A PLEA FOR PURGING - The life & death of A Plea For Purging CD/DoLPcol 10.90/18.90 EUR

METAL-HARDCORE. A PLEA FOR PURGING have never been a band to stay in the proverbial box. Their new album, "The Life & Death Of A Plea For Purging," proves, yet again, how versatile and multifaceted these musicians really are. The excellent brutality that Plea has cultivated over the years is present on this follow-up to the critically acclaimed "The Marriage Of Heaven And Hell," but also on the new album, existing in perfect harmony with the metallic Hardcore they've become known for, are some intense acoustic tracks. Vinyl version includes digital download. (2011/FACEDOWN)

-----------------------------------------------------------
ABOUT:BLANKS, THE - 12 boring blasts LP 11.50 EUR

PUNK. If this is how boredom sounds....well then let me dwell in Bore-o-Rama forever SHAKIN' my NASTIES, compulsively fidgeting with my MOORAT FINGERS in forbidden privates and blasting this record while trying not to stain Vanessa del Rio's shirt like a FRANTIC ROMANTIC. Jasper Hood and Daniel Distraction have been dauntless Knights of Kings Assi's Round Punkrock Table since the beginning of time. Together with Don Lotzo of the SHOCKS and Chris Blank of THE BOTTROPS they ride once more as THE ABOUT:BLANKS and do what they do best: Unsheate the Punkrock sword to kill the mainstream dragon with some fabulous '77 sound that oozes with sticky melodies and snotty vocals. We all grew up listening to the traditional ditties of the BUZZCOKS, THE SEX PISTOLS and COCK SPARRER and today the MODERN PETS, THE BRIEFS (and all their follow-up projects) and the ABOUT:BLANKS make sure we will always go back to blank in our heads. Let's all surrender to insanity while ''Kill your boyfriend'', ''Your pretty face is going to the jobcentre'' or ''I don't wanna be a homosapien'' fill the white space of our padded cell. The last song ''Come again'' even has some SPITS like synthie lines that are suitable for funeral play. Seriously boring shit THE ABOUT:BLANKS come up with on this record that will help you empty out your exciting life, Punk! (2011/P. TRASH)

-----------------------------------------------------------
AGAINST EMPIRE - Thieves and leeches LP 11.90 EUR

HARDCORE-PUNK. AGAINST EMPIRE unleash their latest onslaught of Hardcore Punk with in the form of the ''Thieves and Leeches'' LP. Seven new tracks, plus a CRUCIFIX cover highlight their knack for mixing classic 80s style Hardcore with hints of more modern Crust Punk influences. The recording is clean but powerful, with post-production mastering handled at Jack Control's Enormous Door Studios. AGAINST EMPIRE have been around for several years now and have previously released a full-length LP, a split LP with ISKRA, a split 7" with AUKTION and more. If you have not yet heard AGAINST EMPIRE then now is the time to get started! (2011/PROFANE EXISTENCE)

-----------------------------------------------------------
ALPINIST - Minus Mensch LP 10.50 EUR

HARDCORE. Repressed on 180 gram Vinyl and with a blue cover! After their demo and their split LP with FINISTERRE, this is the third release by this outstanding band from Münster/Germany. These four young people have played countless shows in Europe and should be well known for all those into contemporary melodic Hardcore sound with a hint of modern Crust. Definetly one of the best bands in this genre coming from Germany at the moment. An almost 40min. thunderstorm in 11 acts, paired with a voice of dispair and accompanied by blistering melodies. (2011/ALERTA ANTIFASCISTA)

-----------------------------------------------------------
ANIMALS AS LEADERS - Weightless LP/CD 18.90/13.90 EUR

METAL. Animals As Leaders' second full-length is another venture into modern Metal, pushing the boundaries of genre-defying compositions. The diversity and technicality of their music has enabled them to tour with a wide variety of acts like DEFTONES, UNDEROATH, CIRCA SURVIVE, BETWEEN THE BURIED AND ME, THURDAY, and even DECAPITATED. Heavy 180g vinyl version includeing download card. (2011/PROSTHETIC)

-----------------------------------------------------------
ARMALITE - Humungous 7''col 4.20 EUR

PUNK. Three poppy and speedy Punk pearls that reminds of the wole mid/late 90s LOOKOUT! catalogue. On board are Adam of ATOM & HIS PACKAGE, Mike of KILL THE MAN WHO QUESTIONS and AMATEUR PARTY and Dan of LIFETIME, KID DYNAMITE and PAINT IT BLACK. Political lyrics and fun to top it all. Fine relase with a digital download code. (2011/NO IDEA)

-----------------------------------------------------------
AS I LAY DYING - Decas CD 12.90 EUR

METAL-HARDCORE. To celebrate their tenth anniversary, San Diego, CA Metal juggernauts AS I LAY DYING present "Decas" that features not only new material, but covers of bands like SLAYER, JUDAS PRIEST and DESCENDENTS, and a few remixes and more surprises. (2011/METAL BLADE)

-----------------------------------------------------------
AUDACITY - Power drowning LP 11.90 EUR

HARDCORE-PUNK. From the first few chords AUDACITY remind you of JERRY'S KIDS. Like very early JERRY 'S KIDS, as well as a slew of other early '80's bands, but 1 minute into a song everything changes and they sound like The BANANAS! The day they all graduated from high school they left for their first US tour. They even do "Dicks Hate Police" by THE DICKS. Split release with Burger Records! (2011/RECESS)

-----------------------------------------------------------
BOMB, THE - The challenger 11'' 10.90 EUR

PUNK. Four new songs, plus four recorded live in the studio. Goddammit, it's 2011. If you don't care about NAKED RAYGUN by now, there is no hope for you. I digress. THE BOMB is pure electrifying Chicago Punk Rock at its absolute finest. Whoa-fucking-oh!! Four new songs + four recorded live in the studio, featuring a guest appearance by Vic Bondi (ARTICLES OF FAITH) and J Robbins (GOVERNEMNT ISSUE, JAWBOX, OFFICE OF FUTURE PLANS). Includes download code! (2011/NO IDEA)

-----------------------------------------------------------
BOTCH - We are the Romans (deluxe edition) DoCD 17.50 EUR

POST-HARDCORE. Available again. Thought to be the finest hour from this Seattle, WA noise/metal/hardcore group, "We Are The Romans" influenced today's generation of bands with complex song structures and unmatched musicianship. Double-CD edition featuring the original recording remastered plus bonus live tracks and the entire album in its hi-fidelity demo version. (2011/HYDRA HEAD)

-----------------------------------------------------------
CAPITALIST CASUALTIES / NO COMPLY - Split 7'' 4.70 EUR

POWERVIOLENCE. Think of the most amazing Powerviolence splits of the past - CROSSED OUT/MAN IS THE BASTARD, INFEST/PHC, AGENTS OF SATAN/NO LESS, GODSTOMPER/SHORT HATE TEMPER, SPAZZ/CHARLES BRONSON, ASSHOLEPARADE/ANSOJUAN - just to get your mind going. The power of the split record and smushing two of the best bands of a genre onto one record is so amazing. This split right here should have been thrown together in the 1990s, and I should still be a pre-teen, but somehow it is 2011. CAPITALIST CASULATIES dug deep in the vaults to find a crisp sound board recording from 1994. The recording was taken and cleaned up off the original tape and mixed down. In fact, this is the same set, different songs, from the ''Live Butchery'' EP that is completely impossible to find. NO COMPLY material is an equally amazing time capsule of music. Their recordings were pulled off a long lost DAT tape that Justin found while pulling material together for a potential NxCx discography. The material was literally forgotten about and it happens to be an old studio recording of material that was going to be for a split with CHARLES BRONSON on 625 Thrashcore in 1997. The icing on this cake is that Travis Ginn from ASSHOLEPARADE makes an appearance splitting vocals on all but one of NO COMPLY’s tracks. Both sides provide 1990s Powerviolence as played then for all obvious reasons. This is both a Powerviolence DeLorean ride and something both bands are exceptionally proud of to this day. Record comes with DIY digital download card for MP3s of each side. (2011/TO LIVE A LIE)

-----------------------------------------------------------
CONFESSION - The long way home LPcol 10.50 EUR

METAL-HARDCORE. After two punishing full-lengths on Australian label Resist, CONFESSION bring their brand of modern Metal stateside with "The Long Way Home." The band features former I KILLED THE PROM QUEEN vocalist Michael Crafter and has already appeared worldwide touring alongside bands like PARKWAY DRIVE, FOR THE FALLEN DREAM, MISERY SIGNALS and many others. (2011/TWELVE GAUGE)

-----------------------------------------------------------
CRIMINAL CODE - Same 7'' 5.70 EUR

PUNK. In an incredibly short amount of time, Tacoma’s CRIMINAL CODE has risen out from their home city’s tough guy stronghold to become one of the best bands currently active in the Pacific Northwest. Their sound could be likened to the classic diy lo-fi buzz saw melodies of early HÜSKER DÜ combined with distant shouted vocals reminiscent of some certain Post-Punk touchstones all the while driving home that they are indeed a Punk
band first and foremost. This follows up a demo that quickly sold out and precedes them entering Buzz of Howl Studios with Stan Wright to record their follow up 12" for Inimical Records. (2011/INIMICAL)

-----------------------------------------------------------
CROWSKIN - Black lava LP 10.50 EUR

SLUDGE/DOOM. After various split releases (with BLACK SHAPE OF NEXUS and BLACK FREIGHTER ) and compilation appearances, CROWSKIN come up with their first full length album, once again exploring the depths of slow, heavy and brutal Sludge / Doom. The record delivers 4 lenghthy tracks that pend from super-sick slo-mo brutality to bulldozer grooves, from vast melancholic elegies to weird noise freak outs and even some thrash outbursts displaying the Hardcore background of these doom punkers. Enjoy the feeling of being buried by a slow flooding, yet unstoppable lava of thick, black sound! (2011/VENDETTA)

-----------------------------------------------------------
DEMON'S CLAWS - Lost in the desert part deux LP 14.50 EUR

GARAGE-PUNK. The latest, and perhaps final installment in the “Lost in the Desert” series, LITDPD expands on DEMONS CLAWS' catalog by reaching deep into its fiery bowels to retrieve 14 rare tracks. Songs range from album demos, infamous Atlanta sessions, live recordings and more. Limited to 500, Lost in the Desert - Part Deux is a quintessential release for any DEMON'S CLAWS fan! (2011/TELEPHONE EXPLOSION)

-----------------------------------------------------------
DOOM - Police bastard 7'' 4.50 EUR

HARDCORE-PUNK. Restock! UK neo-D-Beat legends DOOM are going to be playing several dates in the USA during the month of May. To coincide with this previously inconceivable event, PE repressed their classic ''Police Bastard'' EP one more time. This pressing will use up the final stash of covers leftover from the last pressing (about 2005?) and will probably never happen again on PE Records. Best (old school) DOOM to get! NOTE: Comes with slightly different cover, i.e. exchanged symbol on the bobby's helmet... for European (german) import... duh! (2011/PROFANE EXISTENCE)

-----------------------------------------------------------
DOWNTOWN STRUTS, THE - Sail the seas dry 10''col 11.50 EUR

PUNK. Through brief stints in Arizona and San Francisco, CA, recording demos, and playing shows, the band defined their sound and returned to their hometown of Chicago, IL. "Sail The Seas Dry" is truly a chronicle of their experiences with luck, love and life on the road. This is leaning heavily on THE CLASH, RANCID, SOCIAL DISTORTION and Americana Sound of BRUCE SPRINGSTEEN that made GASLIGHT ANTHEM famous. Rough and melodic blue collar in the vein of SWINGIN' UTTERS, CLASH, THOSE UNKNOWN and DUCKY BOYS. First class singalong stuff!. This extended vinyl re-release of the "Sail The Seas Dry" EP has two additional tracks recorded in the same session and is available on blue vinyl with a limited edition tour poster and sticker. 10" includes digital download. (2011/PIRATES PRESS)

-----------------------------------------------------------
DRAINLAND / TRENCHES - Split LP 10.50 EUR

NOISECORE. Damn! a split with epic proportions. DRAINLAND offer 3 songs of noise-drenched Hardcore. Slow, fast, heavy and powerful. For fans of UNRUH, NOOTHGRUSH and DYSTOPIA. TRENCHES on the other side come with their first output on vinyl. One song that lasts for about 14 minutes. I guess they could be best compared to a mixture between IRE and ISIS (''Celestial'' period). Riffing, groove, dark and just simply great. Co-released with De Grannrepubliek and Headwrecker. (2011/VENDETTA)

-----------------------------------------------------------
FALL OF EFRAFA / DOWN TO AGONY - Split DoLP 16.50 EUR

CRUST-HARDCORE. FALL OF EFRAFA from Brighton, UK are mournful epic crust in the vein of REMAINS OF THE DAY, MADAME GERMEN and WOLFBRIGADE. Emotive guitars weaving over brutal d-beat. DOWN TO AGONY from Zaragoza, Spain comes along with down tuned crushing neo crust fusing the sound of KKAIA and HIS HERO IS GONE with insatiable screams and intricate melodies. (2011/ALERTA ANTIFASCISTA)

-----------------------------------------------------------
FAMILY CURSE - Julia Armant 7'' 5.70 EUR

POST-PUNK. FAMILY CURSE are a four-piece Post-Punk band from Brooklyn, NY, that utilize the aggressive approach to the word "post". They take arty '90s Punk and revive it through energy and tempo rather than purely mood. Fans of MONORCHID, DRIVE LIKE JEHU, and anything angular take note. The band features ex-members of GOLDEN ERROR, BLOOD CITY, GLOOMS, and RIBBONS. This two track 7' is their debut. (2011/DRAWING ROOM)

-----------------------------------------------------------
FEAR OF LIPSTICK - EPII 7'' 5.50 EUR

PUNK. The second 7" by this Ottawa based Power-Pop Punk band is simply called "EPII". You get 4 poppy Garage Punk tunes fueled by post-teenage angst, relationship problems and self-pity. File under: STEVE ADAMYK BAND, STATUES or MARKED MEN, BRIEFS. (2011/FUCKING SCAM)

-----------------------------------------------------------
FEAR OF LIPSTICK - Same LP/CD 13.90/13.90 EUR

PUNK. They're good friends of the Ottawa scene from the East Coast of Canada! Self-titled debut album is a slice of everyday life, love and social commentary set to the tune of straight-forward Pop-Punk Rock. They play it passionate; giving it all they got. The guitars are loud, bright and punchy as all hell, the bass is fast and frisky, the drums get it done, and the lead vocals go for the guts every time. This is a summertime album all the way. File under: STEVE ADAMYK BAND, STATUES or MARKED MEN and BRIEFS. (2011/IT'S ALIVE)

-----------------------------------------------------------
FINAL CLUB - Blank entertainment LP 10.50 EUR

POST-ROCK. FINAL CLUB from DENTON, TX features ex-members of TEENAGE COOL KIDS.) They play sneery, melodic Indie Rock with a tendency to lean on the tremolo bar. Confident and loud. It sometimes also reminds of LES SAVY FAV and other 90s mathy Rock band ans has a great Garage edge to it, too. … it’s catchy and edgy at the same time. A great debut record. (2011/ADAGIO 830)

-----------------------------------------------------------
FOUR YEAR STRONG - In some way, shape, or form LP/CD 14.90/12.90 EUR

HARDCORE/POP-PUNK. Worcester, MA outfit FOUR YEAR STRONG continue to move up in the world, releasing 2011's "In Some Way Shape Or Form" fresh off a big tour with BAD RELIGION and RISE AGAINST. Their brand of music mixes melodic Hardcore and poppy Punk with trudging breakdowns similar to A DAY TO REMEMBER but covered in beards. (2011/UNIVERSAL)

-----------------------------------------------------------
FUNERAL ORATION - The Godsent LP LP 11.90 EUR

PUNK. This is the vinyl-version of FUNERAL ORATIONs´ "Godsend demo" from 1984, which was only available on its original tape-format and as a very shitty bootleg released a few years ago! The material on this demo is one of the best and intense recordings FUNERAL ORATION ever did and it´s a pity that it hasn´t been available as a proper release in the last 20 years! For those who are not familiar with the band: FUNERAL ORATION were one of the longest running and most influential bands from Holland playing snotty and angry Punk/Hardcore, which became very special throught the melodic vocals! They also could be called the European version of HÜSKER DÜ! (2011/PAIN OF MIND)

-----------------------------------------------------------
FUTURE NOW, THE - Hangman/The runaway 7'' 4.50 EUR

INDIE-ROCK. Gainesville's The FUTURE NOW return with a triumphant follow-up to last year's "Hazy Orange Sunday" with 2 songs that delve further into 90's Alternative-Rock worship while adding a jarring heaviness to their sound. On the A side, "Hangman" navigates the shadows between "Bleach" and "Nevermind" with a thick, aggressive lead, while the B side offers a mellower and melodic number reminiscent of DINOSAUR JR. or The LEMONHEADS. (2011/SOUND STUDY)

-----------------------------------------------------------
GOOD LUCK - Without hesitation LP/CD 10.90/10.90 EUR

PUNK. GOOD LUCK is, without hesitation, the most positive group of people in one band possible. This exuberant wellspring is tapped on each and every song, even the heartfelt and downtrodden ones. In any other hands, the noodling would be too noodley. The sugar would be too delicious. Somehow the intricacy and curious time signatures melt away, taking a back seat to the overtly catchy and triumphant choruses. Charmingly humble and possessing a wickedly sharp wit, these songs are as fine as they come. This band deserves to be massive, thought they would probably be just as happy opening for Ted Leo on a world tour. Plus download code. (2011/NO IDEA)

-----------------------------------------------------------
GOVERNMENT ISSUE - Same LP 11.90 EUR

HARDCORE-PUNK. Another installment in the GOVERNMENT ISSUE reissue series, this 1986 self-titled effort has been out of print for 20 years and has not been remastered by Tom Lyle and includes 4 bonus songs. Features Steve Hansgen of MINOR THREAT on bass. Produced by Brian Baker (Bad Religion, Dag Nasty, Minor Threat). (2011/DR. STRANGE)

-----------------------------------------------------------
H2O - Don't forget your roots LP/CD 11.50/10.90 EUR

HARDCORE. Releasedate 15.11.2011. H2O has been a mainstay in hardcore and punk since their inception back in 1995 and have had many influences along the way. The band is thrilled to pay homage to those influential artists by covering their songs on Don’t Forget Your Roots. H2O tips their hat to band like the Ramones, Dag Nasty, Madball, Rancid, Circle Jerks, Descendents, Cro-Mags, Bad Brains, The Clash, Government Issue, Verbal Assault, Gorilla Biscuits, Mighty Mighty Bosstones, 7 Seconds, Embrace, Social Distortion, Sick Of It All and Warzone. (2011/BRIDGE NINE)

-----------------------------------------------------------
HANDGUNS - Anywhere but home MLP 8.50 EUR

PUNK. The first 12'' EP from Pennsylvania's HANDGUNS features 7 tracks of heart-filled Pop Punk in the vein of The WONDERY YEARS and FIREWORKS. (2011/BETTER DAYS)

-----------------------------------------------------------
HANDGUNS / FOREVER CAME CALLING - Split 7''col 5.90 EUR

PUNK. Two of melodic Punk's up and coming bands team up to bring 3 tracks each of melodic and heartfelt Punk that pulls at the heartstrings. 7" includes digital download. (2011/PURE NOISE)

-----------------------------------------------------------
HAWKS AND DOVES - Year one LP/CD 10.90/10.90 EUR

SINGER/SONWRITER/ROCK. Gared had a very crappy year. Essentially, his band broke up, and life dumped him. Bummer! Apparently, all that misery combined with anxiety attacks and excessive drinking make you want to escape your nightmarish existence, so Gared came to Gainesville to "record his solo album". While he was here, he was befriended/rescued by none other than guitar/bass maestro Chad "Malibu" Darby. Along the way, George "Rebel with an O" Rebelo inadvertently got roped into helping write keyboard parts (awesome chimes, man!) and a wee bit of drumming while he was at it. Other supporting players include the illustrious Jon Gaunt, Matt Radick, and Chris Wollard. The resulting album is as bleak as it is depressing. It also features the most blatant MOTOWN/AFGHAN WIGS bites of Gared's fabulous musical career. To say that there are pop nuggets lurking within this seething document of a life collapsing on itself is an understatement. This is Mr. O'Donnell at his most honest and transparent. Despite it all, "Year One" is a cathartic and genuinely uplifting experience. Includes download code! (2011/NO IDEA)

-----------------------------------------------------------
HEARTLESS - Hell is other people CD 11.50 EUR

HARDCORE. Vinyl version available ca. 25.11.2011. HEARTLESS is an abrasive, dark, and dirty metallic Hardcore band hailing from the steel city of Pittsburgh, PA. Their style can be associated with Powerviolence, yet incorporates the crunch of INTEGRITY, straight up Crust Punk and burly, bottom-heavy Hardcore like NAILS and CURSED. Over the past few years, HEARTLESS has released numerous 7"s on small DIY labels leading up to the recording/release of "Hell Is Other People." (2011/SOUTHERN LORD)

-----------------------------------------------------------
HOT WATER MUSIC - The Fire, The Steel, The Tread b/w Up To Nothing 7''col 5.50 EUR

POST-HARDCORE. First new recordings by HOT WATER MUSIC in 7 years. Featuring new songs "The Fire, The Steel, The Tread" and "Up To Nothing," and the EP presents 2 blistering Post-Hardcore tracks that mark a return to HWM's early Punk glory while taking into account the years of growth apart. (2011/HWM)

-----------------------------------------------------------
IN DEFENCE - Party lines and politics LP 11.90 EUR

HARDCORE-PUNK. Fourteen tracks of spastic Ritalin-fueled Hardcore-Thrash from the toxic underbelly of Minneapolis-St Paul. Caustically sarcastic lyrics spewed over super crushing guitar riffs and relentless machine gun-like percussion. IN DEFENCE are definitely hometown favorites (usually drawing bigger crowds than the touring bands they support), have a relentless tour schedule, and are comfortable playing with bands from across the Hardcore / Punk / Metal spectrum. IN DEFENCE have several previous releases out on Learning Curve, Give Praise, Scene Credentials and World Won't Listen Records and have been likened to a cross between MUNICPAL WASTE meets CODE 13. Several members of the PE team ventured out during a blizzard to participate as guest vocalists on this recording! (2011/PROFANE EXISTENCE)

-----------------------------------------------------------
LA DISPUTE - Somewhere at the bottom of the river between Vega and Altair DoLPcol 17.90 EUR

POST-HARDCORE. Another repress available now! LA DISPUTE is a five-piece band from Grand Rapids, MI. Most frequently referred to as Post-Hardcore (but sometimes also progressive Rock and Screamo), LA DISPUTE has spent the last year of its existence writing and recording their first full-length album "Somewhere at the bottom of the river between vega and altair". Hoping to accurately display their growth as individuals and as an artistic unit, they have created an end product that encourages the listener to think and feel. Drawing its title from an Asian folktale, Somewhere attempts to prompt discussion regarding the aspects of ourselves that prevent us from maintaining our happiness. By documenting both their own experiences and that of those around them, LA DISPUTE musically encourage the listeners to expand their notions of music and art through time signatures, tempos, dynamics, and song structures. The result of countless sleepless nights, exhaustingly precise recording sessions, and a diligence bordering psychosis, Somewhere is far and a way the band’s most mature, articulate, and diverse release thus far-expanding significantly upon the groundwork from its previous two short releases. "Somewhere at the bottom of the river between Vega and Altair" attempts to display an unceasing passion for art, emotion, love, community, and any other aspect of life that inspires humanity to create for the better. (2009/NO SLEEP)

-----------------------------------------------------------
LIKE MOTHS TO FLAMES - When we don't exists CD 14.50 EUR

METAL-HARDCORE. LIKE MOTHS TO FLAMES features Chris Roetter who fronted EMAROSA and AGRACEFUL. Their debut full-length, "When We Don't Exist," has the popular formula of huge breakdowns and huge choruses, managing to blend the two flawlessly unlike so many of their contemporaries. The big tours started to happen even without a proper full-length; they're a part of the annual Thrash And Burn Tour which this year features WINDS OF PLAGUE, CHELSEA GRIN, and AS BLOOD RUNS BLACK. (2011/RISE)

-----------------------------------------------------------
LUCERO - That much further west DoLP/CD 19.50/12.50 EUR

PUNK/ALTERNATIVE COUNTRY. Sometimes hearing a certain song can bring you back to a specific place in time, and although LUCERO's sound has evolved dramatically over the past thirteen years, you'd be hard-pressed to find a fan who doesn’t consider the band's 2003 release ''That Much Further West'' to be one of those albums that defies genre and trends. While the band's early recordings also contain plenty of inherent magic, ''That Much Further West'' was a turning point for LUCERO in the sense that it finally saw their songwriting skills sharpened dangerously enough to match the infectious energy of their live performances. Unfortunately for vinyl fans ''That Much Further West'' was only pressed once as a very limited run back in 2003, and many collectors have had to pay outlandish prices to own original copies of the LP. Enter Sabot Productions who are following up their recent vinyl editions of 2005’s ''Nobody’s Darlings'' and 2006's ''Rebels, Rogues & Sworn Brothers'' as well as Ben Nichols’ 2009 solo debut ''The Last Pale Light In The West'' with a double edition of ''That Much Further West'', which also includes an extra LP of bonus material taken from the original sessions. 180g double LP, includes download code! MIND AS PRISON - Maryland Grindcore 7'' 4.70 EUR

GRNDCORE. There is something powerful in the water in the area in and above our state’s capital. That power has seeped out and created some mutant musicians who play Grindcore more insane than any others. First it
spawned MAGRUDERGRIND, then it birthed TRIAC, then there was A WARM GUN, following later was DISCIPLES OF CHRIST, and finally from the goo of infernal blasterdom came MIND AS PRISON. MAP plays masterful Baltimore Grindcore. Superior blasting, raw classic Metal chops thrown in on top of a huge wall of noise. Imagine P.L.F. if they got all raged out on DEATH and NASUM. Still having trouble believing this record exists? Like the jaded Toxic Avenger of Grindcore, they will knock you out with the mop of blasting justice. They simply won’t waste your time. (2011/TO LIVE A LIE)

OH SEES, THEE - Carrion crawler / The dream LP/CD 13.90/11.90 EUR

PUNK. Releasedate 08..1.2011. Thee Oh Sees chase the home-brewed symphonies of Castlemania with the scrappy, high-wire hooks of Carrion Crawler / The Dream. Originally envisioned as two EPs, it was cut live to tape in less than a week at Chris Woodhouse’s Sacramento studio in June, reflecting the battering-ram bent of the band’s live show better than any bootleg ever could. “As I’m sure most would agree,” explains Dwyer, “Castlemania was more of a vocal tirade. This one’s meant to pummel and throb.” (2011/IN THE RED)

-----------------------------------------------------------
OWEN - Ghost town LP/CD 13.50/11.50 EUR

INDIE. "Ghost Town" is the 2011 album from Mike Kinsella, aka OWEN. Kinsella is best known for his other bands AMERICAN FOOTBALL and CAP'N JAZZ and has developed a cult following as OWEN. Whereas previous OWEN albums have been more somber affairs, touring with CAP'N JAZZ in 2010 had a direct impact with the recording/writing of "Ghost Town." As a result, the album features some of OWEN's loudest, rock-leaning moments to date - exemplified by the forcefully crescendoing outro of "I Believe" and the screeching electric guitar solo in "Everyone's Asleep In The House But Me." Vinyl version includes free album download. (2011/POLYVINYL)

SAVIOURS - The eye obscene / Crete'n MLP 10.50 EUR

NOISECORE. Limited to 666 copies on 180 gram deluxe vinyl and heavy cover! The main influence on this album was to go back to where SAVIOURS started – SABBATH, MAIDEN, MOTÖRHEAD, THIN LIZY… Two tracks taken from the new album. The whole record is a trek through Earth’s demise which everyone contributes to, oblivious or not. It’s a procession toward death. The world has gone insane. Humans have become apathetic, greedy, self-centered, over-medicated, delusional parasites in a filthy, drained and deflated world. It’s hopeless now, too far gone. Now we wait. That’s what this record is about. Earth’s possession and death’s procession. (2011/ALERTA ANTIFASCISTA)

LP includes digital download. (2011/A389)

-----------------------------------------------------------
SHORES - Little one 7''col 4.20 EUR

POST-PUNK. SHORES is one of three bands to ever play a show in our backyard. Unbeknownst to anyone involved, the members of TWELVE HOUR TURN walked up at the same point that SHORES kicked into a cover of their song, "Little One". Curiously, Brian (NEVER a member of NORTH LINCOLN) was borrowing Rich's guitar amp. Weird. Unfortunately Kurt Cobain did not also appear, although it was Halloween at the time. Had he done so, SHORES could've ripped into their even weirder and more depressing version of "Something in the Way". These 2 songs are outtakes from the "To Volstead" session. Fabulous! Includes download code! (2011/NO IDEA)

-----------------------------------------------------------
SHORES - To Volstead LPcol/CD 10.90/10.90 EUR

POST-PUNK. Triumphant second album by this band that traces the dark and vibrant paths of RED HOUSE PAINTERS, BEDHEAD, THE NEW YEAR, CODEINE, LOW, SPAIN, SEAM, and SLOWDIVE. -----------------------------------------------------------
STICKUP KID - The sincerest form of flattery CD 6.50 EUR

INDIE-PUNK. The first full-length from San Jose, CA's STICKUP KID, these 11 songs ramp up the melody and emotion from these kids whose sound is rooted in the recent poppy-Punk explosion of bands like NEW FOUND GLORY, TITLE FIGHT and SET YOUR GOALS. (2011/BETTER DAYS)

-----------------------------------------------------------
TIMESHARES - Bearable LP 11.90 EUR

PUNK. To portray TIMESHARES as anything more than four friends from downstate New York playing passionate, sincere Punk-Rock would be a waste of words. “We became friends through music,” says Mike Natoli, the band's bassist, “...Two years ago we started TIMESHARES together and it feels awesome.” So when these friends found themselves facing a couple of particularly "shitty years" as guitarist Jon Hernandez put it, they banded together to write and record their first full-length ''Bearable''. The band, which includes drummer Eric Bedell, guitarist and Jay Mosher, partnered with Kiss of Death Records and Kind of Like Records for a co-release on both vinyl and digital formats. With a blend of Rock and Punk reminiscent of that sweet spot from the 1990's, ''Bearable'' is sure to be loved by fans of early GET UP KIDS, HOT WATER MUSIC and AVAIL alike. (2011/KISS OF DEATH)

-----------------------------------------------------------
TOUGH LUCK - Fifth column 7'' 4.70 EUR

-----------------------------------------------------------
TRADITIONAL FOOLS - Same LP 13.90 EUR

GARAGE/PUNK. AVAILABLE AGAIN!!! The debut album from San Francisco Garage Rock champions TRADITIONAL FOOLS. Led by TY SEGALL, he band is an energetic, feedback-and-reverb soaked Punk band based in San Francisco. The sounds of the ''Beach Boulevard'' compilation, REDD KROSS, and '60s So Cal Garage Punk bleed through their blown out amps, perfectly blended with their own chaotic originality. This 45rpm 12-inch was recorded live in one day at Wizard Mountain. (2011/MAKE A MESS)

-----------------------------------------------------------
TYVEK - Fast Metabolism LP 13.90 EUR

PUNK. At long last, the vinyl debut of this flawless compilation of TYVEK's early singles. Long out-of-print, and still in high demand, ''Fast Metabolism'' was initially issued as a CDR only release, and quickly caught fire around the world. Hailing from Detroit, and behaving as if WIRE had been the world's only Hardcore band, TYVEK were (and still are) a much needed adrenalin spike through the breast plate. These songs eventually were released as four very hard to find 7-inches between 2006 and 2008. Mastered for precision by TIMOTHY STOLLENWERK, with the vinyl lacquers cut by BOB WESTON, this is a co-production between Brooklyn, New York's M'lady's Records and Portland, Oregon's Water Wing Records. Issued in an edition of 2000 copies, with deluxe tip-on jackets. (2011/WATER WING)

-----------------------------------------------------------
USELESS EATERS - Zulu LP 11.50 EUR

GARAGE-PUNK. After an essential singles on Shattered, Goner, Goodbye Boozy,... and a great first LP on TicTacTotally the USELESS EATERS are back with the third strike: A new 9 song LP. This is timeless unique music, catching the spirit and energy and rage of the first generation of so called Punk bands to the deconstruction and nihilism of weird Post-Punk sound like JOY DIVISION to KBD fucking Punk sound aka LEWD, URINALS or BOBBY SOXX. The songs are sharp, tight and stripped down to bare necessities. Precise staccato guitar riffing matches Seth barking shouts perfectly. A number of major hits here like “Radioactive” where the breathless staccato verse leads to a melodic and flowing refrain. “Sticking Daggers” the kind of timelss Punk song I want to hear! You can hear all the youth anger frustration and disgust in “Filthy Cop”. And you get “The Nausea” with JAY REATARD drumming like a maniac really driving the song onward and Seth’s overdriven voice close to hysteric really desperate shouting “I just wanna leave I don’t know what’s wrong with me!” Definitely gives you the feeling of what state the guys where in. Fans of fellow Memphis Punk bands like FINAL SOLUTIONS, JAY REATARD or DESTRUCTION UNIT will love them. "Zulu" is dedicated to IAN CURTIS & JAY REATARD! (2011/P. TRASH)

-----------------------------------------------------------
WEEKEND DADS - Same 7'' 4.50 EUR

PUNK. WEEKEND DADS get their jam on in the land that lies somewhere between the classic four-chord down-stroking Pop Punk of yesteryear and the shout-it-out-loud super-charged anthems of today's modern Pop Punkers. They've taken two subgenres that have been done to death and put them together in a style that bridges the gap between the sugary sweet and hopelessly bleak. Their debut release is by no means a reinvention of the wheel, but more like a ride through a neighborhood you've been to a thousand times before, only this time you're taking the side streets and alleyways you always overlooked. The best shit is always in places you least expect to find it... places like Moncton, New Brunswick! Includes download code! (2011/IT'S ALIVE)

-----------------------------------------------------------
WOUNDED LION - IVXLCDM LP/CD 13.90/11.90 EUR

GARAGE/POWER-POP. Releasedate 08.11.2011. The group’s sophomore album IVXLCDM is a total ripper. The Lion has grown smarter and meaner with the addition of Lars Finberg (chief Intelligence officer, original pounder for the A-Frames, and current drummer #2 for Thee Oh Sees) nailing it behind the drum kit and adding rich, fucked-futurist guitar action. Recorded by the singular Chris Woodhouse (Mayyors, Karate Party, etc.), the LP sounds dense and purposeful, with clattering, duel-Telecaster strum, tube-amp hum and feel-it-in-your-chest kick drum. IVXLCDM is without a doubt one of the best records of 2011—not just from Los Angeles or the underground, but from the entire spectrum of activity of living things in the universe. (2011/IN THE RED)
