ELYSIA - Arbeiten am neuen Album
Die Hardcore Band aus Sacramento hat die Arbeiten zum neuen Album so gut wie abgeschlossen und schreibt in ihrem MySpace Blog:
"Just wanted to give every an update on how the new album is going since the last update was so long ago!
Well we have everything pretty much all finished recording, just going in on tuesday feb 19th to finish some vocals! We finished everything else in just 6 days at Godcity studios where we worked with Kurt Ballou of converge, who was awesome to work with by the way! We couldn't have asked for someone better to record this album with, we are very happy with the process at godcity and of course the amazing sound. The productions sounds really raw and heavy like a live show which is exactly what we wanted, not overproduced or too polished like most bands go for now days. So once it's completely finished recording on 2/19, kurt will be mixing it starting immediately and should have it sent to Alan Douches of West West Side to master it in a few weeks. I wish I could tell you how long that process will take but I really have no idea, sorry! Just know that as soon as we get the master back from Alan we will post new songs! My guestimate, and remember this is just a guess, as to when that will be is around midmarch maybe? Don't hold me to it! Probably towards the end of our tour with this is hell. Don't worry though because you can still hear the new songs if you come out to our shows with this is hell! Check the final tour dates in our tour dates section on our page!
Oh and did I mention the CD sounds amazing! Kurt is amazing at what he does. You probably are more curious about the music, than how the production sounds though :)
Let's just say it's something fresh and creative and you havn't quite heard anything like it yet. Just like with our older material, which was original back in the time we wrote it, we played around, experimented, and worked hard on something NEW for people instead of the same old boring shit! So hopefully you're not a drone and will be into it!"
