KID NERO/VENGEANCE TODAY SPRING-TRIP

How came that a Newcomer-Band from Dresden/Germany was asked to support acts like IGNITE, THE CASTING OUT, FAR FROM FINISHED or MISCONDUCT at the very beginning of their existence? Two possibilities: either they knew all the important guys and girls in the biz – rather unlikely – or: their music was, well, good! It’s been a while since the creation of KID NERO in 2007, and the live performances of the four guys delivered what the first 5-track album promised: complex, high energy melodic hardcore combined with the catchy hooklines of a charismatic lead voice. Inspired by bands like PROPAGANDHI, ALEXISONFIRE, VERSE or THRICE, every KID NERO-Show is an intense and exhausting event, be there 5 or 500 people!
Starting in late 2007 with the intention to play the music they love, Chemnitz’s VENGEANCE TODAY are now up to hit the road and showing the scene that hardcore still has a positive message in a time where desperation and egoism is the main focus of peoples lifes. After some hard setbacks in their young history, with changing members and a burned down rehearsal room, they are now stronger then before, with their upcoming ‘BEST DAYS’-EP and a passionate and intense live performance. VENGEANCE TODAY is playing oldschool hc with a punk edge influenced by bands like COMEBACK KID, CASEY JONES or SET IT STRAIGHT.
