We today received the CELESTE – NIHILISTE(S) LP repress. Two nice new versions: 200 pic discs and 200 on ultraclear / white a /b + heavy gold splatter. The N (15) + MIRKO UHLIG – GERONTOLOGY LP arrived as well. The preorders for both will leave in the next 2 days.
two excellent new records are online now for preorder: THE MOUNT FUJI DOOMJAZZ CORPORATION is back with a new monster of improvisation – 60 minutes – no breaks.
Additionaly they're happy to inform you that they're working on an official alternate soundtrack of the movie AMER in the next months. This one will be available on vinyl and cd later this year as well.
The other new release will be the first album of IROHA. You maybe already know them because of the split with FRAGMENT. we've released last year. Now they're back with their first full lenght. You're getting two cds / lps with 2 different mixes and several remixes of befriended artists. Disc one features the original IROHA mix from Andy Swan. Disc two includes a finish from JUSTIN K. BROADRICK and several remixes of TRANSITIONAL, JESU and BLACK GALAXY.

THE MOUNT FUJI DOOMJAZZ CORPORATION – ANTHROPOMORPHIC Cd / 2xLP
PART I. Anthropomorphic means ascribing a human form to a non-human entity. In this case, this non-human entity is music. Being born is human. ANTHROPOMORPHIC is born from the amniotic fluid of Eelco Bosman's guitar layers. Comforting, quiet. The innermost peace is the peace of the womb. Breathing is human. Hilary Jeffery's trombone starts to breathe. The first deep breath of many breaths. Infrequent breathing, irritated breathing, return to equilibrium. Endless organic cycles.
THE MOUNT FUJI DOOMJAZZ CORPORATION is a live improv jazz/drone/doom sideproject consisting of the THE KILIMANJARO DARKJAZZ ENSEMBLE members Gideon Kiers, Jason Köhnen, Charlotte Cegarra, Hilary Jeffery, Eelco Bosman, Nina Hitz, and Sarah Anderson and various interchanging guest musicians including Ron Goris. Following DOOMJAZZ FUTURE CORPSES! and SUCCUBUS, ANTHROPOMORPHIC constitutes the third released session of TMFDC.
PART II. Growing is human. Nina Hitz' cello is growing on the mother soil of Jason Köhnen's guitar and Gideon Kiers' electronics. Strong body, solid body. Opening his eyes and capturing the light. Innocent receiving turns into the determined lookout of Sarah Anderson's violin. Clouded awareness, conflict, clear awareness. The dissonant revolt of the mind against the body.
Since the members of THE MOUNT FUJI DOOMJAZZ CORPORATION live scattered among Rotterdam, Paris, Berlin, and London, they rarely tour. This in turn makes each of their single shows a special event, and if they do play a show, they don't mind longer trips. Consequently, it is not a surprise that ANTHROPOMORPHIC has been performed and recorded in three parts in Utrecht / The Netherlands, Wroclaw / Poland, and Moscow / Russia.
PART III. Evolving is human. Hilary Jeffery's trombone returns from his trip. Jason Köhnen's bass, Eelco Bosman's guitar, and Ron Goris' drums lay the groundwork. Gideon Kiers' electronics reinforce the atmosphere tinted by Charlotte Cegarra's sparse vocals. Sarah Anderson's violin dares a rare melody. Free will is human. The instruments exchange their roles and dominate their players. Space. Dimension. Form. Function. The anthromorphism, the true and deep nature of improvisation, is complete.
Despite being recorded in three segments, ANTHROPOMORPHIC is a coherent single entity and is based on a plan, like all the TMFDC improv sessions. Following this plan, TMFDC have created another mesmerizing, exalted, disturbing, and atmospheric piece of art. Always activating different talents of its many members, no album of TMFDC or their studio counterpart THE KILIMANJARO DARKJAZZ ENSEMBLE resembles the other, and ANTHROPOMORPHIC makes no exception.

IROHA – S/T 2xCd / 2xLP
Finally the first full lenght from Andy Swan's new project IROHA. It includes 2 different mixes of the album and several remixes of befriended artists like JESU or TRANSITIONAL.
Andy Swan - born in Birmingham, England. At the age of 12 Andy became interested in the punk and post-punk music scene of the late 70's and early 80's. At the age of 16 Andy met justin broadrick (godflesh, jesu) and, discovering their mutual love of bands as diverse as Throbbing Gristle, Joy Division, Crass and Swans, formed the experimental electronics outfit, Final. With an eye on the burgeoning Power Electronics scene they based their sound around harsh tones, twisted tape loops, structured noise and recorded samples. Another chance meeting led to nic bullen (napalm death) joining Final for several recording sessions. With a growing library of recorded material, Andy and Justin created post mortem rekordings. as an outlet for Final's material. Based around the DIY ethic of punk, this tape-only label not only released all of Final's early output but also material by other like-minded groups such as Un-Kommunity (featuring Tim Gain now of Stereolab), Con Dom and Grey Wolves.
After gradually becoming creatively dis-illusioned with the dance scene it was only after meeting up again with Justin Broadrick and Nic Bullen in 2007 that Andy decided to return to a more experimental, guitar-based sound. Combining his love of shoe-gaze with the melancholic 80's sound of New Order, Andy created Iroha, naming his new project after a Japanese poem.
Early 2010 IROHA joined Denovali Records to release a collaboration record with FRAGMENT. from France. Now they're back with their first full length. The clou concerning this debut is the fact that people are getting two cds / lps with 2 different mixes and several remixes of befriended artists. With an eye on the burgeoning Power Electronics scene they based their sound around harsh tones, twisted tape loops, structured noise and recorded samples. Another chance meeting led to nic bullen (napalm death) joining Final for several recording sessions. With a growing library of recorded material, Andy and Justin created post mortem rekordings. as an outlet for Final's material. Based around the DIY ethic of punk, this tape-only label not only released all of Final's early output but also material by other like-minded groups such as Un-Kommunity (featuring Tim Gain now of Stereolab), Con Dom and Grey Wolves.
After gradually becoming creatively dis-illusioned with the dance scene it was only after meeting up again with Justin Broadrick and Nic Bullen in 2007 that Andy decided to return to a more experimental, guitar-based sound. Combining his love of shoe-gaze with the melancholic 80's sound of New Order, Andy created Iroha, naming his new project after a Japanese poem.
Early 2010 IROHA joined Denovali Records to release a collaboration record with FRAGMENT. from France. Now they're back with their first full length. The clou concerning this debut is the fact that people are getting two cds / lps with 2 different mixes and several remixes of befriended artists. Disc one features the original IROHA mix from Andy Swan. Disc two includes a finish from JUSTIN K. BROADRICK and several remixes of TRANSITIONAL, JESU and BLACK GALAXY.
