CAVALERA CONSPIRACY - Erstes Album nach 12 Jahren der Brüder
Die Brüder Max und Igor Cavalera sollten im Grunde ein Begriff sein, haben es doch beide Brüder mit SEPULTURA zu recht hohem Ansehen geschafft. Nach 12 Jahren gibt es jetzt mit CAVALERA CONSPIRACY ein neues gemeinsames Projekt, bei dem Max am Gesang und sein Bruder Igor an den Drums ist. SOULFLY Gitarrist Marc Rizzo und GOJIRA Bassist Joe Duplantier komplettieren das LineUp.
Das bisher unbetitelte Album soll im Februar 2008 erscheinen. Roadrunner Records Senior VP of A&R Monte Conner schreibt: "Having stopped by the studio, I can tell you the magic between Max and Igor is still there. When these brothers play together, it's like the planets align, ... Igor's playing is simply on fire, and as always, Max continues to have one of the most recognizable and powerful voices in all of metal. It was great to see both Max and Igor with such big smiles on their faces."
