MODERN LIFE IS WAR - Band gibt Reunion bekannt

Die Band meldete sich noch einmal zu Wort und bestätigte die Ankündigung des Deathwish Inc. Flyers:
Erfreulicherweise handelt es sich hier wirklich um keinen Aprilscherz! Die Band bekräftigte ihre News nochmal mit folgendem Statement:
Auch auf die Gefahr hin, dass wir einem bösen Aprilscherz zum Opfer fallen - anlässlich des heutigen 01.04.2013 - wollen wir Euch darüber informieren, dass die US Hardcore Band MODERN LIFE IS WAR ein neues Album für dieses Jahr auf www.facebook.com angekündigt hat. Als direkte "Reunion" wolle man es aber nicht bezeichnen (siehe Statement) - wir würden es dennoch als eine solche interpretieren.
Die 2008 aufgelöste Band schreibt, dass sie bereits im September letzten Jahres an einem neuen Album geschrieben hat, welches im kommenden Mai aufgenommen werden und im September 2013 via Deathwish Inc. erscheinen soll.

"Modern Life Is War is an active band again. In September of last year, we wrote an album in John's basement in Marshalltown, which will be recorded at God City in May and released on Deathwish in September. The original lineup of Chris Honeck, Matt Hoffman, Jeffrey Eaton, Tyler Oleson and John Eich will be in place. For what it's worth, we are not approaching this as a 'reunion' but rather as a band with a new record that will be working to contribute something worthwhile. Extensive touring is not in the cards for us at this point. Our first show back will be at This Is Hardcore Fest in August, followed by a record release show in Iowa. We will announce an official release date as well as specific show dates and locations as soon as they are confirmed."

"Ok everyone. The announcement is real in all respects. We have missed you too. Thanks for all the entertaining comments. We are heading out to record a new record our new record in May. We have been working on it for nearly a year and have made that our biggest priority with this reformation and not to see how many "big" shows we can play. This is Hardcore wasn't initially in the plans, but we are honored that Joe has asked us to share the stage with so many great bands and it will be a fun weekend."

"Modern Life Is War apparently have reformed and are playing shows again/releasing a new album through deathwish in September. An it's no April fools. Not sure if its a good thing or not unless they can deliver the goods with a top album."
