Here are the details:
ASR-029: JUST WENT BLACK - Dead Ends 12"
Six new tracks of heartfelt and passionate hardcore from jaded old men. Following the trail of dead bands, these guys still got what it takes to write intense songs laced with their signature melodies. Eventhough this is their fifth record, their songs are as passionate as ever, maybe even more so. These new tracks serve as a remainder of just what makes Just Went Black so special. It's the ability to express feelings of angst and despair in beautiful and emotional songs that pull the listener into their world. You're invited to be a part of this, so journey with them down into these "Dead Ends".
To make this extra special, all records come housed in a custom-made covers and with a silkscreened B-side, making this a pleasure for ears and eyes alike.
Preorder copies are on clear vinyl with a red screenprint (color 1), while regular copies (color 2) will have a black screenprint.

ASR-027: PUNCH - Push Pull LP
The Bay Area mosh-bringer unit known as PUNCH delivers their second LP - chock full of 1000mph pissedness with hammers-of-justice mosh-trocious breakdowns that can get even the the longest of the long-hairs starting the mower. A great combination of good people, intelligent and insightful lyrics, and fucking full-on pissed and fast hardcore. One of the best around. Gatefold cover and colored vinyl.
The most limited color is black, followed by white/black swirl and clear black.

ASR-025: PUNCH - s/t LP
Busting out an LP's worth of thrashcore, San Francisco, CA's Punch rip through a high-speed attack with female vocals that varies in speed from blast beats to mosh parts with some youth crew influences thrown in, all with social and political lyrics. Every song is carried out with an intensity that is lacking in a lot of modern hardcore. The vocals are screamed with total rage, to the backing of a band that sound like they're playing their instruments as hard and fast as they possible can. If you like your hardcore really fast and hard, make sure to pick this up.
This is the first "real" Assault pressing and again, the most limited color is black, followed, by red and red/white vinyl.

Also available for preorder is something we at Assault Records only rarely try our hands on, a PUNCH shirt. It's a rip of the "DC Cross" design, only now it reads "Punch Crew", which is awesome of course. To make this extra special, there'll be a small back print and even a sleeve print too.
These'll be made to order, and won't be available again at a later time. If you want one, better head right to the shop and place your order.

There's still limited vinyl left of our two previous releases and I can't recommend them highly enough:
ASR-028: MAN THE CHANGE - Forgiver LP
"Forgiver", the debut album from MAN THE CHANCE is finally here and it's definitely worth the wait. 9 tracks of rocking mid-90s style hardcore that brings to mind bands like Abhinanda, Threadbare or Hope Conspiracy (with a nod to LOXIRAN). These guys have poured their hearts into these songs and it shows. Honest and passionate, filled with rage an emotion, "Forgiver" puts MAN THE CHANGE squarely on the map and leaves you wanting more. Gang vocals, screamed lyrics, passionate delivery... and a keen sense for melodies- put them together and you have "Forgiver". Prepare to be impressed. Thick cardboard covers (artwork by Juan Comadre) and colored vinyl was the only way we could do these songs justice. Split release with our austrian friends from DeafCult Records (deafcult.org).
Two colors of vinyl, blue splatter being the limited color.

ASR-026: REMISSION - Accept LP
With these 9 songs, REMISSION delivers us a sound reminiscent of late 80's and early 90's bands such as Verbal Assault, One Step Ahead and Uniform Choice, but with a unique touch that makes this record a very progressive piece, with both awesome vocal and guitar works. Lyrically this album is absolutely powerful and insightful, but direct at the same time. It goes from personal topics like true love and self-criticism, to social stuff like brutal consequences of Pinochet's dictatorship in Chile, the illusion of patriotism, social discrimination and imposition to believe in a dude with long hair, by our parents and society. These lyrics encourage you in a positive way to think for yourself and to struggle for what you think is fair in this sick world. remission live shows could give you an idea that hardcore is more than music. This record is so amazing that I had to repress it on Assault. To celebrate this, the guys came up with a new cover and we had it pressed on dark purple vinyl to match it. Split release with Amendment Records.
Two vinyl colors for this one, clear is the limited, purple the regular (and exclusive to Assault) color.
