"Iron Chic just wrapped recording their new album and Bridge Nine Records debut, The Constant One, at their Long Island, NY recording compound. Guitarist Phil Douglas was at the helm (he handled recording duties for Iron Chic's Spooky Action EP as well as their Not Like This LP) while the band laid down ten new tracks that will be released on cd, vinyl and digital formats on November 5th.
Iron Chic is a melodic punk band from Huntington Station, NY. Formed back in 2008, the band released a 5-song demo tape, followed by the Shitty Rambo 7inch the next year, and finally their debut full-length, Not Like This, in 2010 - all on Long Island-based Dead Broke Rekerds. The band garnered quite a bit of attention, not only for their music, but also because they were hailed as a "supergroup" (Punknews.org), featuring members of Latterman, Small Arms Dealer, and more. In the following years, the band released a split 7inch, and toured when they could. Fast forward to 2012, and Iron Chic wrote and recorded what would become the Spooky Action EP, initially offered by via Bandcamp and now made available on vinyl from Bridge Nine.
More information regarding Iron Chic's Bridge Nine full-length will be coming soon."
