we will be in germany from 2-8 july. after that we will hit poland. before
germany we will come from denmark.
we will have full backline with us.
we will be 5 persons in the band + 2 persons that will come along with us.
we are all vegans.
we will need between 100 and 200 euros.

the bio stuff:
THROUGH THE MIST OF TEARS

Through the mist of tears saw the light of day in January 2005 in
Gothenburg, Sweden. Musically inspired by local death metal classics
but rooted deeply in the hardcore scene. Through the mist of tears
are driven by an undying will to tear down whatever oppressing
structures one may find. From day one the goal has been to, as
passionate as possible, shed the light on topics that needs to be
addressed and that should be taken notice of.


The five members, who all have been, or still are, active in Swedish
and Finnish hardcore and metal bands like: Endstand, xSet My Pathx,
Liquid Phase, Crang, The Kalashnikow Boys and Deathbed, came together
with one very distinct goal: To start a serious, hardworking band
that fuses high quality death metal / hardcore with lyrics that go
straight to the core with a clear animal rights and political message.
Seeing how the hardcore scene slowly had been transforming from being this
platform where different ideas of how the world could be a better place to
live in, was being exchanged and where the frustration and anger over
injustice and cruelty were put into songs, to be all about make up and
broken hearts. The time had come to turn it around and make an effort
to keep these values, which once enriched so many people, within the scene.
To reach beyond the trends that one by one are consumed.

Since Through the mist of tears started, a demo has been put out,
the band has been on a two week tour through Sweden and Norway
together with the Swedish metalcore act Path Of No Return and played
Scandinavia’s biggest hardcore festival “dead fest” where the stage
was shared with such great bands as Heaven Shall Burn, As I Lay Dying,
Maroon, Purified In Blood and more. In the beginning of January the band
hit the road again for a two week tour through the Czech Republic, Poland
and Germany. In July the next tour will start and will hit most parts of
europe and will go on for about a month.

Through the mist of tears are currently working on new material with
the intentions to record in the spring of 2006 and are now looking
for someone to release this, soon to be, masterpiece.

For being a band that started out a year ago, a lot has happened in a short
time,
as well as are about to happen, which shows that the band are hungry
and prepared to work hard to reach set up goals. To judge by the warm
welcome by hardcore kids all around, through the mist of tears has
what it takes to back up its fast progression and all plans for the
future both musically and lyrically as well as on the stage.
