A DAY TO REMEMBER - Homesick LPcol 11.50 EUR

HARDCORE. Two short years since their debut release, A DAY TO REMEMBER have exploded from a small band with a dedicated fan base in Florida into a worldwide phenomenon thanks to the insane live shows and poppy Hardcore they have lovingly made their own. Having landed slots on NEW FOUND GLORY and SILVERSTEIN tours, they now are set to push the boundaries of their sound that can best be compared to bands like SET YOUR GOALS and FOUR YEAR STRONG. (2009/VICTORY)

-----------------------------------------------------------
AGAINST ME! - The original cowboy MLP/MCD 10.90/8.90 EUR

FOLK-PUNK. The record, made predominantly of never-before-heard demos, was recorded at Goldentone Studio in Gainesville, FL with Rob McGregor on July 15th, 2003. The session was scheduled prior to Against Me!’s trip to Memphis’ Ardent Studios where "As the eternal cowboy" was recorded. Eight songs in different versions! (2009/FAT WRECK)

-----------------------------------------------------------
ARCHITECTS - The hard way CD 15.90 EUR

INDIEROCK. On their fourth album, "The Hard Way," The Architects have hammered out another batch of songs steeped in bitter Kansas City tap water and fortified with stone cold badass. The lyrical core of "The Hard Way" is drawn from the deep pools of songsmiths like Johnny Cash, Waylon Jennings and Tom Petty, while the roaring, crashing sonic inspiration comes from the likes of The Clash, AC/DC, The Replacements and The Who. The Architects' fresh approach to "The Hard Way" has yielded anthemic songs like "Hell Came To Breakfast," an up-tempo epic which is due in no small part to the craftsman-like approach and to the return of platinum certified producer Aaron Conner (Bone Thugs N Harmony). (2009/SKELETON CREW)

-----------------------------------------------------------
BARRAKUDA MCMURDER - Slow Crawl 7'' 4.90 EUR

PUNKROCK. Grath Madden of the late STEINWAYS and hotshot up-and-comers HOUSE BOAT lays down 4 tracks of absolute smashing Pop-Punk gold on this amazing 7inch record, the first of 3 upcoming split releases with our main homies. (2009/HOUSE PARTY)

-----------------------------------------------------------
BATTLE RIFLE - Guaranteed To Rattle Dat Trunk 7'' 3.70 EUR

POWERVIOLENCE. Brutal Powerviolence from Houston,TX with ex-members of 50/50. Reminds of west coast Powerviolence ca 1993, mixing early Napalm Death,Lack of Interest,Despise You,and Crossed Out makes this 17 song EP seem like the days of Fiesta Grande for sure. Also, making one wonder why this generation of HC ever went away in the first place. If you ever followed this style in the '90s,this record was made for you. For fans of Insect Warfare, PLF, and Knuckle Scraper. Gulf coast Grindcore... Essential! (2009/SICK THOUGHT)

-----------------------------------------------------------
BEN WEASEL - The brain that wouldn't die LP/CD 10.90/9.90 EUR

POP-PUNK. "The brain that wouldn't die" brings Ben Weasel and Danny Vapid back together for this live performance of Screeching Weasel tunes from the classic album "My brain hurts" as well as two additional songs. Recorded live at Reggie's Rock Club in Chicago, IL August 22nd and 23rd 2008.

(2009/ASIAN MAN)

-----------------------------------------------------------
BETWEEN THE BURIED AND ME - Alaska DoLPcol 18.90 EUR

METALCORE. With lyrics that peer deep into the mind of visionary guitarist Paul Waggoner and front man Tommy Rogers, "Alaska" takes listeners on a journey that is beautiful while being disastrous and poignant while remaining punishing.BETWEEN THE BURIED AND ME created a new sound and refreshingly unique vision in the subgenre that is metalcore. No one is safe from the joyful chaos of BETWEEN THE BURIED AND ME. (2009/VICTORY)

-----------------------------------------------------------
BORN OF OSIRIS - A higher place CD 11.90 EUR

METALCORE. BORN OF OSIRIS burst on the Metalcore scene with their debut "The new reign," which captured the band's technical, yet grooving, metal and pound the pavement relentlessly touring with bands like KILLSWITCH ENGAGE, ALL THAT REMAINS, UNEARTH, DARKEST HOUR, The BLACK DAHLIA MURDER and many more. (2009/SUMERIAN)

-----------------------------------------------------------
BOUNCING SOULS - 20th anniversary series: Volume 1 7''col 4.90 EUR

PUNKROCK. It was almost 16 years ago that the BOUNCING SOULS put out their first album on their very own Chunksaah Records, and in a true return to the DIY spirit in which they began, the BOUNCING SOULS are self-releasing a new 7" every third month of 2009 on Chunksaah. Produced by Ted Hutt (Gaslight Anthem, Flogging Molly, Street Dogs). Cover artwork collaboration between Bouncing Souls bassist, Bryan Kienlen, and Arturo Vega, artistic director for The Ramones. (2008/CHUNKSAAH)

-----------------------------------------------------------
BOUNCING SOULS - 20th anniversary series: Volume 2 7''col 4.90 EUR

PUNKROCK. This second in the series of the BOUNCING SOULS 20th Anniversary 7"s is yet another "thank you" to the fans who have stuck with the band for two decades, bringing their now-signature style of fun Punkrock from the streets of New Jersey to kids all over the world. (2009/CHUNKSAAH)

-----------------------------------------------------------
CREEPS, THE - These walls 7'' 4.90 EUR

POP-PUNK. THE CREEPS are back. Another amazing band around the VISITORS / SEDATIVES / WHITE WIRES family! Typically waiting several years between releases, Ottawa power Pop-Punkers “THE CREEPS” are set to release a 5-song EP entitled These Walls via Black Pint Records. A follow up to 2008’s well-received Lakeside Cabin, the new EP finds the band taking a new approach to recording a record: instead of the year-long process that resulted in Lakeside, they recorded the songs in two nights and mixed them in one. The results are raw but refined, urgent but not rushed. Written during the Lakeside sessions, the EP’s 5 songs differ lyrically from the Creeps’ most recent efforts. Instead of grisly tales of murder, sociopaths and espionage, the songs on These Walls explore a dystopian near-future and offer a bleak conclusion: “These walls are way too high to climb.” The 7” blue and white marbled vinyl is limited to 400 copies! Amazing!! Killer record from beginning to end! (2009/BLACK PINT)

-----------------------------------------------------------
DEAR LANDLORD - Dream homes LPcol/CD 9.90/10.50 EUR

PUNK. Bordering on super-group status with members of Illinois Power-Pop masterminds The COPYRIGHTS and Minneapolis Weasel-worshippers Rivethead, they carry the torch high, burning brightest when they step to the mic together for anthemic choruses cut by snotty leads and broken wrists flying at breakneck speeds. Sign up and cast off, because if you’re holding this in your hands you’re probably as fucked as them. You just don’t know it yet. (2009/NO IDEA)

-----------------------------------------------------------
DIGITAL LEATHER - Power surge 7'' 4.90 EUR

PUNKROCK. Two new songs by DIGITAL LEATHER. Power Surge is a brand new unreleased track. The B-side is a older tune "Shattered Reflections". This song has never had a proper DL release. There was a coverversion of this track released on the TERROR VISIONS full-length. (2009/FDH)

-----------------------------------------------------------
DISAPPEARER - The clearing DoLP/DigiCD 16.90/10.90 EUR

POST-HARDCORE/DOOM. In the three years since the release of their previous effort, DISAPPEARER have been refining a sound that harnesses the power of NEUROSIS, the ire and angst of ENGINE KIDS, the precise musicality and movement of QUICKSAND and the bleak thematic temperament of JOY DIVISON, all while one member was cavorting around the country as a member of DOOMRIDERS. (2009/MAGIC BULLET)

-----------------------------------------------------------
DOCTOR SCIENTIST / OCTAGON CONTROL - Split 7'' 4.90 EUR

PUNKROCK. FDH Records has another winner on its hands. The independent Philadelphia-based label has released a solid roster of scintillating synthesizer-laden garage punk in the last few years, including Jay Reatard’s TERROR VISIONS, DIGITAL LEATHER’s amazing “Blow Machine” LP and the stellar DESTRUCTION UNIT/ BLACK SUNDAY split LP. The latest release is a limited edition split 7'' featuring Bellingham’s OCTAGON CONTROL and Philadelphia’s DOCTOR SCIENTIST. These bands are just about as underground as it gets: raw, raspy and overlain with a sheen of automated gloom and despair that is the mark of the best electronic music. DOCTOR SCIENTIST claims the A-side with four screaming synth-punk numbers that feature a melting of shredded vocals and chirpy – almost poppy – keyboards. They’re like the SCREAMERS recast for a more melodic, multi-tasking era. The OCTAGON CONTROL side features 2 equally impressive songs. Slithering and ominous, a little more free form than DOCTOR SCIENTIST, this band hooked me immediately with “Davey Crotchhitch,” which is slow and dirge-like, with vocals that echo like cries from a gas chamber. The band’s second cut, “Hedz R Guna Roll” takes off at a breakneck pace, sounding like a desperate tumble down a spiral staircase. Rising to a feverish keyboard-induced finale, the song ends with a lurch, leaving you wanting more. (2009/FDH)

-----------------------------------------------------------
DOOMRIDERS - Black thunder LP 11.90 EUR

DOOM-CORE. Boston's DOOMRIDERS are sonically antisocial and undeniably unforgettable as they come. DOOMRIDERS are comprised of a stellar lineup featuring Nate Newton (Converge, Old Man Gloom), along with longtime friends Jebb Riley (There Were Wires, Disappearer), Chris Pupecki (Cast Iron Hike), and Chris Bevalaqua (Hallraker). Their soulful no frills approach conjures the spirits of Thin Lizzy, Entombed, and damn near every evil in between. (2006/MAGIC BULLET)

-----------------------------------------------------------
EMPTY GRAVE - Abandoned LP 11.50 EUR

HARDCORE. Tighter, faster and harder, EMPTY GRAVE returns with 13 blistering tracks of Hardcore-Punk. Crank it up and feel each stand alone song echo through your head, mix Christ On Parade, The Germs, and other early HC bands, then you can get an idea of how this hits your ears. Filled with unique hooks and cynical lyrics, this album captures the darker side of existance in an uncommon way. (2009/ABSENT)

-----------------------------------------------------------
HEXTALLS - Call it a comeback LP 12.50 EUR

PUNKROCK. 18 love songs, 3 chords, a million swear words? Pretty much. This soon to be Pop-Punk classic will be proudly serving as the first record released on House Party Records. The HEXTALLS were around in the late '90s / early '00s and one of Canada's more popular Pop-Punk bands. After a five year absence the band is back and sounding exactly like they did back in their prime. This is '90s Pop-Punk through and through, three chords and a fun sound, cheesy lyrics scattered throughout. Think CHIXDIGGIT, NERF HERDER & The VANDALS as a basic reference point, pretty much like slipping into a time machine however the sound stands the test of time and will probably appeal to many in this current little Pop-Punk revival slowly building. Well worth checking out, there are plenty of highlights, "Can't Talk, Gotta Work", "Jeff Siemans Vs The Toothbrush", "Martin Lawrence" & "Ramones T-Shirt" are all decent. If you don't mind a bit of lowbrow humor, occasionally recycled riffs and generally upbeat fun music, then you are gonna dig this. It took me back in time that's for sure, it was annoying when a million bands were doing it, but since everyone's too cool for Pop-Punk now, it seems kinda fresh. I LOVE it!!! This record fucking rules!!! For fans of our old bravers: SCREECHING WEASEL, CHIXDIGGIT, GREEN DAY, RAMONES & newer heros: STATUES, MANIKINS, TEENAGE BOTTLROCKET. (2009/HOUSE PARTY)

-----------------------------------------------------------
JACUZZI BOYS / WOVEN BONES - Split 7'' 5.50 EUR

PUNK/INDIE. JACUZZI BOYS are back with their characteristic mellow, almost quiet delivery...with an acoustic foundation this time. It's almost surprising to hear all the space here in the recording and instrumentation. They leave a lot of space to breath. The more I hear this, the more I'm getting like a Velvet Underground feeling...that far away echo vocals that are barely keeping up with the slide guitar. Maybe it's the tom based low tempo rhythm, or they just really have really nailed this slightly 60's drug pop with a dash of pysch sound.
WOVEN BONES on the flip are a heavier version of this time warp...the guitar is harder, a real high screechy clipped distortion, almost Ty SEGALL sounding. There's a lot more effects on the vocals, almost shoegaze in the chorus reverb that has a really sloping decay. Great use of a wah-wah solo...haven't heard that sound used in a while. The bass is somewhere inside all this harsh overdriven treble sound and kind of works complimenting the guitar with this warm rumbly distortion underneath. (2009/NEEDLESS)

-----------------------------------------------------------
JASON FALKNER - Can you still feel? LP 10.50 EUR

INDIE. Jason Falkner returns with his long awaited second full-length album, "Can You Still Feel?" Playing all the instruments himself, Jason displays masterful musicianship and diversity while paying attention to every minute detail from the vocal harmonies to the lush guitar lines. "Can You Still Feel?" showcases more diverse songwriting than his previous efforts, exploring the darker side of things as well as delivering his trademarked pop anthems. Now available again on vinyl. (2009/LOVITT)

-----------------------------------------------------------
JOB FOR A COWBOY - Ruination CD 12.90 EUR

DEATH METAL. JFAC's highly anticipated sophomore album, "Ruination," was recorded at Audio Hammer Productions in Sanford, FL with producer Jason Suecof. "Ruination" sees Job For A Cowboy advance by leaps and bounds; the record is a concentrated hotbed of astounding dexterity, scorching attack, sleek arrangement and thundering musical muscle. Infectious riffs, keen dynamics and the assertive vocals of rising star front man Jonny Davy combine to produce an album that is at once powerful, expressive, confident and commanding. New from Metal Blade Records. (2009/)

-----------------------------------------------------------
KILLSWITCH ENGAGE - Same (2009) CD 15.90 EUR

METALCORE. Claiming the throne as the most punishing American Metal act, Killswitch Engage return with a self-titled effort packed with tight riffs, big melodies and thunderous breakdowns that have helped make them one of the most beloved metal bands on the planet. (2009/ROADRUNNER)

-----------------------------------------------------------
LOSER LIFE - Friends with a demon LP 9.90 EUR

HARDCORE-PUNK. After two 12" releases, a slew of EPs and plenty of touring, Bakersfield, CA's LOSER LIFE return with twelve more tracks on "Friends with a demon" and keep their ARTICLES OF FAITH/HÜSKER DÜ/LEATHERFACE style of melodic Hardcore-Punk, adding some slightly darker songwriting and a significantly better recording. (2009/TAKEN BY SURPRISE)

-----------------------------------------------------------
MANIKINS, THE - I want my baby dead 7'' 4.90 EUR

PUNKROCK. In support of the bands upcoming US tour FDH are releasing a single of ''I want my baby dead''. This track is taken from the "Crocodiles" full-length. The B-side is "Dont Look Back at Me". A unreleased track from the Crocodiles session! (2009/FDH)

-----------------------------------------------------------
MESRINE - Unidentified LP 13.50 EUR

GINDCORE. 2007 full-lenght album from these Quebec-city Grind maniacs.. First time on vinyl and it sounds incredible. Best recording yet with great lyrics about serial killers. Features the guitar player from Dahmer and drummer of notorious Deche-Charge. 16 new audio attacks from these Canadian massmurderer outfit number one! Full-colored cover and insert. 500 made. (2009/RESCUED FROM LIFE)

-----------------------------------------------------------
NO COMPLY - It's getting hot 7'' 5.50 EUR

HARDCORE. "It's getting hot" from Memphis's NOI COMPLY is a ferocious debut based in brutal '80s / '90s hardcore like COPOUT and BORN AGAINST. These recordings feature Angry Bob, ex-DEATHREAT, on bass, a spot currently occupied by Joe T, ex-RAT TRAPS. Drummer Tony was in LEFT FOR DEAD and BLANK IS BORN. South by Southwest appearances and regional shows have built an underground buzz in Hardcore circles. Frontman Matt "Pappy" Johnson revists a vocal attack worthy of John Brannon (Negative Approach, Laughing Hyenas, Easy Action), guaranteed to run off cute-punks and their mall-clothed friends at every show. For those who can't keep their fingers away from the sockets. (2009/GONER)

-----------------------------------------------------------
REIGN SUPREME - Testing the limits of infinite CD 10.90 EUR

HARDCORE. Releasedate 07.07.2009. REIGN SUPREME are one of the heaviest/hardest metallic hardcore bands to surface from Philadelphia. Led by former BLACKLISTED member Jay Pepito on vocals, they wield the same devastating musical hammer as bands like CROWBAR, TERROR, and INTEGRITY. Yet come out swinging with a conviction and rage unlike anyone before them. "Testing the limits of infinite" is REIGN SUPREME's highly anticipated debut full length album. Produced by Will Putney at The Machine Shop (Lamb Of God, VOD, Every Time I Die), "Testing the limits..." takes the accessible metallic hardcore foundation popularized by many, and injects a fresh warm blood deep within it. The result is a new breed of anthemic metallic hardcore; immaculately executed, intensely heavy, and refreshingly unpredictable. (2009/DEATHWISH)

-----------------------------------------------------------
RETALIATION - The cost of redemption LP 13.50 EUR

GRINDCORE. 28 new songs from the Swedish Grind veterans. With the best production and fastest material they ever recorded this album has been a constant player in the RFL HQ ever since it was released on CD on the almighty No Tolerance Records out of Sweden last year. some of the other members play in Regurgitate, Sayyadina, Victims. Also features ex. DAWN vocalist. (2009/RESCUED FROM LIFE)

-----------------------------------------------------------
RIOT BEFORE, THE - Fists buried in pockets CD 9.50 EUR

POP-PUNK. Richmond, VA's The RIOT BEFORE have been a band for barely two years, most of which were spent barreling down the interstates of America as they bounced from basement to basement and all manner of seedy dive bars. Despite the constant touring, they also managed to do something that very few bands can do in a decade: write a cohesive, well-crafted album, where songs work together and flow in a cleverly concocted manner that eventually amounts to a complete piece of art. Thematic elements weave in and out between songs, both musically and lyrically, to create a deceptively complex record that will continue to disclose new secrets with every listen. While each song is fully capable of standing on its own, the true beauty of the album shines through when you actually sit down and read along with the lyrics and appreciate the thought and care that went into crafting the album. The RIOT BEFORE’s sound, they might say something along the lines of MIKE NESS singing for AGAINST ME!, with a healthy dash of the GASLIGHT ANTHEM’s Americana Rock n’ Roll thrown into the mix to keep the hips swaying. (2009/SAY-10)

-----------------------------------------------------------
ROTTING OUT - Vandalized 7'' 4.50 EUR

HAR DCORE. When you first see ROTTING OUT, you might see a group of collected, mild mannered individuals. This assumption may hold true until the second this reckless five piece hits the stage, at which point all hell breaks loose. Feeding off each other, the crowd and band form an unfuckwithable union that has been known to break down all walls, both figurative and literal. Along with their intense touring and debut EP, "Vandalized", ROTTING OUT is set to take over the Punk AND Hardcore scenes. ROTTING OUT is proud to wave the flag of Southern California and soon the world will know what the west coast has to offer. (2009/6131)

-----------------------------------------------------------
SAVAGE LAND - Honor among thieves 7'' 3.90 EUR

HARDCORE. Virginia Hardcore with ripping metallic solos, walls of distorted feedback, and lyrics focusing on a sense of overpowering isolation in a wicked world. The debut EP, courtesy of Tension Head Records, is 4 tracks of aggression that explore the dark side of humanity and the very nature of what separates man from beast. (2009/TENSION HEAD)

-----------------------------------------------------------
SNEAKY PINKS - Same 7'' 4.50 EUR

PUNK. The single that brought cretin Punk to new lows and birthed the atrocity known as NOBUNNY! Four songs of intensely infectious lo-fi Punk. Simultaneously frightened and thrilled Rev. Norb and countless others. (2009/1-2-3-4 GO!)

-----------------------------------------------------------
SOMETHING FIERCE - There are no answers LP 11.50 EUR

POP-PUNK. Young kids from Houston with a rock-solid work ethic who like to tour. This band fits in perfectly on Dirtnap: it's catchy, poppy Punk that's not really Pop-Punk, and rocks a little too hard to fit in with the Power-Pop crowd. Unbelievably catchy, well written, well played poppy punk with heart, brains, and hooks. Lots of hooks. This is a gem of a record from start to finish - an adrenaline rush of hooks, choruses, and some of the cleverest pop writing since those BUZZCOCKS fellas picked up their guitars. Dirtnap quickly came to an agreement with these guys to do a new LP in early 2010. Upon reflection, though, Dirtnap realized that they just couldn’t wait that long to wrap her slimy tentacles around this young band, and have decided to rush re-release their recent, self-released CD on vinyl. LP includes a download code! (2009/DIRTNAP)

-----------------------------------------------------------
SUPPOSITORIES - Moments of square violence LP 13.90 EUR

PUNKROCK. This KBD throwback hits all the right notes in the 2 chord punk rock attack. Get bashed from side to side by the dangerous beat. The violence in the voice will make you hate your friends. Think BRAINBOMBS, WIRE, FLIPPER... plus a dark WIPERS guitar! Amazing!! Killer record from beginning to end!!! limited to 300 copies (2009/GOING GAGA)

-----------------------------------------------------------
TEENAGE BOTTLEROCKET - Total LP 11.50 EUR

PUNK. The first proper full-length album from Wyoming's favorite sons! In light of the dismal musical climate it would seem that isolation has only strengthened this band's songwriting. Rather than waste their time with low-cut jeans, these young upstarts spend their efforts writing infectious Punk songs, and they delivered the best Ramones-core record of the new millennium. Shortly after TEENAGE BOTTLEROCKET agreed to work with Red Scare, they added a second guitarist. Oh, not just ANY guitarist, it was Kody from Lookout's legendary Pop-Punk trio The LILLINGTONS. Better yet, Kody went on to write and sing half the songs on "Total". (2009/RED SCARE)

-----------------------------------------------------------
TEENAGE COOL KIDS - Foreign lands LP 11.50 EUR

INDIEROCK. TEENAGE COOL KIDS release their new LP entitled "Foreign Lands" on Narshardaa Rec.. On the second full-length LP they come forward to give you 12 songs. A must for fans of MENEGUAR, DINOSAUR JR, early BUILT TO SPILL, and JAWBREAKER. Limd. with digital download coupon for this record, Look for them on tour in Europe in Fall 2009. Comes with a free digital download. (2009/NARSHARDAA)

-----------------------------------------------------------
TRUE COLORS - Rush of hope LP/CD 11.50/10.90 EUR

SXE-HARDCORE. Their second full-length already, they stuck to their formula so this is gonna be a straight up authentic straight edge Hardcore record, plain and simple. But not a record that will dissapear in the masses but one that will be noticed, talked about and loved. The record counts 12 songs, the CD version of "Rush of hope" also has the "Perspective" EP as a bonus so that’s 16 songs. (2009/POWERED)

-----------------------------------------------------------
V/A CARRY THE TORCH - A tribute to Kid Dynamite DoLP/CD 19.90/12.50 EUR

HARDCORE/PUNK. KID DYNAMITE has become a staple band in our contemporary punk scene. Though breaking up almost a decade ago, the band continues to press their influence within the music scene. This tribute includes every recorded KID DYNAMITE song by some of the biggest and up and coming names in the Punk and Hardcore scene. -----------------------------------------------------------
VISITORS, THE - Tropic of cancer 7'' 4.90 EUR

Anyone who got their "Lost On The Globe" full-length last years knows that the VISITORS bring the poppy punk goodness on a grand scale. Those who don't, stop sleeping. The Visitors are world class!
