Eine wirkliche coole Band aus Belgrad/Serbien geht Anfang März auf
Europa-Tour und braucht vorwiegend noch shows zwischen dem
08.03.-10.03.10

Sind sehr hilfsbereite und nette Jungs, musikalisch geht es in die Richtung
Bad Religion meets No Use for A Name.


"Hi there,

We are Blankfile, a punk rock band from Belgrade, Serbia. The band
was formed in 2002. We have one record titled "Under the influence"
[2006] and an EP called "Fast Foreword" [2008]. Our music is
influenced by band such as Strung Out, Pennywise, A Wilhelm Scream,
Propagandhi, etc. You can check us out on myspace.com/blankfileband.
The band had a dozens of concerts in all parts of Serbia among which
the most valuable was the one at the Exit festival 2009 where we
shared stage with Commback Kid, Walls Of Jericho etc. During the last
decade citizens of Serbia have been limited to travel in Europe,
because of the strict visa regime, so we had just few shows out there.


At the moment we have finished recording and we are at the final
stage of the mixing process of our new album titled "Turning the
Season". We have put a lot of effort and time into making this
record and have worked with some prominent people of the Serbian
underground scene. We can safely say it will be the best thing that
we have done so far and we are eagerly looking forward to promoting
it with some shows in Europe. You have one pre-mixed song attached,
so you could make the first impression about the new album.

We will be in Europe between 4th and 18th March. Do you think you
could help us in this period by booking a show in your city? We would
be very grateful and I'm sure that we could return the favor if any
of your bands ever need shows in Serbia. We have our own organization
- myspace.com/mtapromotion that has already organized more than 20
shows just this year. All we need is some money for gas (up to 150EUR,
if it's possible), food and warm place to sleep (we are bringing the
whole backline with us: amps, boxes, drums).
We know you receive many similar mails. We'd appreciate if you spare
a couple of minutes to write back. Even a few words on our band and
the music are valuable for us. Even forwarding this email to a friend
that might be able to help us would be useful."

Helft den Jungs bitte! Sie konnten jahrelang keine Tour spielen, da sie teilweise nicht aus Serbien ausreisen durften.
Sie hätten gern 150 Euro an Gage fest, sind da aber auch sehr flexibel und lassen sicherlich mit sich reden, wenn dass das große Problem sein sollte.
