Philadelphia's cult metal/hardcore outfit STARKWEATHER have revealed another track from their upcoming album "Croatoan", entitled "Machine Rhythm Confessional", check it out HERE. The official releasedate for the 2xLP on Belgium's Hypertension Records has been set at September 5th, no word about a releasedate for the CD at this time. "Croatoan" was recorded early 2004 by Pierre Remillard (CRYPTOPSY, GORGUTS, OBLIVEON). The deluxe gatefold vinyl version will feature exclusive artwork by Paul Romano (MASTODON, HATE ETERNAL, EARTH).

Their newest endeavor Croatoan is an album that’s been 2 years in the making. They’ve endured periods of dormancy, but now they have "officially" reawakened with Croatoan, featuring the core line up of Resmini, Forkin, and Rosa, with contributions by Liam Wilson on bass (THE DILLINGER ESCAPE PLAN) and Jim Winters on guitar (EARTH CRISIS, TURMOIL, THE PROMISE), and with additional percussion provided by Tim Simmons. While it’s their first release in nearly a decade, it’s fresh yet vicious, kinda like a grizzly on its first hunt for food after awaking from its hibernation period.
