FOR THE DAY OF REDEMPTION - Auflösung
Die belgische Metal/Hardcorer haben sich nach sieben Jahren aufgelöst. Die VILLAGE KIDS RECORDS Band veröffentlichte zuletzt 2007 eine Demo, im Jahr zuvor eine SPLIT mit den Lichtensteinern von AFTER RISING SUN.
Auf ihrer MySpace Seite schreiben sie: " Alright, it's more than time to say it : FOR THE DAY OF REDEMPTION is no more. After five years of playing music, touring through Europe and UK, having fun and meeting amazing people, we've come to a point where we decided to call it quit. he reason is that it's just time for some of us to take different directions and choices and that this is not possible while staying a band. We really apologize for not giving you a last farewell show. We tried but conditions didn't allow us to do so... We want to give a big round of applause to all the people who trusted in us and shown it by coming to shows and dancing like crazy, setting up a gig or a tour, buying merch!!! We want to thank all the bands we played and shared time with in a backstage area, on the road and on stage. We want to thank all the people who got involved in the band's life by drawing a cover, building a website, driving a car for hours, putting out a CD, recording... From those five years, we only keep good memories and all your faces are engraved in our hearts. We want to thanks God for everything He provided for us. He's the reason of this band and the reason of our lives and to Him be all the glory. David, Joseph, Aurelien and Dave."
