ENDWELL - Nicht mehr bei Victory
... sind scheinbar ohne Vorankündigung aus dem VICTORY RECORDS Rooster geflogen.
Auf ihrer MySpace Seite schreiben Endwell: "So basically heres the deal: WE have spent the last few months playing shows, practicing, writing an writing and writing and writing....we have almost 15 songs right now and more are coming together every day. once we got the ball rolling with the new lineup we thought we were going to be able to get in the studio by february....eager to get out a new album with a new focus, the new members and a new attitude. Were essentially a new band and we have the fire of a new band..were hungrier than ever to get the music out there and tour as much as we can. The TRUTH is that for the past few months sadly we have seen a our band become a declining point of interest at Victory Records.
After countless attempts to get the ball rolling to get us back in the studio we realized that this asnt going anywhere. Essentially Victory signed a different band with different values and a different take on the music industry 2 years ago. Now in 2008 we no longer share the same interests as victory and they decided not to fufill the 2nd option on our contract. THE TRUTH is that i found out about this TODAY via text message from a friend in florida linking me to a thread on ABSOLUTEPUNK.net showing that ENDWELL had been moved to the Artist Alumni page on Victorys Website..thats right not an email, a phone call....nothing. Sadly we have made a lot of friends at/through the label and we shared some great memories together. we wish the staff at Victory Records and all the people on the street team who helped us out over the past few years nothing but the best...its nothing personal with them and quite honestly in a short time weve seen many come and go. In this industry you quickly see that genuine, honest people who arent cutthroat are few and far between here but all that aside...we are ready to take on the world in a whole new way. THE TRUTH is that we are relieved to be able to get in the studio as soon as we can. we are going to finish up demos and we will be releasing an EP title ' Revenge is a Healthy Motive' its going to have 4 brand new songs as well as a cover.We may do a limited vinyl run...were toying around with some ideas as Were in the process of searching for a label to release the EP on and quite frankly its pretty exciting to get a fresh start. Well have more info coming to you very soon. we are on this myspace every single day and we are going to keep you all updated as frequently as possible.
ALSO..... we will be relasing a FULL LENGTH album on 2008..... AND WE HAVE SOME AWESOME TOURS LINED UP WELL BE PUTTING UP ALL THE INFO IN THE NEXT FEW DAYS AND CHECK OUT THE 3 NEW DEMOS.....THEY ARE JUST A TASTE.
