Die belgische Fotografin Brenda Boutsen hat Interviews und Live-Clips von Bands wie ROTTING OUT, EXPIRE und BRUTALITY IT PREVAILS gesammelt und daraus eine ca. 30 minütige Hardcore Dokumentation erstellt. Den Clip könnt ihr Euch nachfolgend anschauen.
Boutsen schreibt offiziell über das "HEARTS AND MINDS" Projekt:
"Hearts and Minds is a fully DIY-project. I love to combine my passion for hardcore music with my passion for photography/film.
THANKS TO: I want to thank every band and every person that told me their thoughts and stories about hardcore. It was a very fun journey, meeting all these great people.
I also want to say thanks to the people and bands I interviewed but didn't make it to the documentary, I just had so much footage and I only wanted to put the best footage in this documentary, otherwise I think it would get too long and boring after a while.
Besides that I would also like to thank my teacher Kristof Vrancken (MAD-faculty) for giving me tips and guiding me through the making of a documentary, my boyfriend for always being there to help me out, and of course to everyone who helped me in some kind of way to make this possible.
Last but not least, I'd definitely like to thank all of you guys for watching this!!
