FALCONER - beenden Aufnahmen zu Armod

Die Schweden haben die Aufnahmen ihres neuen, mittlerweile siebten Albums abgeschlossen.
Elf Stücke mit schwedischen Texten, von denen vier auch als englische Versionen auf der limitierten Erstauflage enthalten sein werden, wurden erneut in den Sonic Train Studios des King Diamond-Gitarristen Andy La Rocque im Dezember und Januar eingespielt. Die Aufnahmen und das Abmischen gingen so entspannt vonstatten wie noch nie in der Geschichte der Band, betonen alle Beteiligten nach dem Abschluss der Arbeiten.
FALCONER-Gitarrist Stefan Weinerhall klärt auf:
"The album is embracing the Swedish folk music to a greater extent than before making it sound slightly more down to earth. The music spans from acoustic songs with cello, flute and fiddle to songs with blastbeats and really heavy riffing. As said before this is a "one time only" album and does not define the future sound of Falconer, but it was about time to pay full notice to the influence that has always made us different. Now we have that out of our system!"
