The Process was formed in October of 2004. Guitarist's Peter and Samuel, who had played together in several formations before, met up with drummer Markus and bassplayer Martin in the city of Gothenburg. In the spring of 2005 the band was looking for a singer, and Jacob, who played with Peter in their band Sweet Addiction, applied for the job. The Process was a fact.
Inspired by the present climate in the music industry, The Process was formed to create a perfect symbiosis between hardcore, metal and punk music. Raised by the hardcore era of Refused and At The Drive-In, inspired by the attitude of legends as the Stooges and Dead Boys, The Process captures a raw, uncut punkfeeling to their music. The listener will in the music of The Process also find fragments by acts such as Tragedy, Converge, Angry Samoans, das Oath, the Blood Brothers, Victims, Isis and GBH - it's all a part of the process...
