Dezember 1980 - der Satz "alles schon mal dagewesen" gehörte zum reaktionärsten Gedankengut, das dieser Planet gesehen hat, verkünden die Künstler Büttner und Oehlen in der Musikzeitschrift "Sounds". Folglich: "Er blockiert das Leben selbst und sollte jeden Tag aufs Neue widerlegt werden". Die unten genannten Neuheiten dürften das vielleicht ab & an tatsächlich widerlegen.

PRE-ORDER-GEDÖNS: UNION OF SLEEP - s/t LP
Die LP ist bereits im Presswerk und die Testpressung der Debut-LP, der Hagener Kombo müsste spätestens Mitte September hier eintreffen. Das Teil dürfte, wenn alles nach Plan läuft, dann locker zur angedachten Releaseshow am 9.10. (mit BURIAL und ZERO MENTALITY in Hagen [was für eine Mischung?]) fertiggestellt sein.
Wie bereits bei anderen PER KORO & BARFIGHT Releases richten wir wieder eigens für die limitierte Version eine neue Emailadresse ein, die NUR solange Gültigkeit besitzt, bis die im Mailorder zur Verfügung stehenden limitierten Kopien allesamt verkauft sind!

HARDCORE. Blazing fast, frantic and furious japanese hardcore from the southernmost island of Kyushu. The a-side is the studio side of their 2000 "a hope on the concrete" album while the b-side is the 1998 7" "arming rebellion with the sound of hearts".
ANXIETY - pathetic (2009/SOCIAL NAPALM) LP 11,50 €
HARDCORE. The record is heavily influenced by late '80s British hardcore bands along the lines of ELECTRO HIPPIES, HERESY, ATAVISTIC or US bands like INMATES. With gruff vocals drenched in reverb. HARDCORE. AWAKEN DEMONS hail from a beautiful Italian city called Cesena. They spent the better part of 2008 writing "the mirror". The album is 10 songs of pure aggression and features guest vocals from Vincent Bennett (The Acacia Strain) and Karl Buechner (Earth Crisis). In their own words AWAKEN DEMON is "a straight-edge hardcore band, who believe in friendship, loyalty and nothing less".

This has been released due to the treatment the band has received from Peaceville Records, who have sold half the label to the major Music For Nations Rcords. This happened after they had assured the band that the recordings wouldn't fall into the hands of a major label. The double LP contains 37 tracks from their out-of-print, early Peaceville Records recordings, including the "war crimes" LP and split LP with NO SECURITY, re-recorded with the new line-up and twice as powerful as the originals. HOPE CONSPIRACY, THE - true nihilist (2009/DEATHWISH) 7"col 5,50 €
HARDCORE. "true hihilist" is THE HOPE CONSPIRACY's latest, and possibly greatest, recorded effort to date. With a rhythm section sounding like the beating heart of an animal about to pounce on its tender prey, the electricity they collectively create hangs in the air throughout the release, making hairs stand on end before bursting out with their now trademark rage and intensity. HARDCORE. ILLS from Finland deserve hard-hitting, heavy and downtuned hardcore tracks on their debut release. Limited edition of 500 copies. "black dog" contains 5 songs that conjure the ghosts of classic bands all while adding their own unique spin on the genre.

HARDCORE. New full-length from Twin Cities taco hardcore-punks. IN DEFENCE continue to shred and the 10 song are top notch, fast and furious straight ahead hardcore. IN DEFENCE's 2n LP channels somewhere between RAMBO and MUNICIPAL WASTE's spirited and fun take on hardcore - relentless shouted back up vocals and choruses cranked into a thick straight ahead attack. Really good quality, fast paced incendiary song structure and smoking riffage. Grab this and start learning the choruses for when IN DEFENCE rolls through your town! INEPSY - rock'n' roll babylon (2003/FERAL WARD) LP 11,- €
HARDCORE. Repressed again! These Canadians play some rockin' material with a pretty major set of influences drawn from Lemmy and company, straight down to the vocals (which are totally gruff and slightly deeper Lemmy's own). Shit, even the recording sounds dated in a late early '80s way. This is gnarled and discordant hardcore in a CODE 13 meets MOTÖRHEAD sort of way. If you like your beers warm and jackets studded, this is required.
INSTED - live at cbgb's (2005/LIVEWIRE) LPcol 11,- €
SXE-HARDCORE. Out-of-press for a couple years. After breaking up in 1991 INSTED returned in the Summer of 2004 to play 5 reunion shows in celebration of their discography CD. Three shows on the East-Coast, and 2 on the West Coast. On June 27th, 2004 INSTED played the legendary CBGB in New York City and the show was recorded and documented for this release. "live at cbgb's" contains 18 classic songs filled with energy and positivity.
LEWD ACTS - black eye blues (2009/DEATHWISH) LPcol 11,50 € / DigiCD 11,- €
HARDCORE-PUNK. LEWD ACTS' brand of raw noise reeks of true soul and stunning originality. HARDCORE-PUNK. LIGHTS OUT from Stuttgart are dropping the bomb: after their 7" and the fantastic "destroy/create" album. Short, straight hardcore-punk songs, that render homage to the good old bands from the '80s. Old heroes like ANGRY SAMOANS or CIRCLE JERKS are one of their influences, but also nowadaysbands like DEAN DIRG or SNIFFINMG GLUE. Dirty, fast, overwinded and uncontrollable punkrock-songs cram-full with energy and power. The flipside is done by their friends THE HIGH SOCIETY from Nürnberg. While taking the same line referring to music, they sing in German. Their references are also bands like BLACK FLAG, REAGAN YOUTH and they also have enough independence to be more than a copy of the big names. Powerfull and direct first class hardcore-punk. NEBULA - heavy psych (2009/TEE PEE) LP 15,50 €
STONER-ROCK. NEBULA have been knocking around for the best part of 12 years now but have somehow never quite risen out of the 2nd division of stoner bands. Overlaying everything on "heavy psych" are endless splatters of feedback, bent notes, squeals, squawks and crucial guitar abuse that give NEBULA such a crushingly unique flavour. The band strays leagues away from the province of processed, microchip-generated instrumentals. They're the minimalists of music the way rock began. No big expensive effects racks, pop-up drummers, or voice manipulators. They're vintage and they're proud!

SINGER/SONGWRITER. CHUCK RAGAN's latest release may be coming out a few lifetimes after the gold rush of the mid-19th century, however there's a timeless quality to the album that embodies the hope and hard work that helped define that period in the American consciousness. Ragan knows a thing or two about paying his dues: since the early nineties he's co-fronted the legendary punk act HOT WATER MUSIC and over the past few years, he's released a string of well-received solo acoustic efforts in the spirit of fellow folk troubadours like Steve Earle and Pete Seeger. "gold country" is a striking collection of songs that show how much Ragan has progressed since his 2007 solo debut "feast or famine".

HARDCORE. Blazing fast, frantic and furious japanese hardcore from the southernmost island of Kyushu. The a-side is the studio side of their 2000 "a hope on the concrete" album while the b-side is the 1998 7" "arming rebellion with the sound of hearts".

INEPSY - rock'n' roll babylon (2003/FERAL WARD) LP 11,- €
HARDCORE. Repressed again! These Canadians play some rockin' material with a pretty major set of influences drawn from Lemmy and company, straight down to the vocals (which are totally gruff and slightly deeper Lemmy's own). Shit, even the recording sounds dated in a late early '80s way. This is gnarled and discordant hardcore in a CODE 13 meets MOTÖRHEAD sort of way. If you like your beers warm and jackets studded, this is required.
INSTED - live at cbgb's (2005/LIVEWIRE) LPcol 11,- €
SXE-HARDCORE. Out-of-press for a couple years. After breaking up in 1991 INSTED returned in the Summer of 2004 to play 5 reunion shows in celebration of their discography CD. Three shows on the East-Coast, and 2 on the West Coast. On June 27th, 2004 INSTED played the legendary CBGB in New York City and the show was recorded and documented for this release. "live at cbgb's" contains 18 classic songs filled with energy and positivity.

CHUCK RAGAN's latest release may be coming out a few lifetimes after the gold rush of the mid-19th century, however there's a timeless quality to the album that embodies the hope and hard work that helped define that period in the American consciousness. Ragan knows a thing or two about paying his dues: since the early nineties he's co-fronted the legendary punk act HOT WATER MUSIC and over the past few years, he's released a string of well-received solo acoustic efforts in the spirit of fellow folk troubadours like Steve Earle and Pete Seeger.
