THE ICEMEN - Sänger Carl Griffin verstorben

Am 27. Dezember 2013 ist Carl Griffin, Sänger der New Yorker Hardcore Band THE ICEMEN offenbar an einem Herzinfarkt verstorben. Griffin war in mehreren Bands tätig, unter anderem auch in der NYHC Formation DYNAMO.
Sein DYNAMO Bandkollege Eddie schrieb in den Kommentaren:
"This man was a NYHC icon and former singer of Agnostic Front- The Psychos (with Billy Milano on bass) - Underdog - (drums) Will Power- (drums) Irate (drums) -The Icemen - Uproar (drums) - M-13 (drums)- Antidote reunion 1994 (Bass & Vocals) If you ask around you will find that he was the originator of the many styles of moshing made famous in the late eighties. Carl paved the way for a lot of frontmen and went unnoticed in the mainstream. Truly a generous and humble person and forever my brother. RIP Carl.......Eddie | M-13 | Dynamo"
