Die US Melodic Hardcore Band SINKING SHIPS wird sich für eine Benefiz-Show erneut zusammen finden. SINKING SHIPS hatten sich 2008 aufgelöst.
Die Benefiz-Show findet am 23. Mai mit weiteren lokalen Hardcore Band statt und kommt einer Familie mit "financial and personal troubles" zu Gute.

"Melodic Hardcore band Sinking Ships, will reunite for a benefit pre show to Rainfest May 23rd at The Vera Project in Seattle, WA. The bill will be rounded out by a few other local area hardcore bands. All proceeds from the show will go to benefit a local family who recently ran into financial and personal troubles.
Sinking Ships called it quits in 2008 playing there final show at Sound And Fury Festival in Santa Barbara, CA. During their existence, the band toured the US several times with Shook Ones, Comeback Kid, Ignite, Down To Nothing, and Have Heart among others, international touring saw the band tour Europe, Canada, Mexico, and Japan. The band has released music on Revelation, Run For Cover, 6131, Alliance Trax, Excursion, and self released two 7 inches."
