“This is the third time AT HALF-MAST will be touring Europe. Twice they’ve presented to us their ideas of modern heavy, heartfelt music, utilizing infectious guitar riffs and intelligent songwriting that calls to mind artists past and present, from Go It Alone and The Carrier to groups that fall well outside the umbrella of “hardcore.” With intense and emotional live sets as their calling card, a range of dynamics such as spoken word and ’90s emo ensure At Half-Mast’s refusal to abide by the stereotypes and cliches of so many others.
