Die Niederländische Doom Death Metal Pioniere ASPHYX promoten kontinuierlich ihre neueste und wahrscheinlich meist gelobte Veröffentlichung "Deathhammer".
Das Ende Februar über ihren langjährigen Partner Century Media Records veröffentlichte Album "Deathhammer" ist in die offiziellen deutschen Albumcharts auf Platz # 67 eingestiegen und erreichte die dreifache Auszeichnung "Album des Monats" in den Magazinen Rock Hard, Heavy und Legacy.
ASPHYX werden im kommenden Jahr auf dem legendären Roadburn Festival spielen:
"We're extremely pleased to announce that Asphyx will be playing a special set of their slowest death/doom (only throwing in a couple buzzing, diabolical tracks for good measure) at the Roadburn Festival 2013 on Saturday, April 20th at Het Patronaat in Tilburg, Holland.
