Die Band aus Denver USA ist auf Prosthetic Records unter Vertrag genommen worden. Die Band selbst beschreibt sich als "too slow for grindcore, too fast for doom", auf www.myspace.com könnt ihr Euch davon selber überzeugen. Clinging To The Trees Of A Forest Fire veröffentlichten bisher eine EP im Jahr 2006 namens "Harmonies From Bleeding Mouths" und das Album "Omega Drunk On The Blood Of Alpha" (2008) via Debello Recordings.
Sänger Ethan McCarthy schreibt zum Vertrag und über das neue Album:
"Our new CD is being recorded by Dave Otero at Flatline Audio (Cephalic Carnage, Catheter, Cobalt) and it is our most dynamic, bleakest, and dirtiest material to date. We can't wait to go out and tour on this release, and we are proud to be a part of the Prosthetic roster."
