DOOMSDAY - Neues Album
Am 31. März wird die italienische Metalcore Band ihr neues Album "Lay Down And Burn" veröffentlichen. Mit "What We Fight For" gibt es bereits einen Song auf www.myspace.com online.
Offiziell heißt es: "Italy's metal/hardcore band DOOMSDAY are set to release their new digital EP "Lay Down And Burn" on March 31st, 2009 through Eulogy Recordings. "Lay Down And Burn" was recorded and produced in Rome at the Hombre Lobo studio by Doomsday and Valerio Fisik. Vocals were recorded, edited, produced and mixed by Daniele Autore (singer and guitar player of the Italian band Vanilla Sky) and Megha. Mixing was done at at the Hombre Lobo studio in Rome and mastering by Ue Nastasi (Still Remains, Walls of Jericho) at Sterling Sound in NYC. They plan to tour Europe intensively and a 2009 US tour is in the works.
We worked really hard to have this EP to sound refreshing and not so stereotypical like the majority of metal-core records nowadays. This is the most mature and best release so far for us. From the keyboard sounds, guitar riffs, vocals and drumming we moved a big step forward compared to our previous material and we're totally satisfied with the final result. In my opinion this is one of the most competitive records in the genre today!" says guitarist Andrea Campanelli."
