Die französische Grindcore Band BLOCKHEADS ist bei Relapse Records unter Vertrag genommen worden. Anfang 2013 soll das nächste und mittlerweile fünfte Album der Band erscheinen.

"Relapse Records is proud to announce the signing of French grindcore activists Blockheads. Formed 20 years ago, Blockheads (Xav - vocals, Fred - guitar/vocals, Nico - drums/vocals, Eric - bass/vocals) have unleashed four full-lengths in addition to numerous splits, comps and DVDs. Early 2013 will see the release of their long awaited fifth LP and first full-length in over six years via Relapse! The band commented on the signing:
