After the huge success of our first edition of the Anchor Fest we are fully motivated to bring you more special events again in the future. As most of you know, Hope Conspiracy, Undying, Walls of Jericho, A18, Nine, Paint the Town Red and some more completely rocked the U-Club in Wuppertal / Germany with furious shows in front of a motivated, positive crowd. We were overwhelmed by the people showing up, the spirit at the club and the good feedback we received -
letting us no other chance than to schedule the next Anchor event a little bit earlier than usually planned.
The first show in this new series will be the Anchor Fest 1.2, taking place on the 17th of January 2004 again at the U-Club in Wuppertal / Germany.
We'll call this one 1.2 and not 2.0 as we plan bigger things in the future. Take this as a teaser.
We already have a tremendous lineup together, which we want to present you right now:

(1 of 4 German shows - no explanation necessary - the kings of chaos, the masters of metallic hardcore confusion)
RISE AND FALL
(Clevo/NY inspired hardcore with members of the Deal, Congress, Spirit of Youth)
HEAVEN SHALL BURN
(Europes hugest metal ecowarmachine finally back in our region)
FEAR MY THOUGHTS
(one of the most promising newer German metalcore acts finally available in our area)
ZERO MENTALITY
(believe the hype this band is creating, as you can not escape it anyway)
BLEED INTO ONE
(modern, but still back to the roots hardcore as it was meant to be)
MASAKTSU
(local heroes with a sound not that different to the headliner)

Again, we will try to keep this event as cheap as possible. Furthermore, we will take care for all the things you learned to like about the first Anchor Fest, such as enough distros to keep you on the run, delicious vegan food and more.
