... wollen bereits im Herbst mit einem neuen Album aufwarten. Berichten zur Folge soll es "I-Empire" heißen.
Tom DeLonge schreibt: "I have a lot of incredible things happening here and music is just one part of it. A couple of years ago I started talking about what I wanted to do with music and the things that I wanted [the band] to lead the charge on and it´s all happening. It´s taken a lot of money, effort and technology but it´s happening."
Nach dem Suasstieg von Ryan Sinn ist nun mit Matt Wachter (ex-30 Seconds to Mars) ein neuer Basser gefunden. Delonge: "He´s a really good fit for our band. Ryan had totally difference musical influences from the rest of us. Matt likes hardcore bands like Gorilla Biscuits and punk stuff like the Descendents. So it´s a really good fit."
