RITUAL
For five years now RITUAL are on their way on the roads of Europe. This experience can be heard and can be seen. More than 250 shows have shaped their sound and their performance that has still remained spontaneous and authentic. Sultry, aggressive hardcore, dark and brutal. Although the musical influences are not solely coming from this one genre, the music still remains true to this line that they're following from the very beginning: the songs are straight forward and make the crowd go wild every time they're being presented live. RITUAL's sound presents itself in an energetic, aggressive drumming, which stays precise even in its quickness, in a guitar work that fathoms the possibilities of the genre and in a hard, cold bass. And then there are these vocals: The shake of the head in incomprehension of the world's delusion, the despair, the anger and the exhausting constraint of throwing yourself against the boredom of your life with all your power and all the weight of your body become manifest in a rasping voice, so powerful that it grabs you and grinds you – all over the jagged concrete. On record and live RITUAL belong to the spearhead of European hardcore. They demonstrate what it still can mean to play in a punk band: a life, a passion, a lived out “no” to the authorities and restraints of this time. After tours with Have Heart, Carpathian, Ills, Anchor and countless other bands they have found an appropriate home at REFLECTIONS RECORDS, that's where the latest 7” entitled “Kissing Pavement” just came out and that's also where a new album is about to come out early this year. For 2011 there is a whole bunch of shows planned – and now this is meant as an invitation to participate in the spectacle.

SOUL CONTROL
Formed in the fall of 2006, Soul Control will release the second long player on Bridge 9 one year after their successful release Cycle (bridge 9). Boasting a grandiose tour history, Soul Control is THE definition of D.I.Y. touring. Connolly said, “We don’t wait around for offers, we just go. This is how we do it – we tour hard.” Soul Control has toured the U.S. with the likes of Have Heart, Verse, 108, Go It Alone, Sinking Ships, and more. The band has covered Europe solo and alongside Blacklisted and Shipwreck. Additionally, the band has played such high profile shows as The Anti-Matter book release with Snapcase, Chicago’s Burning Fight book release with Unbroken and Disembodied, two Sound and Fury Festivals, and two This Is Hardcore festivals. In support of Cycles, Soul Control will spend all of August touring throughout Europe before they cross back over the pond to spend all of September venturing to every corner of the continental US.
