This is a short and quick update only. I'll provide everyone with further information in upcoming newsletters. Information on every release, on every band, on everything... I'm working on a way better newsletter system at the moment, so in the future everyone should be informed every time there is something you will have to know!

1) Welcome...

BLACK FRIDAY 29
Yes, the rumors are true. Germany's Black Friday 29 signed to Blacktop Records. I'm proud to announce that I'm gonna do their upcoming full-length CD in europe. Black Friday 29 are in the studio right now and they are already done with almost a half of the production. As soon as the recordings are done, I am going to start a preorder with some limited shit. I'll put out another newsletter in late june or early july with further information on this release as well.

ENDSTAND
They released their first demo when I first went to school. It's such a great feeling to release the vinyl version of their upcoming record and to know that another time, the teamwork between Combat Rock Industry and Blacktop is gonna be superb. Blacktop Records honestly loves Finland. So this is going to be a split release between Combat Rock Industry and Blacktop Records. Combat Rock Industry is going to do the CD version and both labels will do the LP. More info soon!

NOTHING TO HIDE
Okay. This by far is one of germany's most promising new breeds. My friends in Let It Ride Records signed this band to do their upcoming 7” and a few days ago, the band finished one more song for a MCD version of their debut release. I'm super siked on working with my friends Jan & Chris in Let It Ride Records and this release is something I'm really looking forward to.

STORM & STRESS
Well, as some of you might have heard, I have a new band. That's it. I'm going to take care of the digital version of this release. It's going to be a five song, but seven track MCD. Some other label will take care of the vinyl version and we'll announce that very very soon, I promise! Expect this shit to hit the streets in late August, followed by some touring.

2) New releases OUT NOW!

So I finally have the JUST WENT BLACK “embracing emptiness” MCD, the IN REMEMBRANCE “we'll always have the memories” CD and END OF A YEAR's “we understand europeans are a sexuel people” vinyls, along with UP THE FURY's “modern culture” vinyls and MCDs. FINALLY!
Check out your favorite distributors. If they don't have this record by now, they should get it pretty soon. PLEASE drop me lines with distros NOT carrying my record so me and my distributor can take care of that.

3) New release OUT SOON!

Okaaay. We will have some slight delays on some releases due to some unexpected problems. BLACK HAVEN's “the cleansing storm” MCD is going to hit the streets in late july. DEATHBED's “veritas” is recorded and we're just about to send it to the pressing plant within the next weeks.
NOTHING TO HIDE's s/t MCD is gonna be at my place within the next three weeks and STORM & STRESS' debut release is almost done.

5) Selling the Van.

Yeah. Sadly, I'll have to sell the van again. So I'm done with van renting at the moment. We (Thelema Booking) nevertheless have a van and will probably have new vans available soon, but Blacktop is out of this business now. Sorry.

6) BLACKTOP Showcases

Okay. I'm so proud to finally finally finally officially announce the first two Blacktop Showcases. Since the roster is growing and growing, I have highly limited capacities and not all of Blacktop's bands can play. I'll definitely get my hands on a festival in 2008 with almost every band. We'll see!
