themselves. (2009/DIRTNAP)

-----------------------------------------------------------
MARKED MEN - On the outside LP 10.90 EUR

PUNK. This is the re-release of the MARKED MEN's second album, which also came out on Dirtnap in 2004, but was out of print for all these years. Members were in the REDS (released two records on Rip Off Records) and one guy is currently playing in the RIVERBOAR GAMBLERS. You get 12 distinctive songs influenced by the RAMONES, but played in a SCARED OF CHAKA kinda way. Songs like ''Don't lose it'' oder ''Broken Record'', even remind of the HANSON BROTHERS or THE SPITS but with much more cool! (2009/DIRTNAP)

-----------------------------------------------------------
NOBUNNY - Love visions LP/CD 10.50/10.90 EUR

PUNK. Continuing the grand tradition of Bay Area garage acts dressed in outrageous costumes (remember the VULCANEERS, TRASHWOMEN and the MUMMIES)... NOBUNNY has released a rip-roaring good-times party album that comes on like the illegitimate offspring of the ARCHIES, JOEY RAMONE, HASIL ADKINS and KIM FOWLEY. A mixture of gritty, fuzzy Garagerock and giddy, sticky bubblegum music... NOBUNNY's ability to deliver blithesome songs with a maddened and frothy smile is simply brilliant. His bouncy and rollicking style conjures images of dirty bubbles rising over a landscape of unkempt, and insanely catchy hooks that will have the stuffiest of the arm folding camp dancing and acting like idiots within the first couple of chords. (2008/1-2-3-4 GO!)

-----------------------------------------------------------
OAK - Same LP 14.90 EUR

DOOM-HARDCORE. Four tracks of epic, crushing Doom from Baltimore, MD featuring members of WAKE UP ON FIRE and the almighty DEATHAMMER. Think BURNING WITCH meets DISEMBOWLEMENT. Pressed on heavy vinyl and packaged in a gatefold cover with stellar artwork both inside and out. (2009/A389)

-----------------------------------------------------------
P.L.F. - Pulverizing lethal force LP 11.50 EUR

GRINDCORE. Texan speed trial champions' first full-length after almost ten years in the game! Members have toiled in numerous other projects like INSECT WARFARE, 50/50, RACE AGAINST TIME and KNUCKLESCRAPER. Totally maturing from their Gulf Coast cretin WARSORE/DENAK raw grindforce origins adding strong elements of lethal German Thrash Metal a la SODOM and MASSACRE style pulverizing Florida death production. (2009/TORTURE GARDEN)

-----------------------------------------------------------
PALA - Same 7'' 4.90 EUR

HARDCORE. Baltimore, MD's PALA feature members of PULLING TEETH and bring a technical and rather innovative style of Hardcore that can somewhat be described as CONVERGE crossing paths with AT THE DRIVE IN. 3 songs! (2009/A389)

-----------------------------------------------------------
RAW HATE - Same LP 9.50 EUR

CRUST-HARDCORE. Totally over-the-top and snotty Swedish D-Beat with an acid drinker on the mic and a guy with fast fingers on the strings. You heard the riffs before, you know the lyrics about cops, life and war, but this is presented in such a fucked-up and pissed-off way that it's a mere benefaction. Crust as fuck! (2009/ADDICITON TO WAR)

-----------------------------------------------------------
SCREECHING WEASEL - My brain hurts LPcol 14.90 EUR

POP-PUNK. Chicago's SCREECHING WEASEL generally has a polarizing effect on most Punk fans - either you love their amateurish, tuneful RAMONES imitation and singer/guitarist Ben Weasel's smartass-suburbanite, often pop culture-oriented lyrics, or you hate them. Well, for those of you who love them, we offer you the re-release of "My brain hurts". Having sold over 125,000 copies since its release in 1988, legions of new and old fans will be jumping through hoops to get this classic Punk album. Re-mastered by Mass GiorginiI (Sonic Iguana); new liner notes by band members; new never before seen photos. Now available on colored vinyl with a gatefold cover. (2009/RECESS)

-----------------------------------------------------------
SUFFERING MIND - Destroy mankind 7'' 4.50 EUR

GRINDCORE/PUNK. Five tracks of excellent Polish old-school Grindcore with a Punk influence. FEatures members of PEOPLE HATE, ANTICHRIST and THIS MEANS WAR. Limited to 500 copies. (2009/ADDICITON TO WAR)

-----------------------------------------------------------
SWAMP THING - In shame LPcol 10.90 EUR

HARDCORE-PUNK. While the 13 songs SWAMP THING unleash on "In shame" clock in at just under 20 minutes, it’s enough to lay waste to the competition. In an era of rehashed ideas and artificial anger, SWAMP THING bring about something genuine and hold no emotions back. Whether it’s about flipping the middle finger to the big guy in the sky in “Hiding” or attacking the corporate machine in “Stepping Stones,” Robert’s lyrics give a voice to a lost generation that has been neglected and overlooked for far too long. Despite their age barely breaking the 20-year mark, SWAMP THING has found a way to mix their rampant anger and youthful passion with an equally powerful wave of music. Never has a group so young proved to be such a threat. "In shame'' will not only put them atop Richmond’s Hardcore throne, but will put them in line to conquer the world. (2009/6131)

-----------------------------------------------------------
TRIPFACE - Same CD 8.90 EUR

HARDCORE. TRIPFACE held down the Long Island, NY hardcore scene in the mid-'90s, playing a chugging style of Hardcore typical of the era, but weren't afraid to throw in melody or speed, self-described as a cross between SNAPCASE and JUDGE. This disc contains 30 songs and the entire studio output of the band. Members went on to GLASSJAW, LARIAT, BURNING BRIDGES and ADVENT. (2009/MOTHERBOX)

-----------------------------------------------------------
UNWELCOME GUESTS - The painter 7'' 4.20 EUR

PUNK/INDIEROCK. Dirty and rocking Punk with great melodies. Very reminiscent of The REPLACEMENTS, SEBADOH, and DINOSAUR JR. Soaring guitar leads and pounding drums. This is a great follow up to their split 7" with Annie from THIS IS MY FIST and their Art of the Underground Single Series 7". (2009/ART OF THE UNDERGROUND)
