CATARACT preview page online / record release show contests
Metal Blade Europe have set up a preview page where you can listen exclusively to TWO new CATARACT songs taken from the upcoming album 'Cataract' (to be released March, 22nd in D/A/CH/I, March, 25th in the rest of Europe). And there's some more news straight from the keyboard of the band: "To celebrate our birthday we've decided to run three contests at our release show (taking place on the 20th of March in Zürich). Here's the deal:
1. Crowdsurfer contest: register by emailing to info@cataract.cc . We will pick five people who will be crowdsurfing with some kind of helping device during the show. Whoever lasts longest, wins. It's a no rule match, so you may attack your competitors. Winner gets free entry to all our Swiss shows in 2008 and of course the new CD and a T-Shirt!
2. Fashion Victim Contest: Since we haven't managed to produce a megaselling fashion item, we ask for advice – design your own Cataract garment, move your butt to the merchtable and register. You choose what it will be and how it will look like, can be a serious attempt to future fashion design, can be a request for a beatdown… The winner gets to pick a whole outfit (shirt, zipper, cap, CD) from our merch, so you don't get bullied on the way home!
3. B-day raffle: We will get rid of a bunch of goodies during the night… Every entry gets a number, so everyone has the same chances! There'll be a lot of DC and Kingshot stuff to win!
