BOYSETSFIRE
Verkündet wurde es ja schon seit längerem, jetzt haben sich Burning Heart und Boysetsfire aber auch offiziell zu ihrem für Europa gültigen Deal für die kommende Platte geäussert. Das Statement der Band:
It's been a long time since the last BOYSETSFIRE album saw the light of day and a lot has happened since then. We had some changes coming our way. Some asked for, others unexpected. We are left with some scars to show after the last 2 years and yet, we were able to create a record, that means much, much more than just another release to all of us. A record that (while capturing the pure essence of the band) is different in a lot of ways...we felt there was no need to hide the scars. But like so often, these dark days brought out intensity in many ways. We overcame the negative aspects and focused on creating something to celebrate the new spirit. Change brought us closer together in the end. It allowed us to write this record.
On this note we proudly announce that we have teamed up with BURNING HEART RECORDS to release our upcoming album "THE MISERY INDEX: NOTES FROM THE PLAGUE YEARS"*
We felt like they will treat it, like we think it should be treated. Not playing along with the mind-numbing mantras of this day and age, where pretention and false ego destroy the very essence of art and emotion. We felt like this deserves to be presented as it is. Pure. Real. This is who we are in 2006 and we can't wait to share with you the many different layers of this band, that this record will hopefully bring forth.
So without going into cheesy marketing lingo or self applauding nonsense...this is it. The next chapter for 5 guys wanting change, wanting a difference.
