ADAMS DAGGER - The ripper 7''col 5.50 EUR
PUNK. Formed in a small town in Florida and later relocated to Long Beach, California, ADAMS DAGGER (originally called THE SHANKS and briefly known as ZERO TO KILL) has been playing together for over five years. With their new name and first shows through California, Nevada, Colorado, New Mexico and Arizona, they continue to make their way through the rest of the United States, playing to anyone who will listen, winning fans over one by one with their loud, Punk influenced, Rock 'n' Roll sound. "The ripper" is ADAMS DAGGER's first example of what is to come from this monster, and with this much raw energy packed into a 4-song EP, it should give you an idea of what to expect from their live show. AGUIRRE - Calvaire LP 9.90 EUR
DOOM/CRUST-HARDCORE. After an LP and a split LP with HONGO from Spain, you'd better be prepared for some new doomy and gloomy stuff here. AGUIRRE take up new songs and just as on their demo they reek of darkness and agony. It's so present it's half painful to listen to it, but that's also what draws me in. It's like staring down a bottomless abyss of all that is evil, sensing it, as the complete black allows you to see nothing - and liking it. They haven't changed a whole lot from their previous releases, it's still the minimalist angst with the lonely guitar tunes alternated with thundering heaviness, as with the whispering and roaring vocals - all executed in a real slow pace. BERURIER NOIR - Abracadaboum DigiCD 10.50 EUR
PUNK. BERURIER NOIR was/is a French Punk band formed in 1983. Their music was clearly derived from British Punkrock as far music and lyrics were concerned. Most of their songs were short, aggressive and usually based on a couple of basic power chords. Their lyrics reflected the typical concerns of Punks: rejection of consumerism, politics, traditional social order and the anger felt by disaffected youth, tramps and outsiders in general. On the other, they added some interesting innovations. Their rhythm section consisted of a cheap drum machine, which became an essential and arguably endearing part of their sound. The frequent use of a saxophone as of the mid-eighties also set them apart from most other punk rock bands. This is their classic "Abracadabraboum!" LP from 1987 and has some bonus tracks from the "L'Empereur Tomato- Ketchup" MLP 1986 on it, too. Alltogether you get 20 tracks to mark the classic BERURIER NOIR sound of chanty carnival festival Agitpunk ... amazing release in a digipack with booklet. (2009/FZM)

Productionwise, this was way more polished, heavy and well produced than their previous stuff. HARDCORE-PUNK. Another 25th anniversary re-release! This time its the long awaited re-release of one of the most collectible Hardcore-Punk records to ever come out of the original scene in 1983, F "You are an EP." Complete with original artwork and controversial sleeve inserts, and re-mastered here for the very first time. F was the focal point of the Hardcore scene stemming out of South Florida, adored and hated by punks across the US because of their pro-Ronald Reagan stance, as tongue-in-cheek as it may have been. F was one of those bands where if you werent smart enough to "get it," you wanted to kick their ass. But F was too busy kicking ours, with great releases such as "You are an EP", Florida's first 12" Punk vinyl release, "Mess you up", F's debut on the notorious Mystic Records label, and the single "Attack" which appeared on Flipside's Vinyl Fanzine #1 Compilation alongside such greats as The DICKIES, TSOL, SCREAM and GBH. This 25th Anniversary re-release includes all of those recordings in their entirety, plus a few bonus tracks thrown in ... HARDCORE. Germany's GOLDUST is back with their latest EP, the "Noir", which unloads 6 new tracks in just nine-and-a-half minutes. For the most part the material picks up right where "Axis" left off, though the recording is definitely a little crisper, which helps the material "pop" a bit more, so this is absolutely the best the band has sounded to date. Interestingly enough, however, while they keep the running times more consistently short and to the point here, they're also branching out just a touch - retaining the core of their straightforward metallic Hardcore sound while amping up the overall sense of energy with true feelings of rage, as well as a hint more diversity in a few instances. DEATH-METAL. The leaders of Holland's Death Metal scene, GOREFEST built a substantial underground following over the course of the '90s with a powerful, groove-based sound that often paralleled similar innovations by bands like ENTOMBED and SEPULTURA. Considering the members of this band have been in KID DYNAMITE, LIFETIME, GREY AREA, WARZONE, The ARSONS and TOKEN ENTRY (among many others), it's pretty safe to say that HIGHER GIANT knows what their doing with Punkrock at this point. "The first five" is every bit as melodic as it is aggressive, more or less resulting in something that sounds like The BOUNCING SOULS' "How I spent my summer vacation" and The LOVED ONES' "Build and burn." PUNK-ROCK. Re-issue of great album released by Copenhagen kiddie punks HUL in the year of 2001 in a ridiculously limited edition; this record has been needlessly obscure ever since. HUL predated the recent explosion of a great Danish Punk by a few years - basically, this is the band where members of NO HOPE FOR THE KIDS, YOUNG WASTENERS and AMDI PETERSENS ARME and a bunch of other great bands got their start. It's like staring down a bottomless abyss of all that is evil, sensing it, as the complete black allows you to see nothing - and liking it. They haven't changed a whole lot from their previous releases, it's still the minimalist angst with the lonely guitar tunes alternated with thundering heaviness, as with the whispering and roaring vocals - all executed in a real slow pace. BERURIER NOIR - Abracadaboum DigiCD 10.50 EUR
PUNK. BERURIER NOIR was/is a French Punk band formed in 1983. Their music was clearly derived from British Punkrock as far music and lyrics were concerned. Most of their songs were short, aggressive and usually based on a couple of basic power chords. Their lyrics reflected the typical concerns of Punks: rejection of consumerism, politics, traditional social order and the anger felt by disaffected youth, tramps and outsiders in general. On the other, they added some interesting innovations. Their rhythm section consisted of a cheap drum machine, which became an essential and arguably endearing part of their sound. The frequent use of a saxophone as of the mid-eighties also set them apart from most other punk rock bands. This is their classic "Abracadabraboum!" LP from 1987 and has some bonus tracks from the "L'Empereur Tomato- Ketchup" MLP 1986 on it, too. This time its the long awaited re-release of one of the most collectible Hardcore-Punk records to ever come out of the original scene in 1983, F "You are an EP." F was the focal point of the Hardcore scene stemming out of South Florida, adored and hated by punks across the US because of their pro-Ronald Reagan stance, as tongue-in-cheek as it may have been.
