-----------------------------------------------------------
7 GENERATIONS - To see the end CD 11.50 EUR

SXE-HARDCORE. Continuing to represent their vegan straight edge ideals, Southern California's 7 GENERATIONS bring nine tracks to their first full-length after multiple EPs and splits, with a 90s hardcore inspired sound that takes cues from CHOKEHOLD and EARTH CRISIS. (2008/NEW AGE)

-----------------------------------------------------------
A.N.S. / CARPENTER ANT - Split 7''col 3.90 EUR

HARDCORE. Originally released as a one sided tour 7" for CARPENTER ANT, and a one sided tour 7" for A.N.S. in 2007 (less than 100 printed of each) -finally released together as a single ep. ANS have been touring all over the place for the past few years (on a full us tour right now). Their texas skate core is similar to a cross between JFA and TEAR IT UP. This is the final nail in CARPENTER ANTs coffin. The band broke up in december and because of constant delays and bands breaking up who were supposed to do this split the record never made it out in time for the last show. Members have gone into other bands like PISSED JEANS and TILE. First press limited to 300 on color vinyl in b&w pocket sleeves. (2008/FAT RICARDO)

-----------------------------------------------------------
ALL THROUGH A LIFE - Cities become ideals 7''col 3.90 EUR

HARDCORE. ALL THROUGH A LIFE formed in 2006, from former members of DEADSURE and KEEP IT CLEAR, and Israel hardcore scene expatriate Zoey Melinek. Looking to return to the music and ideals that brought them to punk and hardcore in the first place, ALL THROUGH A LIFE play driving, impassioned, stripped down hardcore, drawing influence from bands like SHOTMAKER and ORCHID, this is a return to the 80's and 90's emotional hardcore that inspired them to pick up instruments and have a voice in music to begin with. Featuring an original cover painting by Jeremy Forson, on heavy gram, green colored vinyl. (2008/CLUE)

-----------------------------------------------------------
AMERICAN CHEESEBURGER / CANADIAN RIFLE - Split 7'' 3.90 EUR

PUNK. Athens GA's AMERICAN CHEESEBURGER and Chicago, IL's CANADIAN RIFLE team up on this scorching piece of wax. AMERICAN CHEESEBURGER bring 4 more blistering tracks that are sure to insult your intelligence and pummel your ear drums, all the while leaving a wake of mangled, pathetic noobs! The people in the know, already have seemed to found out about Chicago's dirty little secret... CANADIAN RIFLE! They come out with 2 new songs that will warm your cold heart and have you pumping your fist and singing along in no time. This is the party of the summer and your invited! (2008/ROCK BOTTOM)

-----------------------------------------------------------
ANTHONY GREEN - Avalon CD 13.50 EUR

SINGER/SONGWRITER. "Avalon" is a collection of songs written over the past five years by Anthony Green, whose time is mostly spent fronting CIRCA SURVIVE, after previously singing for Saosin. His signature vocals set the tone on every song and are layered over hushed acoustic guitars. The first pressing of "Avalon" will consist of 18 songs in a special limited edition package and once they're gone, it will only be available as a regular version with fewer tracks. (2008/PHOTO FINISH)

-----------------------------------------------------------
ASHERS - Cold dark place 7''/MCD 4.50/5.50 EUR

PUNKROCK. Boasting members of The UNSEEN and CRASH & BURN, Boston, MA's Ashers bring six tracks of anthemic, mid-tempo and somewhat rock 'n' roll influeced punk to this debut EP, complete with studded vests and mohawks. (2008/WELFARE)

-----------------------------------------------------------
BANNER PILOT - Resignation day CD 11.50 EUR

PUNK. BANNER PILOT fits perfectly into the lexicon of modern Minnesota punk rock, drawing influences from local booze hound heroes DILLINGER FOUR as well as taking hints from early Lookout! Records east bay acts like FIFTEEN, PINHEAD GUNPOWDER and various Aaron Cometbus bands. BANNER PILOT also adds some of the midwestern emo sound of the GET UP KIDS and then tops it off with gruff alcohol and cigarette laced Blake Schwarzenback vocals. For fans of JAWBREAKER, DILLINGER FOUR, LAWRENCE ARMS and ALKALINE TRIO. (2008/GO-KART)

-----------------------------------------------------------
BITTER END - Same 7''col 4.50 EUR

HARDCORE. BITTER END are an intense hardcore band from San Antonio, Texas, influenced by the metallic New York hardcore bands of the late 80s and early 90s. With their exhaustive touring and their debut 7”EP "Mind in chains" (Malfunction 2005), they established themselves as a brute force in the hardcore community. Refining their mid-tempo power displayed in their previous release, BITTER END took it to the next level with their debut album, "Climate of fear". Tight production accentuates song after pummeling song, creating a controlled chaos few bands could achieve, paying homage to their influences (CRO MAGS, KILLING TIME, BREAKDOWN. etc) while firmly establishing themselves as part of the new breed of the heavy hardcore elite. This latest effort, a three song self-titled 7” EP, shows BITTER END evolving and sharpening their technical ability and song writing power. Both full tracks “Power Struggle” and “Purgatory” clock in at over four and five bludgeoning minutes respectively. Each song twists and turns with dynamic riffing, potent vocals/lyrics, and bone shaking breakdowns, proving that BITTER END are growing to be true leaders, not followers, in the metallic hardcore sub-genre (2008/MALFUNCTION)

-----------------------------------------------------------
BORN BAD - Tie one on 7'' 3.90 EUR

HARDCORE. Vinyl Addict presents the vinyl release of BORN BAD's 2005 demo, "Tie one on." On this release, the Winnipeg ragers doled out eight tracks of early-'80s inspired American Hardcore that sounds like it could have come out of the Midwest or Boston scenes, taking pages out of the books written by SSD, NEGATIVE FX or The FIX. (2008/VINYL ADDICT)

-----------------------------------------------------------
BRAINDEAD - No conequences LP 10.90 EUR

HARDCORE. Fresh off a split with BLACKBIRDS, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania's BRAINDEAD present their debut full-length "No consequences", which is a natural progression of BRAINDEAD's unique style of blending melody and hooks along with fast paced, aggressive hardcore riffs. "No consequences" features ten tracks of blistering hardcore for fans of AMERICAN NIGHTMARE, TURNING POINT and MODERN LIFE IS WAR. (2008/BURN BRIDGES)

-----------------------------------------------------------
CEREMONY - Still, nothing moves you LPcol 9.90 EUR

HARDCORE. CEREMONY is a hardcore monster. Relentlessly touring for the last three years, CEREMONY made a name for themselves with chaotic and violent live shows. CEREMONY makes no statements of who they are or what they’re trying to be. They are their own powerful and unique force in the world of punk - it’s an alluring, challenging, ugly middle finger to those who call themselves rebellious. 16 songs! (2008/BRIDGE NINE)

-----------------------------------------------------------
CHUCK RAGAN / AUSTIN LUCAS - Bristle ridge CD 11.50 EUR

SINGER-SONGWRITER. CHUCK RAGAN and AUSTIN LUCAS came together with friends and family to record the all acoustic traditional collaboration called "Bristle ridge." The songs that comprise this 12 track release range from bluegrass to folk to grassroots Americana styles. "Bristle ridge" was released by The Ragans on their new mom and pop shop record label known as Ten Four Records. (2008/TEN FOUR)

-----------------------------------------------------------
CIVIL TERROR - Surrounded by assholes LP 9.90 EUR

HARDCORE. Brand new full length from the Netherlands' CIVIL TERROR. Blazing fast metallic thrash-core HC, Like SOD or Mid period RATOS DE PORAO. This record is filled with hate, oozing from every pore. This also brings to mind RUPTURE- Maybe it's the hate? If you're into bands like VOORHEES, NEJATEV SS, RUPTURE, INFEST, SS DECONTOR and others mentioned here you'll probably dig this! (2008/DEMONOMANIA)

-----------------------------------------------------------
COLA FREAKS - Dødt Batteri b/w Nej! 7'' 4.50 EUR

PUNK. Two more top shelf songs from Denmark's COLA FREAKS. They've hit the sweet spot right between GORILLA ANGREB and JAY REATARD fronting LOST SOUNDS!!! It's catchy, dark, and undeniably Danish, rooted firmly in a "Bloodstains Across..." compilation while reaching for modern sounds. Simple, punk, perfect!!! (2008/LOCAL CROSS)

-----------------------------------------------------------
CROM - Hot sumerian nights LP 11.90 EUR

GRIND/METAL. The Los Angeles battle masters are back with another cocaine influenced grind/metal record. It's been quite some time since "The cocaine wars" was released, but alas, CROM returns with more epic riffs than before. Grab your swords and prepare for battle! This LP is limited to 500 copies. (2008/FOREST MOON)

-----------------------------------------------------------
CROSS EXAMINATION - Menace II sobriety LPcol 10.50 EUR

THRASH. CROSS EXAMINATION can be seen on interstates around the country doing intervantinental beer bongs at 88 miles per hour in between vans ("the intervantinental beer bong," note: the drivers do not participate), and even smashing the hell out of their van, lovingly named Crusher, and subsequently destroying it on the side of interstate 55 en route to Chicago. While these crazy antics are entertaining, CROSS EXAMINATION's notorious reputation and undisputed sense of humor has helped them grow a serious fan base (also known as the Awesome Party Squad) and upwards of 50,000 YouTube views of their everyday lifestyle. CROSS EXAMINATION are out of Missouri and they come with a fast metalic thrash sound designed to destroy. Influenced by SLAYER, SUICIDAL TENDENCIES, MANOWAR, NUCLEAR ASSAULT and RKL. (2008/ORGANIZED CRIME)

-----------------------------------------------------------
DERROTA - Asko infinito LP 9.90 EUR

PUNK. New LP of these tireless punks, which in a way summarizes and condenses the 5 years of existance and its evolution as a band. With a crust influenced punk-rock base, they mix elements from death-rock or post-punk making the whole sound very solid, original and outstanding. Political nihilism and social rancour on their lyrics, filthily beautiful artwork. Alltoghether, a fine work of modern punk. Inlcudes a 20 pages booklet-fanzine with translations into english, french, and german and a Larsen cover. (2008/TRABUC)

-----------------------------------------------------------
DIGITAL LEATHER - Sorcerer LP/CD 10.90/10.90 EUR

PUNK. In 2002 DIGITAL LEATHER were two young men playing keyboards: DL Mastermind Shawn Foree and Ryan Wong (Destruction Unit, Tokyo Electron, Reatards). Electronic karate chops and drill sergeant drum simulators created fuzzed out synth punk at warehouse punk shows to punk rock kids that hated keyboards and hated DIGITAL LEATHER. They then had their faces melted. Several similar shows played a role, directly or indirectly, in shaping an underground music revolution. Flash forward several years DIGITAL LEATHER has become a shape shifting force in the new "it" genre of synth punk. With a handful of sold out singles and LPs under his leather jock strap, Shawn Foree is now preparing his magic wand for the masses. He's traded his synthesizer for a guitar, and Ryan Wong for a full band. He's still recording songs himself in a bedroom in Arizona. He brings his band and the a disc of recordings to Memphis, TN for Gonerfest 2, then drops a sonic A bomb of a set at the Buccaneer Lounge in the middle of the afternoon. Luckily it is all captured on multi-track by a crack guerilla recording team. Home recordings from that time become Side A to SORCERER; Side B is the live recording. Layered synthetic sounds come together with stark beats and dry vocals to create a lonely mechanical epic that reminds us of man's impending doom. Chillingly delicate and abrasively aggressive, SORCERER masterfully negotates the spaces between minimal electronic music and ferocious synth punk. (2008/GONER)

-----------------------------------------------------------
FAINT, THE - Fasciinatiion DoLP/DigiCD 16.90/11.50 EUR

ELECTRO/INDIE-ROCK. "Fasciinatiion," The FAINT's fifth album, is the first in the band's ten-year history to be written, recorded, produced, designed and released entirely on their own. It continues on with the band's brand of electronic, dancewave music that not only takes from the '80s goth scene, but incorporates modern indie rock elements. Now available on vinyl with a gatefold cover. (2008/BLANK.WAV)

-----------------------------------------------------------
FORFEIT - Visions CD 9.50 EUR

HARDCORE. In the summer of 2006, drummer Ben Shaw and guitar player Tom Damiano began writing heavy, fast, aggressive music in Ben's bedroom. After laying the foundations for their first songs, vocalist Steve Hornyak and bassist Sean Barr (EARTHQUAKE) added Joe Harrington on second guitar to fill out the FORFEIT roster. The "Visions" 7" is the result of that first year of honing their musical aggressions. For fans of TERROR, BLACKLISTED, COLD WORLD, MADBALL. CD comes with 7 additional bonus tracks. (2008/REAPER)

-----------------------------------------------------------
HAMMER BROS - The kids are dead LP/CD 11.50/7.50 EUR

TRASH-HARDCORE. Combining the sounds of '80s crossover thrash and traditional hardcore, Boston, MA's HAMMER BROS continue to thrive, as evidenced on this, their seven-track debut for Welfare Records. Heavy, chugging riffs, thunderous mosh parts and lightning fast drumming are all used by the Bros to create a sound that mixes SOD, CRO-MAGS, PULLING TEETH and "Crossover"-era DRI. (2008/WELFARE)

-----------------------------------------------------------
HARMS WAY - Same 7'' 3.90 EUR

POWER-VIOLENCE. HARM’S WAY is still as frightening as before, yet the intensity is even more staggering. Musically combining elements of death metal and hardcore with power violence, they create a terrifying aural assault. The rage laden, guttural brutality of the straight edge lyrics is the final straw to horrify and intrigue the listener. In simple terms, Chicago’s HARM’S WAY is a hammer to the listener’s face. (2008/ORGANIZED CRIME)

-----------------------------------------------------------
HELMS ALEE - Night terror CD 12.90 EUR

NOISE-ROCK. Featuring a former member of THESE ARMS ARE SNAKES and HARKONEN, HELMS ALEE are a three piece who dispense tidal waves of noisy sound, all played at a slow pace, not skimping on the heavy, and with a vocal delivery similar to that of BIG BUSINESS. (2008/HYDRA HEAD)

-----------------------------------------------------------
HOLY MOUNTAIN, THE / CAVE CANEM - Split 7'' 3.90 EUR

HARDCORE-PUNK. THE HOLY MOUNTAIN hail from Tampa FL, and play a brutal brand of hardcore punk. Using the d-beat, the blast beat, bitter demented vocals, and fucked-up over the top guitar leads, THE HOLY MOUNTAIN dish out musical violence that has been compared to bands like WORLD BURNS TO DEATH, DRILLER KILLER, FROM ASHES RISE, and DEATHSIDE. Dan from COMBAT WOUNDED VETERAN handles vocal duties and pens bleak, spiteful lyrics railing against atrocities and oppression and the concentrations of power responsible for them! CAVE CANEM from Hannover, Germany play brutal powerful hardcore that combine the pounding, downtuned metal style of MOTÖRHEAD with the brutally powerful presence of TRAGEDY, FROM ASHES RISE and some traditional and modern neo-crust hints. (2008/ALERTA ANTIFASCISTA)

-----------------------------------------------------------
INSOMNIO - Happy loneliness LP 9.90 EUR

PUNK-HARDCORE. Their newest LP and it rocks. Totally killer Spanish punk, but sounds more like early US punk and HC. This is a must have for fans of REAGAN YOUTH, CIRCLE JERKS, ADOLESCENTS, and stuff like that. Col. wax, large poster plus a cool insert make this platter to a must have! (2008/TRABUC)

-----------------------------------------------------------
IRON AGE - The way is narrow (US) 7'' 4.20 EUR

HARDCORE/THRASH-METAL. Now available as U.S. Release! IRON AGE hark back to a time when metal and hardcore music started to crossover. It can't be denied that some freakin' classic albums were made back then! CRO-MAGS, CRUMBSUCKERS, CORROSION OF CONFIRMITY and many others did something different and IRON AGE can be considered part of that league plain and simple. Playing hardcore with a very, very big pinch of (thrash)metal."The way is narrow" contains 2 songs! (2008/PAINKILLER)

-----------------------------------------------------------
LAGWAGON - I think my older brother used to listen to Lagwagon MCD 8.50 EUR

PUNK. Vinyl postponed to 09.09.2008. Despite being Fat's longest-tenured band, LAGAWAGON maintain a sense of humor about their enviable longevity with the title of "I think my older brother used to listen to Lagwagon," but the content of the album is anything but laughable. Never satisfied to rest on their laurels or bask in the glory of past achievements, LAGWAGON once again push the boundaries of genres formerly used to define them. 7 new tracks. (2008/FAT WRECK)

-----------------------------------------------------------
MATT PRYOR - Confidence man CD 13.90 EUR

SINGER/SONGWRITER. This 15-track disc was truly a solo effort - Pryor, the revered front man for the GET UP KIDS and the NEW AMSTERDAMS, wrote, played, sang, recorded and produced the album from his home studio in Lawrence, Kansas. "Confidence man" is an intimate collection of folk-tinged acoustic songs that strip Pryor's skillful songwriting down to its bare, emotive minimum. The storylines are less autobiographical and more observant, with a sophisticated twist. (2008/VAGRANT)

-----------------------------------------------------------
MOCK ORANGE - Captain love CD 12.50 EUR

INDIE-ROCK. For the past ten years MOCK ORANGE have continued to produce some of the best, most interesting and intricate records the genre has to offer. "Captain love" was recorded over the better part of 2007 in Nashville, Tennessee with producer Jeremy Ferguson (Be Your Own Pet, Josh Rouse). Punctuated by the engaging artwork of Kathleen Lolley (My Morning Jacket's "Z"), the album picks up where "Mind is not brain" left off and proves to be MOCK ORANGE's most ambitious and affecting release to date. MOCK ORANGE have reinvented themselves, yet again, combining elements of early 90s indie rock, modern jam bands, and a touch of southern/mid-western hospitality. (2008/WEDNESDAY)

-----------------------------------------------------------
MORNE - Demo 2008 CD 7.50 EUR

CRUST/MEATL. MORNE is a new band from Boston, MA with former members from well known bands such as DISRUPT, GRIEF, and FILTH OF MANKIND. As expected MORNE play dark depressing epic Crust/Metal that hearkens back to the days of AMEBIX and SACRELIGE but also combines influences of more current bands like NEUROSIS and COUNTERBLAST in creating music with lengthy structures and moody ambient soundscapes while still remaining driving and poignant. This is the first recording from a band that will be unleashing a slew of records next year. LP version coming out later next year. (2008/NO OPTIONS)

-----------------------------------------------------------
MOUTH OF THE ARCHITECT - Quietly CD 12.50 EUR

HARDCORE. Ohio's MOUTH OF THE ARCHITECT continue to bring a massive, monolithic sound with eight tracks clocking in at 56 minutes. Their brand of slowed down, atmospheric metal with howled vocals brings to mind later-era NEUROSIS, ISIS or even the heavier moments of MOGWAI. (2008/TRANSLATION LOSS)

-----------------------------------------------------------
MY TURN TO WIN - Weight of the world CD 12.50 EUR

HARDCORE. On their sophomore effort, Philadelphia's MY TURN TO WIN continue to play solid, fast, modern hardcore, not skimping on the breakdowns, sing-alongs, once again bringing to mind bands like BLACKLISTED, GUNS UP! or JUDGE. (2008/AWAKE/STRONG)

-----------------------------------------------------------
OFF MINOR - Some blood LP 11.50 EUR

HARDCORE. The third full length from this influential DIY hardcore band. This album also features original artwork by Nishat Akhtar and guest vocals by Jess Kamen (1905, Fighting Dogs). Includes a free MP3 download of the album. (2008/PARAMNESIA)

-----------------------------------------------------------
PATH TO MISERY - Same DigiCD 9.90 EUR

HARDCORE. PATH TO MISERY carry on the legacy of socially conscious hardcore bands like EARTH CRISIS, CHOKEHOLD, RACE TRAITOR and CIPHER, channeling the rage and frustration of a suicidal culture into a musical form of resistance. Nine songs of heavy protest housed in a beautiful, environmentally responsible digipak, this third release from Southern Empire Records is sure to provoke and challenge the rampant consumerism, imperialism and hubris of a dying empire. (2008/SOUTHERN EMPIRE)

-----------------------------------------------------------
POISON IDEA - More poison less idea 3xCD 16.90 EUR

HARDCORE. For the first time, three complete POISON IDEA CDs with jewel cases and printing have been wrapped together to be made available at a special price. -----------------------------------------------------------
REVEREND PEYTON'S BIG DAMN BAND, THE - The whole fam damnily CD 11.50 EUR

BLUES-PUNK. REVEREND PEYTON, accompanied by his wife and younger brother Jayme, announced themselves to the world after touring nationally with Flogging Molly and Jason Webley. What they bring is a blues sound that could have been brought straight from the Mississippi Delta, complete with washboard and slide guitar, but infuse speed and enough punk attitude to give their beast a life of its own. (2008/SIDE ONE DUMMY)

-----------------------------------------------------------
RHINOCEROS - Buffalo MCD 8.90 EUR

HARDCORE. Buffalo, NY's RHINOCEROS continue to bludgeon audiences with the aptly named "Buffalo," their second release and first EP for Seventh Dagger. Not much has changed this time around, with the band bringing six tracks, including an ANOTHER VITIM cover, of hard, heavy hardcore in the vein of 100 DEMONS and DEATH BEFORE DISHONOR, with strong straight edge convictions. (2008/SEVENTH DAGGER)

PUNK. From the Netherlands, these dudes take influence from ADOLESCENTS, AGENT ORANGE, TSOL, and WIPERS and roll em all into this 4 song ep. It has it's own sound of course, but this is what we can get from it. It's so good you'll want to listen to it over and over and over. (2008/DEMONOMANIA)

-----------------------------------------------------------
SIN ORDEN / CONDENADA - Split 7'' 4.20 EUR

HARDCORE-PUNK. Hailing from the Windy City, SIN ORDEN bring four tracks of fast, pissed off hardcore punk with Spanish vocals, in the same vein as local heroes LOS CRUDOS, with fellow Chicagoans CONDENADA playing three songs of charged up hardcore punk that lean a little more on the melodic punk side with female vocals. 7" comes in a silkscreened cover. (2008/AMOR SIN FRONTERAS DISCOS)

-----------------------------------------------------------
TERRIBLE TWOS, THE - Jerzy the giant CD 13.90 EUR

NOISE-PUNK. TERRIBLE TWOS is a project from Matt Pryor of GET UP KIDS and NEW AMSTERDAMS fame. "Jerzy the giant" features upbeat tracks that vary in musical styles from the thumping mantra of the "Great Big Poop," to the melodic cool rhythms of "Elliott Oooh." Special attention goes to the letter "Y" on "Consonants," Pryor's smoky, fast-talking alphabet tribute while the homegrown themes continue through on "Lily Names Everything Sandy" and "Big Baby J." With 16 wide-ranging songs, the family-friendly "Jerzy the giant" definitely has something for everyone. (2008/VAGRANT)

-----------------------------------------------------------
THERE FOR TOMORROW - Same MCD 6.50 EUR

EMOROCK. Orlando, FL quartet THERE FOR TOMORROW promises to leave audiences with something powerful, poignant and, most importantly, permanent, one spin of the band's Hopeless Records debut EP will provide ample proof. Recorded with multi-time gold record producer James Paul Wisner (Paramore, Underoath, Dashboard Confessional), the self-titled EP captures THERE FOR TOMORROW's driving, technicolor-rich alternative/rock in full bloom. (2008/HOPELESS)

-----------------------------------------------------------
THEY AND THE CHILDREN - Home LPcol 11.90 EUR

HARDCORE. THEY AND THE CHILDREN present their first release for Kill Normal Records, an 8-track effort that sees the band returning to their FROM ASHES RISE and early-ISIS inspired DIY hardcore. Tackling a variety of styles, they seemlessly incorporate thrashing fast parts, huge riffs and melodic interludes. (2008/KILL NORMAL)

-----------------------------------------------------------
TRASH TALK - Same LP 11.50 EUR

HARDCORE. Formed in the fall of 2005 TRASH TALK hit the ground running. Three years of relentless touring, 5 releases and 4 vans later, they are still running at the same frantic pace that has established them as one of the hardest working bands today. With live performances deeply rooted in chaos and a track record to match, TRASH TALK is a band to be seen as well as heard. Nomadic, outcast and poised to release their 6th chaotic outburst, and first LP, TRASH TALK is hungry for more! (2008/REFLECTIONS)

-----------------------------------------------------------
WARTORN - Tainting tomorrow with the blood of yesterday LP 11.50 EUR

Contained herein are ten raging tracks of brutal hardcore with influences that range from 80's American hardcore, Scandinavian d-beat thrash, and modern crustcore, including their own unique take on classics from POISON IDEA and STATE OF FEAR. Four of these tracks were previously released in 2007 as the limited edition Prey for Salvation EP that sold out in a matter of days, the others are totally brand new but in the same style and production. As with all WARTORN releases to date, the cover is beautifully illustrated by Marald, who raises the bar on quality work once again. Comes in a gatefold jacket (whose inside is adorned with an amazing illustration by Eric from Man the Conveyors) plus a 22" x 22" poster with artwork from Marald. (2008/PROFANE EXISTENCE)

-----------------------------------------------------------
ZOZOBRA - Bird of prey CD 12.90 EUR

NOISE-CORE. Fast on the seismic heels of last year's "Harmonic Tremors," ZOZOBRA mastermind Caleb Scofield (CAVE IN/OLD MAN GLOOM) has set off another face-rupturing power-trembler in the North American underground. "Bird of prey" is Scofield's second full-length under the ZOZOBRA moniker, a white-hot exploder shot through with snaking melody lines and implacable riffs. From front to back, Scofield's signature roar is tempered by his own gleaming backup chants; meanwhile, an arsenal of guitars alternately churns and shimmers in the flames of ZOZOBRA's effigal namesake.
