Lasting Traces from the lonely woods of the Black Forest in Southern Germany are creating a furious mixture of modern hardcore/punk with a big focus on a melodic edge.
Founded in early 2008, the band has played about 70 shows so far, and is ready to head off for their Eastern European Tour in April 2010 to promote their new record.
After a Demo Release in 2008, and the well respected debut MCD "Portraits" in summer 2009, the band has entered the next level, by releasing a Split 7" with their buddys in Way Down from Magdeburg.
Those new songs will be released through the helping hands of Slap Records (Germany) and I For Us Records (Belgium).
Expect 2 new songs, recorded @ Die Tonmeisterei Oldenburg (responsible for top notch productions like Ritual, Just Went Black, Empty Vision).
Heavy hearted lyrics combined with frustration and energy. As influence and comparable artists you can name bands of the last decade like Verse or Killing The Dream. But LT doesn't sound like a poor imitation. Outstanding music from passionated kids, for passionated kids.

way down is hc-punk combo from magdeburg/oschersleben, consisting of five dudes. inspired by bands like verse, go it alone, dead swans, the carrier, have heart, modern life is war and the bands we´ve played with, we try to create our sound from as many different ideas as possible. way down is existing since the end of 2008. we´ve played as many shows as we could handle and we always look forward to the next one. we´re very glad and proud to got the chance for signing in i for us records who support us very well. ghost please die sems to us like a good mix between hardcore in a traditional way and punk riffs. by now our sound is changing a little bit into heavier stuff but still with a punk note. hopefully we can make a lonplayer happen this year. we´ve been on small tours with reason to care and meleeh in august 2009 and february 2010 and went to sweden in january 2010. since now we´ve had a great time with a lot of great shows and experiences and with a car thats way to small for five guys. we hope to keep on making music, coming around and showing our piece of the hardcore-cake.
