FIRE AT WILL from Toulouse released, after there EP in 2007, there first full-length on Chorus Of One Records in january this year.
This four piece plays a fairly traditional mix of 90s style and modern metallic hardcore. Think DOWN TO NOTHING with the melodic sensitivities of COMEBACK KID and maybe even a little bit of 88 FINGERS LOUIE (a band they’ve been on a tribute comp for, and not-so-coincidentally, this LP was mastered by Mr. Dan Precision from RISE AGAINST). Vocalist Quentin Rettig has as unique a growl as I have ever heard in hardcore, a strained amalgamation of Euro-accented Ray Cappo yelp and screamin’ Daryl Palumbo. It’s mostly pleasant, acceptably aggressive, and occasionally wretched. [www.pastepunk.com] And now there're ready to hit the european roads again!!
OFF THE HOOK from Berlin was formed in 2008 with the single goal of having all the fun you can possibly get out of playing in a band. They play melodic hardcore-punk with aggressive, but always sympathic vocals! Everyone in the room can feel, that they have always fun and love what they do!! This five piece toured a lot in the last half year. In winter they played some shows together with Cornered, Downpresser and The Effort and in march 2011 they are on tour together with We will Fly all over europe. Now, in June 2011 they will release their first 7" and want to get back on the track for the third time this year!!
