Avail wollten eigentlich kürzlich mit den Aufnahmen zur neuen Platte beginnen, laut Sänger Tim gibt es aber derzeit einige Probleme:
"We simply pulled out of our sessions because we didn't feel ready. We somehow put a deadline on writing songs, which we never do. When it came down to the wire we thought it would be best to not record and take our time writing. Can't really force creativity, you know? We don't want to put out a record with a few good songs and a bunch of space filler. that's what all the mainstream bands do. And of course, we've never been mainstream."
