Beitrag von No Decline Booking »

Bild

Its almost the end of the Winter and we going ahead with something that actually already rumors without any official statement. We are more than pleased to announce that No Decline will book an awesome band package including any kind of good Pop Punk modern times has brought us yet.
Up on this are the Label brothers TRANSIT & MAN OVERBOARD & UK‚s best from ALL OR NOTHING.
MAN OVERBOARD & TRANSIT already absolved a few US tours together, released a split and things going more than well for both of them.MAN OVERBOARD released their current 7 “ inch „ Dalia „ on Cobra Records and a full lengh will follow soon on Run For Cover (USA) / Cobra Records (Ger). They sound is adding Pop Punk classics and modern influences and should interest any one that likes Bands as Blink 183 Weezer, Taking Back Sunday. While TRANSIT is also into this veins they combine their sounds with somehow harder breaks and catchy Guitar riffs almost known frpm bands like Crime in Stereo.TRANSIT most recently released their „Stay Home“ EP on Run For Cover (USA).
Stay Home vinyl will be out soon on Barrett (USA). TRANSIT will release a new full-length on Run For Cover (USA) in September.

ALL OR NOTHING is more than perfect to be the european part of this package. They have played tons of UK tours and did a couple of good releases like the current split with Chaos Days (All Aboard Records) and they should ring a bell to each one that is into Pop Punk since a while.Their sound is straight and poppy same a bands like Set Your Goals, so the perfect sound to sing a long on a late summer night!

BIO:

Man Overboard is a movement that a lot of us have been waiting for. We are tired of the lip-synching, Justin Timberlake-wannabe, neon wearing, cheesy hair metal crap that passes itself off as pop-punk in 2010. Man Overboard is defending the honesty, integrity, DIY spirit that pop punk was built on and restore it’s good name. They have inspired countless kids to join this movement. Whether it is the kids across the country who are tattooing their logo and lyrics on them or just the turn out at their shows, the band is inspiring a passionate movement.
Their sound brings back the feeling you got listening to bands like Brand New, Lifetime, Taking Back Sunday, The Early November, and The Get Up Kids. Writing songs and hooks that get kids excited today while still maintaining an influence from yesterday Man Overboard are writing songs that matter in kids lives. The bands debut LP will be out this summer on Run For Cover Records.

PRESS:

„We reckon these young upstarts could go far, head over to their myspace page and check them out on tour before it goes global.“ (Exposure, Best New Music Feature)
- Rock Sound magazine

“All Or Nothing’s fast, spirited pop-punk, preoccupied with long hot summers, makes them the obvious choice to open a night of shiny punk like this.“ (5 K Live Kerrang Review, Broadway Calls show)
- Kerrang! magazine

“Birmingham’s All Or Nothing team up with Brighton boys Chaos Days for this offering and the result is one of pleasingly consistent quality. The former’s melodic yet gritty output will surely appeal to fans of Alkaline Trio and suchlike; All Or Nothing just about have the edge, their deceptively weighty riffs served up alongside saccharine sweet vocal harmonies you can hum along to.“ (8/10 split EP Review)
- Rock Sound magazine

“On the strength of songs like ‚This Is Very Impossible’ – which is sadly only available digitally – All Or Nothing won’t need much help for long. Their reluctance to go double bass-crazy is respectable, while a high-flying guitar solo takes the song from punk-and-done to repeat-button-rocker.“
- absolutepunk.net

“There’s no doubt All Or Nothing are one of the most improved bands of 2008, they are progressing as a band all the time. The tracks on this split ‚Distances’ are as good as any they’ve done and they are getting better and better.“
- Punktastic.com

BIO:

Like many young punk bands, All Or Nothing have had their fair share of line-up changes, since their inception in 2004, having come together through a mutual love for all things punk-rock and a passionate interest in local shows in and around their native Birmingham.

All Or Nothing pride themselves on having always played their own blend of fast-paced punk-rock, without overlooking killer hooks and a well placed melody. It’s this formula that has seen the band knock up shows alongside the likes of heavyweights such as Funeral For A Friend, Kids In Glass Houses, Cancer Bats, Gallows, Frank Turner, Set Your Goals and You Me At Six.

In keeping with their fierce D.I.Y ethos, the band released their debut E.P ‘Is Pretty Hot Right Now’ in November of 2007, through Zone 6 Records (Living With Lions, Fireworks). The effort was produced by John Mitchell (Enter Shikari, You Me At Six, Funeral For A Friend) and even got a release in Japan via the Inya Face label.

The international toe-dipping doesn’t stop there either, the band became the first of their kind (unsigned UK pop-punk band) to tour Russia. Their six-date tour saw them drawing 300-400 people a night and concluded with a support slot with fellow brits Bring Me The Horizon in Moscow to just under 4,000 people.

With half a dozen full UK tours now under their belts, the band marked their July tour with stateside pop-punkers The Wonder Years with their first vinyl release, on US label No Sleep Records. The 7” was practically sold out before its official release date, with pre-orders surpassing everybody involved’s expectations.

The Midlands based quartet are now set to release a split E.P with Brighton based pop-punks, Chaos Days, through All Aboard Records. The release features two eagerly awaited brand new tracks, that have already been met with positive reaction in live settings and weekly airplay on Kerrang! radios unsigned show. The CD is due for release on Monday 7th Dec ‚09.

The winter period will then be spent writing their long awaited debut full-length, with a view to using a big name producer in America in the spring. With their flawless work ethic, and a full-length very much in the works, there’ll be no avoiding All Or Nothing in 2010.

Label: Run For Cover Records
Current Release: Stay Home EP + Upcoming LP (due out in summer)
For fans of: Polar Bear Club, Grade and Crime In Stereo

PRESS:

“Transit has been getting better and better ever since the release of their first EP, 2007’s Let It Out. But no one could ever predict that their development would reach such a devastating pinnacle on Stay Home. The band’s newest release, a six-song collection again recorded with New England hardcore super producer Jay Maas (Verse, Shipwreck), Stay Home is made up an absolutely mind-blowing first half and a second half that, while not quite as good, is still wholehearted, well-rounded and stupidly solid itself. “ -Punknews.org
“Sometimes you can almost immediately tell where a band comes from after hearing just a few songs. Such is the case with Boston quintet Transit: The band’s brand of melodic post-hardcore could only come from the upper East Coast, and on This Will Not Define Us, they shred through the speakers with a sound that’s straight out of 2002. Thankfully though, it’s not too derivative; apparent influences aside, this is really damn good. Transit’s tunes pack a satisfying mix of catchy hooks and raw emotional grit not far removed from the likes of Crime In Stereo, or a far ballsier Taking Back Sunday circa Tell All Your Friends.” -Mammoth Press

BIO:

TRANSIT is a melodic punk band from Boston, Massachusetts made up of young members (ages ranging from 17-22), drawing comparisons to such bands as CRIME IN STEREO and POLAR BEAR CLUB. Despite their young age, Stay Home is their third release in the last two years, showing just how far this band has already come in such short time. Stay Home is six bursts of youthful energy, channeling influences such as BRAID, THE GET UP KIDS, and HOT WATER MUSIC, more so than the faceless pop bands flooding today’s scene. Summer 2010 will bring the release of their brand new full length record that is being recorded with Jesse Cannon (Saves The Day, Lifetime) and released on Run For Cover Records.
